After trying several monitors to use as a good compatible 2nd monitor for my iMac, this is the one that has the best resolution for price range. It is also huge and great for editors, music, etc.

I purchased the monitor online and picked it up in the store, so I had never seen it before setting it up. It was precisely as described on the Best Buy site and it was extremely easy to set up. And with all that screen it was such a relief to my eyes to have what seemed like an immense landscape to work with. The online purchase was easy, for there was a comparison chart function on the website. The store pickup was easy. The setup was easy. And the resulting monitor use has been a pure joy. I would do it again in a moment.

Awesome monitor. Very clear and high resolution, even for up-close viewing. Bought it for work, and look at it all day long. I prefer one big monitor over two smaller ones.

If you are seeking a beautiful large monitor for work or casual use this is perfect. The screen resolution is fantastic and the monitor looks very sleek! I particularly like it for side by side document comparison and editing (it's like having 2 full size monitors) Unless you intend on watching full movies on this, there is no need for 4K. At that size it makes font way too small anyway. Quad HD gives you the resolution you need (better than regular HD), and when it went on sale for $229 on this site, I could not resist. Note that i like this monitor so much I bought 2, one for work and one for home.

Buy it! Best Buy is terrific on returns - especially if you are a "member", and unless you are a gamer, this screen is a keeper! For under $400 [$300 on sale!] this 34" QHD monitor has a fantastic picture. I had, a few years ago, bought a 27" 1080p monitor, but the pixels were too visible so I exchanged for a 25". At 2560 x 1440, this is not a problem on a 34" 16:9 monitor. Using Display Port output, the high resolution is possible and the colors are true, even without calibration. I am a semi-professional photographer, and I also do desktop publishing, and the larger screen has enough real estate to let me reduce the clutter of two monitors. This might not be a gamers' dream, but my onboard video supports 70Hz. The only thing I don't care for is that the VESA bracket mounts at the lower edge of the back of this monitor, so I had to re-mount my bracket make it fit. NOTICE: I was unable to get decent 2560 x 1440 using my Nvidia GT card, even though it supports that resolution - it just didn't look good... So, I'd plan on using Display Port or a newer card.

This is an absolutely gorgeous monitor. I was initially concerned with it being a VA panel, that love child between TN and IPS and thought that I would be displeased by it -- but I'm far from that. Everything from motion to color is absolutely amazing. It's big, bright and beautiful and fantastic for media -- editing and consuming! I use it for PC games too and it has no problem, that 6ms response time that it advertises isn't noticeable in the very least bit. Best of all, I've got it overclocked to 84 hz with ease over a displayport -- which is what it comes with. Would recommend.

I wanted to get a large display, but felt that 4K displays made everything too small. This display is QHD, so everything is sized perfectly. I actually bought two, and have a dual monitor setup. It's almost too much! Screen quality is top notch. Buttons are on the back of the display, but they actually have guides on screen to show you what they do - a nice touch. Stand is very basic, but does what it needs to just fine. VESA mounting brackets are included if I wanted to mount the display onto a wall mount or desk mount. DisplayPort and HDMI cables are also included.

Nice large monitor that is 2k. Isn't 4k, but for the price (I bought it on sale) and the size it was worth it!

This is a really good monitor if you can get it for the right price. The specs are spartan, but adequate. The large size is a big plus and it's very color accurate and quite nice to look at. Very bright and crisp detail, even tho it is only 1440p, it looks almost 4k.

We purchased this monitor instead of multiple smaller ones to serve for a work from home position. It is large enough that I can pull up multiple screens and not worry about flipping back and forth to see all the information I need. The resolution is crisp and it was easy to set up with my docking port.

One of my two-monitor displays died so rather than continuing with two displays, I opted for one large display. This is for a home office and not work. If it was for work, I would have stayed with the two-display configuration. That being said, I love the large display. Especially being able to "zoom" and view content without reading glasses. The color seems fine but the resolution is a little less than I anticipated. I'm still tweaking the settings though. For the price, I was able to purchase one large monitor for less than the two-display setup. It also saves space on my desk.

I've had this monitor for several months now and have had no problems at all. Picture quality is very good. The unit is very heavy compared to others but since it stays in one place it's not an issue.

Great size, picture and resolution. Bought two to use for drafting and they worked out great.

Screen is huge, good color and responsive time from picture changing. Great for gaming!

This display appealed to me due to its sheer size. It has tons of desktop real estate. However, its 2K resolution is its downfall for my intended use. 1920X1080 resolution doesn't look great on a monitor >24" because text isn't crisp. The same applies here. The pixels are too large for text to be sharp yet smooth on a display of this size and I'm very sensitive to that,. There's a graininess there that doesn't smack you in the face but is nevertheless present. I'm not a gamer, but I imagine if you are one this would be a terrific display for you. And I still recommend this display because I know I'm especially picky over the appearance of text.

This monitor is huge. It looks great and has g great resolution. great picture.

Monitor works great. Screen is beautiful. But it’s physically a little heavy.

This was an online Black Friday purchase as I was wanting to purchase a larger monitor. I have a Dell i7 Latitude 3847 desktop computer with 16 GB of ram and Windows 10 installed. I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that the Intel HD graphics card recognized the full resolution capability of this monitor at 2560 x 1440! I thought that I would have to buy a new graphics card to support this resolution. I am a weather buff and enjoy keeping multiple windows open to view the radar, data from my weather station as well as information from the National Weather Service. I use the supplied HDMI cable and I enjoy the 16:9 aspect of the the monitor. It is the right size for me for being large but not overwhelming.
