After extensive research, we choose this Spectre because it's Light, easy to use, very fast and because we were already familiar with HP products,

To be honest I need to use it more. Have not tried the stylus nor the touch screen, only MS applications and email, nothing fun. I can say it is very portable and battery lasts for a decent amount of time. So far so good. I happy with the purchase.

Purchased this laptop for school and it has been awesome! Came with ita own stylus and a leather carrying case. Originally I was stuck on purchasing a bigger laptop, but I'm glad I ended up choosing this one. Laptop, tablet, touchscreen, you can use the stylus or your finger. Overall it is a nice portable laptop for a decent price.

I bought this to replace my old mac and I am glad I did. My Spectre is extremely fast. I love how light weight it is and the features it has. Compare it to a mac and you get so much more for a lower price. I will only go with Spectre in the future.

Hands down the best luxury 2-in-1 ultrabook! HP has kept the winning design in this year's Spectre. Why changing something that works well. They did update the hardware, however. The 10th generation Core i7 brings more battery life and slightly better performance. It may not play demanding video games, but consider all day-to-day tasks accomplished. The bezelless screen is gorgeous! It is bright enough even for using the laptop on a bright sunny day. The keyboard is backlit and although it lacks a numeric pad, it is understandable on a 13.3" laptop. Overall, amazing laptop!

My daughter likes it as it is fast, and the brightness is very good. She did not want a heavier 15 inch. We looked at various reviews in Cnet, and the "best laptops for students." We had another one in mind maybe the Dell 13 inch first, and then Lenovo on our list, but could NOT get the Lenovo she wanted so we took the Spectre.

Fast, quiet and light! Boots up crazy quick and the battery seems to last forever! Would definitely recommend this laptop! I bought it because it’s small and lightweight, but I love it because of its speed and battery life!

I purchased it as closeout Open Box for just $700, what a great deal for this! All is great, I considered replacing my 15.6" 2 in 1 with it but just could not do it. This laptop is great! If you can pick one up for $800 or $900 or less I would recommend it all day.

This laptop is pretty nice! Bought it on sale for 899$. Love it but kinda wish (now) I would’ve bought a larger one.

I was comparing this with the Dell 13" 2 in 1. I have to say this machine in screaming fast. Well built and my only issue is using the finger print log in, at time it will not recognize my fingerprint. key board is very nice and touch pad really works great.

I’m a Apple user but decided I wanted to try Windows.I really like the size of this computer. The screen has beautiful color resolution. It get a little warm and the fans kick in at times. My only gripe was the trackpad...I recommend this if you want something portable and fast..

Great all day battery life laptop, use it for school, watching videos, even lite gaming. Great for all purpose and also 2 in 1, comes with a pen. Very lightweight and an amazing screen with little to no bezel.

We spent months searching for a sub-$1K business laptop that afforded the necessary processing capabilities without being annoyingly heavy for travel needs. This laptop does not disappoint. To get over the small 13.3" screen size, we added a portable LED monitor - the combined weight of both products was still lighter & easier to travel with than larger sized laptop options.

I just purchased this laptop 3 days ago and yes its beautiful and functional but here are my concerns. I play Second Life and the FPS frames per second was lot slower than usual also I had to adjust my graphic settings and turn on the anti-aliasing to smooth the jagged lines in the game which I never need to do. The fan noise is loud and you must turn on the HP Command Center to quiet it down. And lastly while I was gaming the other night with the computer on a flat surface the heat melted the plastic trim on the rear of the lid. Needless to say I will be returning it...its a shame because the lid should have been all solid with no plastic anything. Otherwise I would keep it.

Thought I could save some money buy buying Certified Open Box. I have done this before with an iPad and it was like new. Not so with this laptop! It was missing a LOT of HP installed programs, such as CoolSense. And it needed it because it ran EXTREMELY hot. Additionally, it was not really erased and set back to as if never decompressed. It already had a name and a lot of the other questions that you usually have to answer to set up a brand new computer were not asked. The install date on the Windows directory was two months prior. Then, when I got an HP popup telling me I had 10 months of warranty left that was the clincher. I will say that Best Buy was gracious when I returned it. I ranked the quality as poor because of the very hot temps it ran at, and also poor quality control for BB to sell this as certified open box. It was on sale for a good price, true. If I had not bought lots of laptops in the past I would have been a very frustrated user not knowing that this machine was not behaving as it was supposed to.

For $900 this laptop is worth every penny Seems like any bloatware that may have been added doesn't slow it down on start up Keypad travel is great Would've loved a bigger track pad but it performs great Windows hello works great Lightweight when you carry it in your backpack you might forget it's in there Great for school or work
