Round 1: Unpacked computer. Turned on and loaded desktop. Within 20 seconds the entire computer (keyboard, mouse) freezes. No computer noise signifying it is loading something. Forced reboot. Loaded desktop and this occurred again while doing different tasks (to see if it was an isolated issue). This occurred 2-3 more times. I went to do a system reformat. Started this at 3pm. Checked on computer at 7pm and it was at 59%. Checked next morning and it was at the same percentage. Restarted computer and it cycled through the loading the system reformat screen and the HP screen with the small balls spinning before freezing on that screen. Took computer back and ordered a replacement. Round 2: UPS driver brings box in and drops it loudly on the floor. Set up computer and soon after loading desktop the blue screen (attached) is shown. Freaks me out. I restart and everything turns out fine. No freezing issues. I clone the hard drive onto a Samsung - 850 EVO 250GB Internal Serial ATA Solid State Drive, which with the i5 and 8 GB RAM makes the computer LIGHTNING fast. All in all, I have owned many HP computers and have had them display weird, unexplainable errors. Beware and be ready for malfunctions and broken parts.

I was happy when I got the computer, but my happiness only last about a month. That's when it stopped working. I was told it was the motherboard that went bad. Are all these computers like this? I have no idea. I just know the one I got was no good. I was able to return it to the store and exchange it for a different brand of computer.

If there would be one thing negative it would be I would like it to be a little faster. Go with i7 if you need more speed.

My old computer was 9 years old, running Vista, and was starting to have issues. After talking to my son and the associate at Best Buy I chose this computer. Works great!

This computer works great and is what I needed too

I purchased this but with the 12GB RAM option and I've been very happy with it; I use it for some fairly demanding tasks including heavy Photoshop work, software development, and music production and it works very well; much faster than I expected an i5 machine to be. My only complaint is that the Wi-Fi sometimes drops when the PC goes to sleep; but that's a software issue that I hope will be fixed soon.

Had to purchase new tower because Windows Vista no longer supported on some sites. I like that it doesn't have the speed and storage issues that my old computer was having. This one runs so quiet!

I just purchased it and it locked up going through the welcome. Keeps locking up. Don't buy.
