Bought two of these as my wife has always enjoyed her Pavilion. No-button touchpad that relies on right and left mouse button clicks by using the front corners of the touchpad ... gets confused if you take short quick flicks and changes screen size, cannot drag-and-drop for video editing, or simply does not allow my wife to play her games. Many newer laptops have this type of touchpad instead of one with buttons, so we are in trouble. Returned for twp Leonovs with older style touchpad. Otherwise it's a good general use laptop but would recommend only if you can handle the touchpad.

The only problem with this laptop is that if you touch the wrong keys it changes the keyboard! It is easy to change back once you figure out how! It is still a good purchase especially for the price

Bought it for wife. She loved the look and features. We got a good student deal and saved $150. Speed is good and the laptop looks great. Would recommend it for its look and good performance.

This is one smooth working machine. Had 7 for over 5 yrs, then bought this 10 for my wife and was not happy with it at first but then we figured it out. We keep saying wow! Perfect upgrade! After 8 hrs constant use it's still cool to the touch. Old computer would be very hot. Good deal for 429.00.

It's functional. Nice wide screen. Liked no touch screen option. Like it has place to rest palms while typing. A little heavy and klunky.

This is a great computer. I got this for graduate school and it is perfect. It is a large laptop so I would get something smaller if you are going take it to work or to class.

This computer is amazing. I just wish it had Bluetooth built in. :-/. Other then that super fast and perfect for everything I use it for. I would definitely buy it again.

This was a great buy for the price. I needed a new laptop but didnt want to soend alot or need all the bells snd whistles. This has been a great laptop and glad I bought it

I have had no problems with daily use of this computer even without much knowledge of computers. It's been a great experience and already has been extremely useful as a tool to achieve long term goals of school. I have already had one friend buy the exact same computer!

I am really pleased with my purchase. I was a little apprehensive with this purchase at first but found this to be very reliable and easy to navigate. Definitely glad I decided to stick with HP. No reservations whatsoever about this lap top. Loving my purchase.

We were looking to replace an old Toshiba. Just needed for basic web surfing and Microsoft Office. We like the full keyboard and the big screen. It's a bit heavier than the old Toshiba but that is not a big deal for us, we don't carry it around all the time.

Great value. Does everything as advertised right out of the box. Be sure to purchase the extra service plan - well worth the peace of mind. Set up was simple and easy. It found my network and all the attached devices by itself. That makes life enjoyable.

This laptop was very affordable and provides all the basic needs for college students. And it works pretty well for the games they like to play also.

The HP - Pavilion 17.3 Laptop is a fine Machine for all of your basic home computing needs. It is slim and fits on the shelf when not in use and is very comfortable for the whole family to watch movies on when we are traveling -I highly recommend it !

Love windows 10, laptop easy to set up, user friendly. I would recommend this to all my friends and family. I had no problems connecting to my web site and printer. Easy to transfer information from old laptop. Fun to play games on and surf the net.

The battery length of this laptop is amazing. It is pretty fast once you uninstall a few programs. It is great for streaming videos and TV shows.

This computer has been great. I like the 17 inch monitor, but the resolution isn't the best. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase.
