I purchased this computer for day-to-day use and its portability. It's very lightweight, has sufficient battery life and is powerful enough to smoothly run every application/program I've thrown at it. Touch screen is responsive. Tablet and stand modes make this computer versatile.
Cons:
Oversized touchpad is clunky--no reason to be that big
Power button should be raised like the volume rocker
Natural silver chassis prone to scratching
Summary: If you need portability without sacrificing power and features, this is definitely one to consider.

I really like this 'puter. It is light, fast, good battery life, and fun to use. It can't be any thinner or there would not be room for the HDMI and USB ports. I love the solid state hard drive, it boots up in a couple of seconds.

The computer boots at lightning speed, connects with ease to my other electronics, and is lightweight and easy to use. Three things I don't like about this computer - it gets really hot when the battery is plugged in. I am not a fan of the built in mouse pad. I am not sure if it is working improperly or if I am just getting used to it. I also don't like that the brightness of the monitor and the white light up letters on the keys sometimes makes it difficult to see the keys.

So far, after 1 month, I am totally pleased with this HP computer. The SSD is a lot cooler than an HDD. The memory is great as I can open up many windows. The speakers are the best I have ever used. The Intel i7 6500u processor seems to work well for my purpose but probably not for a real gamer. Love it

I have been in the market for a new PC for several months and this fit the bill. I wanted something light and easy to carry when needed and with a SSD drive. Not only did this fit those details but processor is top notch. I could not be happier with this product!

We bought this computer the day it came out so there were no reviews at that point. We needed a lot of storage and speed for our home based graphic arts business needs. My wife loves the keyboard and the fact that it's lightweight. So far in the month that we have had it, we are very happy with our purchase.

I had read that the Spectre had "ghost touch" issues so was hesitant at first, but this powerful, lightweight laptop was everything I needed and BstBuy assured me they would back the product so I jumped in. 2 months in and absolutely zero problems...this thing flies through tasks and has proven to be a great choice for my needs. I would recommend it.

I purchase this computer for my son who's attending college pursuing a cyber-security degree. He has run multiple programs and systems during his first semester and has told me the laptop has been awesome to work with while having multiple windows, programs and other systems running all at the same time.

This HP Spectre 360x is an exceptional computer. super small/light; fast; good battery life. I purchased this for daughter. I'm now headed back to buy one for myself. I highly recommend it. I have purchased 10 computers for myself/family through the years and work in the IT industry.

My previous laptop was a Sony VAIO VGN-Z820 which was a real workhorse even after I extended it's 'life' by installing a 500GB SSD and Windows 10 Pro. My search was for the same compact laptop that would be easy to carry yet have the power to run many programs simultaneously including videos. I researched the Lenovo ThinkPad x1 Yoga, VAIO Z Flip (no longer Sony), MS Surface Book and Dell Inspiron. My criteria was a 1TB SSD, 16GB RAM, 13-15" flip screen and reasonably priced. The Dell Inspiron only had 500GB SSD, the Surface Book was way too expensive (oh yes, the detachable screen - now what do you do with the two separate pieces - cumbersome) . It was a toss up with the Lenovo but I got a better deal with the HP Spectre x360 at Best Buy. It's turning out to be a great laptop. I upgraded to Windows 10 Pro and it boots immediately. Great storage capability and it is lightening fast. The 3 USB 3,0 ports and one HDMI port provide a lot of attachment latitude. I did invest in the Targus Dock 110 which has a LAN port, HDMI port, 2 USB 3.0 ports and VGA port and connects to the laptop via a USB. The keyboard is backlit and the keys have a solid feel - very easy to type. The battery life is great. It is light weight and the brushed aluminum finish looks fantastic. At two months, very happy with this purchase.

I love my laptop, it does everything I need and is very pretty. However, there is a few bugs, when I first tested it out. Overall, it is a really nice laptop that I see as a good investment as both a college student and for future uses. The ssd drive makes all the difference in both speed and quality.

This is at least my 5th laptop machine (I generally replace them every 3 - 4 years) and I use them for business and engineering applications. I absolutely love this one! The 1TB solid state hard drive makes for very fast boot-up (and file storage/retrieval), the i7 processor is super-fast, it is extremely lightweight (but solid - doesn't feel cheap), has great battery life (I've gotten about 10 hours in battery saver mode and had power leftover), and have had no problems with "ghost touch" effects with the touch screen. I rarely fold it over and use it as a tablet, but it is a nice feature when I need it. Bang and Olufsen speakers sound pretty good for tiny computer speakers (but I still generally use wire BA speakers at my desk or a Bluetooth bose speaker when I travel). My only complaint would be that there is no direct internet socket for hard wire - only Bluetooth. Must get a docking station with that socket and plug in through a USB3 port. No big deal ...

Too new when purchased to have reviews. I see others have the ghost click issues where the cursor gets stuck in one spot and keeps clicking. No fixes from HP yet. Only work around I've found is to press power button on side to turn the screen off without shutting it down.

I love this laptop. Fabulous form factor, fast processor, cheaper than my old MacBook (which isn't as powerful, and which has 1/4 the storage capacity). It's fast and furious and I am so happy I bought it.

I was looking to buy a windows based machine that was as sleek as an Apple based product that was a 2in1 touch screen. I updated the operating software at the start and then added the rest of the programs.it loaded smoothly without any problems. I like that you can turn on and of the backlite keypad.
