Even though it only has a small 128GB SSD, it helps make the performance of the machine go faster. I would recommend saving to the SSD drive, kind of pointless they put the SATA Drive in the machines. Least it helps with space and the fact it has 8GB of ram makes it a good machine. Great speed and performance, but wish HP would change their Bios checking, you have to go into the setup and check what Version of the box you have, they should just list this on the box and make it simple to download the correct one. I bought a bunch of these for clients already and nice when they have them on sale vs full price

Perfect for the not-so-tech-savvy person. This PC was very easy to set up. Very fast processor and the SSD makes for super fast start ups. Can handle multiple programs smoothly. Got it on sale for $429 on black Friday and couldn't be happier.

This is a good basic computer. It canewith Windows 10 installed and it sets up very easy. Fast start up and use due to o.s. being on ssd and plenty of room for storage on additional hdd. Even came with keyboard and mouse.

Very fast and silent. Plenty of CPU power and speed for typical use. HP are great products - avoid other companies (Lenovo) which are directly linked to China!

This is a great computer to use in a home office. It's fast, quiet and has enough storage for all my programs and any files I need. It could also be used in a small business environment. Very versatile.

It was hard to pass up this powerhouse! I initially was looking at other brands, but kept coming back to HP. Not only was the price a part of the equation, I couldn't get pass that this machine packed a punch and matched or out-weighed it being a HP in comparison to other newbies out there. Once I got it home and set up..... It certainly solidified my decision to go with a brand I trust. You will love it. Don't keep looking at the new shiny carrot of others. Trust in the HP Brand that continues to not only outperform, but outlast newcomers!!

I sure like having everything working again. Had to switch out the old for the new. Being an old guy, & not high tech, I don't do a lot with my computer. However, it's supposed to jump when I "click". It works so much faster and better with the extra hard drive in it. The price was right, too! It's just too bad that everything can't be transferred from the old to the new, but that's "RESET".

I was very pleased with this purchase. Hard to find a desktop that has both SSD drive and large standard hard drive. The SSD drive really increases the speed that the machine operates at.

My new HP desktop was very easy to set up and it has performed very well. It is much faster than the (several years old) HP desktop it replaced with no glitches or problems.

Originally bought this for my son but then got him one with 2TB two weeks later. Decided to keep this for myself since I wanted to replace my all in one (was starting to run out of internal storage). This is great for everything from paying bills to online games and RPG's. Fast start up (even with the pre-installed apps) and still fast after I put all my apps onto it. Very spacious hard drive. Extremely quiet. Definitely worth looking at if in the market for a new desktop.

The computer has all you need for a home computer. vet efficient. has good speed along with space and capabilities. Very compact too. Small enough to leave on desktop.

Bought this to replace the all-in-one that I returned. Intel i3 with a fast but limited capacity ssd m2 . Added a 1T USB drive, for additional storage. Very satisfied with this system.

So thankful for this HP Pavilion Desktop Computer Tower. I so needed this! I chose to purchase HP brand because HP is the best! In my opinion. The HP - Pavilion Desktop - Intel Core i3 - 8GB Memory - 1TB Hard Drive + 128GB Solid State Drive is a great computer and is worth the investment. I recommend anyone that chooses to purchase a new computer to give this HP Pavilion a try. You will not be disappointed.

I work from home & as my last desktop got older & slower it was affecting my production. I went to Best Buy & asked an employee in the computer section what computer would suit my needs best for my work. He suggested this computer & the difference is incredible. No slow loading, boots up super fast, is great all around. I highly recommend it.

Got this unit for my daughter and so far has been running great. The size is perfect and priced very reasonable

Needed to replace my 10 yr old desktop (WIN 7) .. This computer hit the spot. Win 10 is awesome.. connecting to network, printers, etc. is almost automatic. (passwords needed) I had planned to swap the solid state drive to a larger capacity; but discovered that the drive was M.2 (versus SATA) - 5 time faster... impressive.. (again, easily up-gradable; but decided to leave it alone.. simply save everything to the D: drive (1 terabyte) and leave the C: drive for the Operating system and you will be very happy. Noted other comments about the keyboard, mouse, and DVD drive... YEP, they are all low end.. purchased a logitech keyboard and mouse ($20, with pc purchase). DVD player is seldom used.. everyone typically streams any downloads today; so it's functional if needed.

Got it for my wife as a replacement for a Dell that was so slow. Wife loves it. Fast, easy to use. Easy to set up.

Very fast PC, the solid state portion of the drive really makes a difference. Seems to do everything well.

I previously had a HP tower that lasted a dependable eight years (which I understand is a good long time). I ordered the HP Pavilion Desktop. It was nearly plug and play setting it up. Many of the HP features I like and am familiar with are still in place along with sound good updates as well. I am comfortable recommending this HP product. I also own the HP Envy 5000 printer which works really well too. In this day and age, it's nice to know an old name in the industry has kept its' quality up to date.

Seems to do everything I need it to do, I use it for business. A good basic computer for a small business or home use
