My old computer was slowly dying and needed to upgrade. Admit I was a bit hesitant at first to buy a refurbished computer, but decided to take a chance on this one .... fast, huge hard drive. I had no problems getting it up and running, though I did have some problems with Windows 10 restarting (but that's not Best Buy's fault ..... software issue). This HP computer is far faster than anything I've ever owned, and I saved a lot of money on it. Definitely recommend this product.

Unit has performed well enough, I use it strictly for hosting virtual machines... However, the DVD drive went south over a year ago. Well, due to a recent startup problem, related to a series of quick power outages, I needed a functional DVD drive on it. As I went to remove the existing drive... I found a most perplexing sight... On the bottom of the DVD drive, someone had already scrawled the word "BAD"... See the attached image! Seems that the refurbisher's certification process has some definite loopholes!

My old desk top with Windows Vista went to pot. I didn't want Windows 10 because my expensive embroidery and crafting programs will not run on 10. I started looking at cheap desk tops (I have two laptops). They were hard to find running Windows 7. I found this refurbished HP and I have always had good luck with HP, so after reading everything I could about the product I purchased it. It looked brand new out of the Box- I had no problem getting up and running. I did have a lot of problems getting windows to update- I persevered and finally got drivers and updates. This is not Best Buy's fault - they offer free Geek squad setup but you need to make an appointment and I live 30 miles from town and didn't want to drag the computer into town. I have very poor internet connection and this Hp is faster than both my laptops. I saved a lot of money and I am thrilled with my purchase.

The computer hard drive failed in less than 6 months. It was acting slow and unresponsive in the weeks leading up to the hard drive failure. This is a work only computer so no software was downloaded and most websites are blocked. The error was a non system disk error, and the computer would not boot up. After the recommended hard disk diagnostic, it failed the short DST and long DST tests. I contacted HP, and they stated that it was not under warranty. They want to charge to fix. So in less than 6 months, I had a hard drive fail, lost all my data that was not backed up, and was told I needed to pay for a repair (price quote pending). *HP is recommending I buy and new hard drive and install myself. What a nightmare this has become. **AVOID THIS PRODUCT and AVOID THIS SELLER** I 100% regret this purchase and will not recommend this or any HP product.

This PC had everything I was looking for. Large storage, max ram. I just hope that buying accessories wont be a problem as this is the first low profile PC I have ever owned.

I was hesitant on buying a refurbished computer, however everything worked out fine and the computer works great.

I have a habit of buying stuff and not opening the box for months. That was the case here, 9 months later the setup was a breeze, the speed and ease of use are good. Has all the features needed for a home use PC.

A really good bargain, for the price, this is a very capable desktop computer, I was afraid because it was a refurbished model, but that ended up not being a problem at all, this worked perfectly.

Just set up last week. Like the speed. Need To get a wi/fi adapter. User friendly so far.

Machine works very well, is like buying a new one but with the benefit of the price, I bought it for my kids to make school stuff and works perfect.

I thought this would be a good PC that would be powerful enough to handle Windows 10. It was. However, when I wanted to plug in my HDMI monitor, I discovered that the HDMI monitor jack was destroyed. I suspect that a previous customer tried to use it with a USB plug and kept pushing it in until the plug was damaged beyond repair. It wouldn't hold the HDMI plug, and I even tried to hold it in, but there was nothing viable enough to connect to. I returned it to Best Buy and bought a new Dell Inspiron desktop for about $20 more.

IT LIES FLAT INSTEAD OF A TOWER WHICH WAS A SURPRISE, BUT THAT'S OK. IT NEEDED AN INTERNET ADAPER WHICH HAD BEEN SORT OF INDICATED BUT NOT CLEARLY SPELLED OUT. THE WIRED MOUSE IS A NUISCANCE AND WILL PROBBLY BE REPLACED WITH A WIRELESS ONE. ALL IN ALL I AM VERY HAPPY.

Super fast computer... great price for a refurbished computer.. really nice.

I’ve had this item for about a month and so far so good! Just an fyi, this computer doesn’t have wireless so you either need to park it next to your router to connect or buy a wireless adapter for about $15 to $50 depending on what you want

What I don’t like is that makes to much noise but overall works great

Great computer with lots of speed. Lots of storage, wonderful for my pictures.

I was looking for a computer that could handle all my scrapbooking/recipes/ blog information/ pictures, and this computer does the trick! It hasn't given me one lick of trouble since we set it up. I know I'll be using for some time to come.
