Customers are impressed with the Spectre x2's keyboard, which is a notable advantage over the Surface Pro. The price is also seen as reasonable. Customers appreciate the long battery life and sleek design. The inclusion of LTE connectivity is also seen as a bonus. There are some concerns about the bezels being larger compared to the Surface Pro 4, but overall, customers are positive about the Spectre x2.

So far so good, except for sometimes the screen will flicker on and off for 20 seconds. If this continues I will contact HP. Other than that it's lightweight and has 4g LTE and this works well for me when traveling.

the sale person, Kyle?, was very helpful. My only complaint is that the touch screen does not work very well. I wish it was more sensitive to touch.

The 2 in 1 computer is great when you need to just grab it with you. Had to return the 1st 2 in 1 computer due to the screen was flickering and I had it exchanged. So far so good.

Really wanted to like it, but had numerous windows and driver issues. Returned and tried another one and had same issues. May have been caused by Windows 10 update, not sure. Returned 2nd one also and did not try a 3rd. Liked the design and price, wished it would have worked o

I would only recommend this product for basic use. Chrome doesn't work correctly, edge sometimes doesn't perform correctly. Overall decent 2n1 but not worth the hype

The first one I had was glitchy so I brought it back and got another and that one was glitchy as well. Would not get this or an hp product again because the issues I had were not resolved by HP support.

Trying hard to like this device, pen sucks so far

I've got my Spectre X2 for more than a week now, I'm still trying very hard to like this device. Pros: 1. By far the best keyboard and trackpad experience you'll find on a detachable laptop/tablet. 2. Acceptable battery life, I got 6~6.5 hrs for my daily use. You can try disabling flash components in Edge settings to save power, 'cause Adobe flash components are usually ads, and that eats up a lot of juice while you are surfing the web. 3. I like the design of this device, better than a Surface Pro 4. Cons: 1. Writing experience with the stylus pen is terrible! 2. Writing experience with the stylus pen is terrible! 3. Writing experience with the stylus pen is terrible! Ok, enough for letting out my frustration with this pen, I'll elaborate more here. The HP Spectre X2 does not come with a stylus pen, but HP designed a dedicated active pen for this device, I bought one from BestBuy.com because I want to use it to jot down some notes for my classes. The pen looked ok, and it has 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity, very good, push button eraser, convenient! But that's about all the good here. The pen's hovering function is terrible, meaning the pen tip needs to get reeeaaally close to the screen (like, 2mm) for the screen to detect its hovering presence, this has destroyed the palm rejection function and renders the whole writing experience punishing and extremely inefficient. To make things worse, from time to time the pen tip detection JUMPS on the screen, like when you are writing at point A in the center of the screen, but the screen mis-detects your pen tip to be at point B which is 1 inch above point A, the result is a strike all the way from Point A to Point B, completely messing up what you are trying to write. In the end, you'll get a total mess. This is really driving me mad, if I ended up abandoning Spectre X2 at all and go for Surface Pro instead this will be the only reason why I will do so! If there's any HP guys here, I'm still hoping that you can resolve this frustrating issue, maybe I got a lemon pen or lemon tablet, I can try exchange, maybe it's a driver issue, then you can show me how to fix it. I checked voltage of the battery of the Pen, it was at 1.6v, so not a battery issue, I've updated the drivers to the latest version, no improvement, I tried to calibrate the pen multiple times, no improvement!

    Beautiful Device, Multitasking Weapon

I am using this beautiful device 2 weeks now, will say is an amazing laptop-tablet-2 in 1. Before get any decision regarding of any buying, I was reading for many days reviews, performances etc.. I came finally to this device..numerical: 1) Some products have the "name", some other products have real BEAUTIFUL SURFACE!. Much better the feeling of MIcrosoft Surface 3 or 4, lil bit heavy but I do not mind at all. 2) I know the processor and comparison of other i3,i5 i7, its builded within 6th generation m3 which means that manufacturers designed them even thinner, lighter, less silent and heating devices without compromising on performance or battery life. Specifically the new 14 nanometer processors of M (compared to the old 22nm) produces transistors that are considerably smaller than in other chips. This is a big deal because there are 1.3 billion transistors in a dual-core Core M processor. 3) Compare ALL & ALWAYS with the price, I have keyboard in the box which is smoothly, great feeling, respond with everything, good size for writing and the speakers awesome, great quality. 4) Playing video games, I did not have any problem so far with heating, lags, graphic card respond great, some titles: Dungeon hunter 5, Asphalt 8, Modern Combat 5 etc. 5) Point to new customer or for the people who complaining, when you buy this laptop-tablet, you have to update the sortware, BIOS, Windows, graphic card, and some other things, which means the laptop itself ask you that it need some extra updates to run smoothly without problem. Unfortunately this is Windows 10. After all you can set this small beast with anything you want and will run everything. 6) The battery is not great, like I expect of course up to 5-6 hours in save mode. Do not compare the life battery with a phone, or Ipad, etc. Its not the same, completely different hardware. 7) Plus to this device is the two ports of USB-C type, trust me you will need them and the SD-CARD port. Always compare with the price. I am happy with this product for $599, I did not have any problem so far, I live in Europe, I look forward to check the 4G capability, I will update my comment if it's operating..

For a laptop, it works well enough as a tablet. But, make no mistake, it's just a small laptop (with a detachable keyboard and touch screen). My biggest problem is that it stopped working (after about three weeks of conservative use) and it had to be shipped back to HP for repairs.

I had to return this product after three days. It refused to turn on after multiple attempts. Took it back to the store and they couldn't get it to turn on as well. Decided to get a surface pro instead. Happy with that.
