My old xp computer quit and I needed a replacement. I went to BB because I new they could set everything up so it was ready to use. I am limited in knowledge when it comes to the new tec. toys . So I always try to shop at BB because I know someone can help me. The computer I purchase fills my need and I am happy with it...

It did not come with free antivirus program or Windows Office for Student Home use which I have had for years. Great capacity (one terabyte) but I needed to buy a monitor to use it. Came with Windows 8.1 but I had previously purchased Windows 8.1 Pro. No picture of keyboard explaining the function of several new keys that don't seem to do anything. Instruction booklet was not very helpful.

Lots of storage. Fast enough. I'm not a gamer so It's a good computer for most people, and the price seemed right to me.

Just plug it in , And watch it GO!!!. Just two click , and I was ready to start surfing the web in just minutes . Thanks to wonderful staff at Best Buy they turned in the right direction .

Bought this for a Co worker and she has had no complaints. It's a great size and can be placed on top of desk. It comes with keyboard and mouse. Great price for a windows 8.1

HP what else do you need to know? Great style, compact size, easy to setup and it does what it was designed to do very well.

this smaller size tower compare to my old one fit very nice under my desk. It's very easy to set it up and work great!

Going from XP to Windows8 presents a learning curve. However that's what google and youtube are for. So far so good.

I am really pleased with my new HP computer. It replaced a laptop which was really slow at times. The HP computer has been much faster and much more reliable.

This HP Slimline400 KC Series computer has performance excellently for my family since we purchased it in June. Its fast and does the job we bought it for.

The compter itself is good but, hate Windows 8 and the fact that the regular games that were offered with Windows 7 such as Solitaire and Spider Solitaire are not available, only XBox games and other junk we do not need or use. My 86 year old Mom always played the games to keep her mind and hands active but now, she can't play them. Extremely disappointed. Would prefer to have Windows 7 back.

HP Pavilion gave me every feature I expected, even one I didn't expect, it runs silently. It's bundled software and setup were essentially plug and play.

The current series of HP compact computers move the power supply out of the case to a laptop type brick. You have helped to keep the PC cooler especially on a machine that is on 24/7. With a 1 TB drive it makes a nice and VERY quiet media server for your home network. There is enough power for the kids to do their homework and surf the web. At a $400 price point you have a great deal!
