Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the Spectre x360's lightweight design, impressive battery life, and strong performance, particularly praising the speed of its solid-state drive. Many appreciate its compact size and the convenience of the touchscreen. While some users mention that the device can get warm during intensive use and that the fan can be noticeable at times, the positive feedback on its portability and elegant design outweighs these concerns for most buyers.

This is an outstanding laptop. You will see some reviews around problems with the fan, etc. This issue did exist for me for the first few days. But with the BIOS and Windows 10 Anniversary Edition updates these problems are not at issue. I'm seeing good battery life and minimal cooling issues. All the positive aspects you'll read about this laptop are true. Create performance and usability in a small light package. Don't hesitate!

No doubt it is the best 13 inch laptop on the market at the moment.... Dell XPS maybe close but it is way more expensive.... Buy it now!!!

I needed a new computer for nursing school and was really not excited to spend this much money on a new one. However, my sales tech at Best Buy was very patient with my indecision and did not pressure me to buy. We talked for about an hour on whether or not my Surface Pro 3 would work for me or if I should upgrade to the HP x360. I have to say I'm so happy I decided to make the purchase. I love the keyboard and the display and the i7 processor keeps up with all the different programs I'm running for school at once.

I bought this since I have a consulting job and have to travel a lot and needed a lightweight efficient laptop. This laptop is excellent on that front. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because sometimes the fan of the laptop makes a lot of noise. The laptop specs are pretty powerful and I mostly do light work on power point or web and I don't see how that would overload the processor so much.

This little thing really performs! I have the Adobe suite and can run Photoshop, illustrator and multiple browsers without much strain at all. I currently do not do heavy video editing so I don't know how that would perform. I have it hooked up to a display adapter that can run 2 - 32 inch displays. The only thing I don't like, that is really unavailable in any laptop of this caliber is universal USB C charging. Although it does seem to charge on my phone charger when it is in sleep mode.. but very slowly.

I wanted an Ultrabook to replace my aging Yoga 13 (first gen) that I could also use for development. Very happy with the purchase so far: this machine is able to handle Visual Studio without a hitch and Hyper-V runs remarkably well despite the processor being only dual core. If i have to nitpick on a few of things, I would have liked the option for a 4k screen and a precision touchpad. Most of the time the pc runs cool and with the fan off, but it does get hot a times when there's a sustained load.

I've always been a Dell fan and I had my eyes on Dell's 2 in 1 XPS but the price on this Spectre is better than Dell's. This laptop has a full 7th gen i7 cpu compared to Dell's mobile i7. Some people have complained about this laptop getting hot but it is because of the cpu running at a higher speed. I've had this laptop for almost a week now and was able to watch 2 movies while on battery. The Dell XPS may have a better bezel but I like the performance of the cpu on this laptop more.

With 2 high school age kids, and working from home, it’s not uncommon for everyone to need a computer at the same time. I already have a 17” laptop (HP Envy) and a 15” laptop (Dell XPS 15), so I wanted to add a 13” laptop to my collection for ultimate portability. I looked at several of the players in the 13” arena, and after doing extensive research, settled on the Spectre x360. Pros: -compact -stylish (really a nice-looking piece of equipment) -good battery life -Windows Hello friendly webcam (kind of a neat thing, and not all laptop webcams can support this feature) -powerful (latest i7 Kaby Lake processor offers a bit of a performance boost, but don’t expect to see a huge difference from current version) -fast and plentiful storage (512 GB PCIe SSD) -good sound (quad speakers are really good for a 13” laptop, but of course don’t expect audiophile level sound) -convertible to tablet (not a huge deal to me, but could be a big deal to some) -several different viewing angles (surprisingly useful) -nice included sleeve (a small thing, but usually something you have to buy) Cons: -fairly limited ports (only 1 traditional USB port, no HDMI port, and no card reader port could be a problem if you need to connect lots of devices or like to pop your camera’s card directly into your laptop) -can run a little hot until you do a Bios update (download a free app to monitor temps, there are several good ones) -a bit pricey (but not when compared to its most likely competitors, the MacBook Pro or the Dell XPS 13) -no QHD screen option (your needs may be different, but I actually looked at this as a positive, since I’ve heard so many stories about scaling issues, or icon so small you need a magnifying glass to read them) Overall I highly recommend.

This little laptop can handle several apps running at the same time including heavy lifters like Photoshop and Illustrator. Frustrated with Bluetooth going to sleep randomly and losing mouse and keyboard control but it only happens roughly once a week and I could switch to wireless USB I was just trying to save the port for other uses.
