    Frustrating experience

The model I had researched was not in store, so I went with the salesman's recommendation. First issue: the keyboard is all crammed together. The 0 key on the numeric keypad has been reduced, causing frustrating entry work. Second issue: the Office program I purchased at the same time keeps crashing. As a backup computer for my bookkeeping office, it's a bust. I would not recommend for any office environment.

Hard drive failure after one week. Spent over $250 and many hours with tech friend specialist trying to resolve problem. Finally returned hard drive, received new one quickly, installed 3 days ago and hoping no more problems. Very disappointing situation.

    Great All-in-One. Impressive build quality

Picked this up during a 4-hour flash sale and I am really impressed. The combination Core i3 and 8TB RAM makes the machine extremely fast for everyday tasks, streaming, and light gaming. The 23-inch IPS 1080p touchscreen is gorgeous and the touch functionality makes the machine fun to use, particularly in Windows 10 Touch Mode to read news, shop, or play games. The Windows 10 update was easy and prompted during the Windows 8 setup. I did have to go into Device Manager and download the latest sound driver in order for the sound to function after the update. B&O speakers sound great for streaming. Plenty of ports also make the machine versatile - 4 USB and HDMI in the rear and 2 USB 3.0, memory card reader and headphone jack under the screen. Hadn't purchased an HP computer in more than 10 years and this machine has definitely made me a fan again.

Good computer for what I need

Last winter my laptop bit the dust finally after spilling coffee on it. Started using my husbands that I hated. I work from home so I needed a reliable computer that did everything I needed plus I could use it for personal as well. Started looking into laptops and realized I didn't want one so looked into all-in-ones. I am very happy that I bought this instead of a laptop. Now I am able to see everything with the screen size (Which I love) and the screen quality is amazing. The camera quality seems great to me, though I have yet to have a chance to fully test it out. CONS: Mouse is to big for my hand. I feel as if the mouse is for man hands(no offense) and feels semi cheaply made. - The keyboard is okay, takes awhile to get used to it but seems to do find. It's kind of all squished together as one thing in my view and I have to remember where the arrow buttons are. PROS: -Touchscreen! It's so much fun and using paint with it is a blast - easy to use- so easy my mother in law figured it out - Updated to Windows 10 without any issues -Sound quality of speakers is AMAZING! I could hear my music from across the house and while the tv was on. Overall, I would say this computer is good for anyone of any age. My Father in Law wants one now that he fiddled with it. Perfect school computer, family computer, or work computer! (I have only owned this for a few days, but I have spent a lot of time with it)

    HP All in one q014

Wanted a new PC for our 4 year old granddaughter. It set up quickly and was already downloading Win 10 while setting up. Was running Win 10 within a few minutes. She can navigate the touch screen with no issue and has a ball with her online learning games. Hate Win 8 and am very pleased with Win 10. Sale price and no tax weekend made it all the better. Pleasantly surprised with the performance of the Core i3 processor. Would give 5 stars but had to get HP support to get speaker drivers installed.

I bought this after price searching for a month on similar products. Got an email from BB with a super price on 4-hour sale. Shipped fast. Set up was mostly easy, difficulty most likely my own inexperience & tech knowledge. Geek Squad helped & solved problems efficiently after a considerable wait. Super deal on sleek, fast machine. Downloading Windows 10 easy...but using takes some getting used too.

Love this computer, bought it from Best Buy on sale and have had it a few days now and all I can say is Awesome! It is fast and the touchscreen is beautiful and very responsive. Love that it doesn't take up any space at all and I am loving the Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Speakers are great as well.

easy setup, upgrade to Win 10 was a breeze, very satisfied with screen resolution, was torn between a conventional desktop & all in one, but the absence of cables is a must! keyboard is soft, mouse could be better, will use it for simple tasks in a small office, prior ratings helped to make choice, price was next step from having to choose a pentium processor with less RAM/HD space.

    Good Computer - Bad Instructions

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

When I assembled the computer the (very brief) instructions said to follow the instructions on the keyboard and wireless mouse boxes to make them work. The mouse box had only pictures which showed you should 1) remove the tab to connect the battery, 2) insert the transceiver into the slot on the mouse, and 3) turn on the mouse. I did all these things and got a "keyboard error" message on the screen, and the computer recognized neither the keyboard nor the mouse. Best Buy recommended I return the computer. When I did, the tech looked and told me that the transceiver should be inserted into the back of the computer, not in the mouse. I showed him the instructions, and he agreed they are wrong. They spent a lot of time and effort to make this product, and I spent five hours and two bridge tolls to correct a problem I shouldn't have had. Otherwise, it works well.

    Perfect Computer for Mom

I am an IT Professional and am rather picky as to what I will recommend for my family. I know I will be the one Mom calls when something goes wrong. The touchscreen makes it similar to her iPad, but is still that familiar Windows she requires. She has only called to ask where to turn it on. A very simple question :) All-in-all, this is a great system for her.

Nice all in one computer for the money

As other did, I picked this up on a 4 hour sale for $399, half off the list price. Very nice HD screen and start start up. Did not yet download Windows 10 as I've heard others have had some problems. Figured I'd let the links get ironed out for a few weeks. Overall, you can't beat it for the money!

    Almost perfect

This product is great. Most of the connections (usb, memory card etc) are hard to get to because they are either between the back of the screen and the stand or on the underneath of the of the screen. After thinking about it, I realized that was likely for aesthetic purposes. The best part is that it is a nice looking piece of equipment that only needs a power cable. It allowed us to have a nice pc outside of our office room without a tower and a bunch of cables. A laptop wasn't ideal for us due to the smaller screen sizes. I did notice some slight backlight bleed and screen uniformity issues but this thing is half the cost of an Apple so there is that.

Worst computer I have ever owned and have had many

Frequently freezes, non responsive, crashes, etc. Geek squad has not been able to fix after many tries. I have been using PC'S since the early 1980's and this one gives more trouble than any other. Don't buy this.
