Not bad for the sale price of $349

This is a decent entry level type laptop however I decided to return mine as I wasn't fully impressed with it. I thought I wanted a bigger laptop coming from a 13.3 macbook air (2015 model) but after receiving this one in the mail from Best Buy i've decided to stay with my macbook air. I just prefer the Apple operating system over Windows 10 and I enjoy the backlit keyboard feature on my mac as well as the overall ease of use and speed (I'm just used to macs now I guess). This isn't a bad choice for someone looking for a good overall value and if you prefer/like a windows based laptop, the screen size would probably be ideal for some, the keyboard is pretty good, the sound is ok, the overall look of this laptop is nice, it has an i3 processor so the speed is pretty good, so overall its not bad at all and for the price of $349 plus tax i'm sure it would be a good purchase for those seeking a lower end but decent laptop.

    Great budget laptop

Upgraded from Vista, 2 gigs of ram and AMD processor. The 5th generation i3 5020u processor is top notch and handled everything I threw at it and 4 gigs of ram has been more than plenty. It handles basic gaming smoothly it also handles multiple pages in Google Chrome, while having a video playing in the background while handling multiple downloads. It's a great media laptop and Windows 10 is awesome! I totally recommend this for a budget laptop. The bundled ram and processer is more than enough to handle everyday tasks. As everyone knows for more demanding tasks spending more for extra ram and processor is common knowledge.

Elegent out look and fine product finish

I bought this laptop after thorough search. I was looking for good laptop in budget category. Saw many laptops of different brands including HP, Asus, Dell, Toshiba and Acer. This was the best for the price. Its big yet elegant looking. One thing which other brands in the same price range lack is the FINISHING of the product. This one really looks nice from both outside and inside. It has windows 10, gives nice feeling to surf around on the internet. Adds are Quality, robustness, speed, cool sense feature and different light indicators (which are rare in a laptop of this price range). Now few odds for which I have given it four stars instead of five. Screen is not that bright, Key board is a bit, i say again a bit sluggish when you double press a key (can irritate you if you want to type fast), and the biggest odd which is really annoying....... processor makes noise (like old classic desk top computers) with the blink of the processor indicator light. But I would definitely recommend this for those who want quality, robustness, elegance in low price. Oh yes the RAM is 4 GB (more than enough for the web browsing and office use). And one more thing they say it has two USB 3.0 ports but I am not sure if they are 3.0 or 2.0 because all the three available USB ports are of black color. (USB 3.0 is normally indicated by blue color in the tech world) Yes recommended for the price.

    Affordale for the average user

This computer was on sale when it was purchased and for under $400 it was a steal, nice size and decent speed, BUT for someone like me that does alot of downloading and alot of browsing, this computer is for school and normal use. IF you plan on keeping this compuer for a long time i do not reccomend it, the quality of the screen is not good compared to my older HP laptop, and it moves just as slow. The market for intel processers are i3, i5, and i7. i3 being you regular user and can handle you occasional workload. and i7 is for the gamers, graphic designers, and multiple daily tasks....Choose which one you would prefer and do your reaserach, you will see the difference in what you pay for.

I bought this as a replacement for my old HP. It was easy to set up and I love everything except the touchpad. It is very stiff and the areas to click are not well-defined. It is hard on your fingers and hands after even a little use.

    Touch pad difficult to use

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Overall, I'm happy with this laptop. Adapting to Windows 10 was a challenge, but I managed it. However, the touch pad needs some work. First, instead of right and left "buttons," one must click the right and left lower corners of the pad itself. I had to call support to figure that one out. Worse than that is the fact that the right half of the touch pad is almost useless. I tap. Nothing happens. I attempt to scroll nothing happens. I have to move my dominant right hand all the way over to the left in order to get a response. Uncomfortable at best.

    No Access to RAM?

I can't believe that anyone would sell a computer that the owner could not upgrade or access RAM. Glad I found this out before purchase. No wonder why it is such a good deal.
