I returned the 1st laptop I bought because of continual blue screens of death. Returning within Best Buys 15 day policy was a breeze. I then decided to reorder the same laptop. I wanted to give it a second chance as it had all the options I wanted. I do not regret my decision. I transferred all my files from the old laptops full hard drive via my USB transfer program. The transferred files take up about 1/2 the hard drive on this laptop. Opening programs is very fast. It did not take long to figure out Win 10, I had to go online to find out how to do somethings like disable password login and turn off popup notifications. Connecting to the internet through my NetGear router is lightning fast. The only problems I have are getting used to the locations of the left and right click buttons which are different than my Lenovo. On the HP Pavillion the Lt & Rt click pads are not visible but under the scroll pad cover. And so many times I tried to get on the internet and couldn't connect. After getting frustrated and doing restarts to be able to go online. I figured out the reason I was having trouble was because Win 10 was updating items. Now I just leave the laptop on longer. Screen color is very good. Sound is loud, and DVD's play with no problem. The keyboard is easy to use. The laptop is light and for me takes some getting used to as my Lenovo Thinkpad is built like a tank which I liked. Since I as a trucker the Lenovo took a beating in the cab and sleeper. I would have had to be way more careful with this unit. I like this HP Pavillion so much I am getting the same laptop for my wife...

The computer itself works fine - processing speed, screen resolution is all good. The issue is when I play sound through the speakers the speakers fade - sound is fine through headphones. Sound will start loud and then just fade quietly. I have had HP reinstall the speaker driver 3 times so it is obviously the hardware. The problem is that now it is past the 15 day return policy from Best Buy and if I send back to HP it will take weeks to get back. The problem comes and goes so we are dealing with it.

Reliable computer, with plenty of space and a good speed! I use my computer for work purposes, and personal use. I have had the computer for roughly one month and have not had any issues. I am very pleased with this laptop. HP is always my go to!

It is good for common users. It operates very fast and I like the color as well as the keyboard.

Sleek, lightweight, touchscreen is a nice touch. Fast processor speed, simple to use.

I have been very impressed with the performance so far and would recommend for anyone, unless you are wanting to use it for high level gaming. I thought it was a very good value for the performance.

Very good product so far. It is loaded with a ton of great features and has the speed, storage and feature I was looking for. Also the looks are pretty cool. One thing i would have loved to had was LED-Backlit keyboard which is missing and for this price i was expecting that. But still i would say worth the price and would definitely recommend it.

I previously had an HP laptop and bought this one to upgrade and update with Windows 10. I really like the ease of use and had the Geek Squad set up, which I recommend. If you are familiar with a microsoft computer, this will not take long to get used to. I must admit, I do miss my backlit keyboard, but otherwise am enjoying the new computer. I would recommend this version, if you are looking to find a new laptop.

This computer is one of the best. I tried 3 other HP before and they all have a noisy hard drive. It is extremely fast.

Its a good laptop for home use. better to have Mcafe antivirus installed on this laptop. other antivirus software will make the system slow

This computer was a gift, and it's been greatly appreciated so far. It's no gaming laptop, but it's pretty powerful under the hood. She loves the touch screen capability. Great product overall, I enjoy HP products.

I am enjoying my computer but the battery doesn't last as long as my older laptop.

Getting used to Windows 10 is actually the most challenging aspect of this machine. It works as expected and is fairly intuitive.

I like the computer but the speakers are not good. If I don't use earbuds/headphones or cast to my TV so I can turn the volume up, it's hard for us to hear most of the time.
