I give it 4 stars because product features describes another computer entirely! First off, make sure you read the specifications because product features describes another computer completely. This has 8GB of Ram and a Dual core with 4 threads and a 250GB HD. Not 16GB of Ram a Quad Core and 1TB HD. And the DVD reader works but only writes -R. But, if none of that bothers you it makes for a great fixer-upper. Runs great! Good for personal, small office or school work. I wouldn't recommend this for gaming. The upgrades alone you might as well get another computer. But if you're running an old computer like windows XP, Vista or Win 7 32bit and want to migrate all your files over to something better for $221 you can't beat it. Just take the good parts from your old computer. DVD drives, video card, HD and so on and move them over as well. Just make sure the 320W power supply this HP comes with can handle what you're putting in it. did not have all the hardware to install second hard drive, had to print some adapters on my 3d printer, the bios is not very good, limits the functions of the cpu, can not enable hyper-v. the main reason I got this one was for the computer case. room for 2-4 drives. (with adapters), I installed an aftermarket card reader and second hard drive.

I am satisfied with this purchase. It works great, and it was the perfect choice for school work. I don't have any problem it works fast I don't have any complains so far it was the best choice and the best the price was affordable!!

Love the price for a temp PC and to see how well Windows 10 works.

I had a computer go out at one of my business and we needed one that just handled some pretty basic things and this computer worked out great. We didn't need a ton of bells and whistles but we loaded all of the software on it that we needed and so far it seems to be working great!

This truly is a fantastic, fast speed great computer. I have had no issues, outside of the default browser being Edge.

I was hacked and they burned out my computer. The tech who came out to review the problem helped me go on line and review a good computer for a reasonable price. He also knew that this computer had more processing power. What started out as a big problem has now made my computer time more enjoyable.

I bought this unit on sale and I'm pretty happy with it. Great home PC. Easy setup. Cosmetic damage on the case but this is expected. Clean inside the case, just a bit of dust and there's nothing loose. Runs quietly and seems efficient. Be aware that if you want to put a decent graphics card in this machine that you will have to upgrade the power supply. This is no easy task and is really not recommended, however, there are workarounds that you can find on the web. This is because the motherboard is proprietary to HP. Do your research before buying this if you intend to make this a gaming unit.

I bought this pc when my old system crashed and died for good. I was pleasantly surprised at how well this system works. I will add more memory and another hard drive but right out of the box this PC is great for my everyday usage. I've recommended refurbished products to other family members based on how pleased I am with computer.

Bought this PC because it runs Win 10 PRO which was recommended by my IT person for doing streaming of our radio station program. Very quiet unit. One year warranty. Shipping was excellent. Good buy. However, using Win 10 is somewhat a challenge but that has nothing to do with the value of this PC. Had to download Google and change the file extension to get it to install. After that everything worked fine. I'll never use Microsoft Edge.

I bought this to replace a PC that I used daily for work, music and some gaming. This arrived in great shape and has worked perfectly since powered up. Great choice for the money.

This PC is a great value for the money. It was easy to set up and came with genuine windows 10. The 8GB of RAM really made this computer quick.
