Sucked really bad Touchpad didn't work
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this as an open box item and the touchpad didn't work at all and Geek squad determine it to have a fried motherboard from overcharging which upon me receiving it it never work to begin with. Bestbuy did return my money and was helpful all the way of me getting another computer and making it right

Power button is flawed
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When it works, it’s great! I’ve had it in to be repaired twice and I need to take it back in AGAIN!! The power button disconnects so it can’t be turned on. The button is on a corner- which is stupid to begin with. And it’s constantly disconnected. I’d buy one again...if they moved the power button literally anywhere but the corner! Everything else about it is great...when you can turn it in.

GREAT LAPTOP!!!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is by far the best laptop I have ever owned and used. The design is amazing, the device looks luxurious and delivers an amazing powerhouse of performance while keeping the slimmest profile. I am very satisfied with the performance of the new i7 8565 processor, and the combination of the 16gb of ram make this device unstoppable in the means of handling any task I throw at it. The 4K display is quite beautiful, and does not drain the battery as I had expected it to. The bright and crisp screen is great for long periods of use. (and the touch screen is nice too!) Another one of my favorite features of this new device is the overall portability of it, the weight is so light it feels lighter than an ipad. The build quality is better than apple in my opinion, with very sturdy frame and hinges. If anyone was to ask me I would highly recommend this HP!!!

Blazing fast, beautiful screen, great keyboard
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The keyboard was by far the most surprisingly good thing, given that I've always been a sucker for Lenovo keyboards. Very solid and clicky feel. The arrow keys are a bit odd in that the left & right are a different size than up/down, but you'll adjust. The backlighting is very nice as well. The screen is excellent with great viewing angles. The metal frame around the laptop feels very nice and as such the whole case has very minimal flex. My only real complaint is both USB-C (Thunderbolt 3) ports are on the right side with only a single USB-A on the left side. Also, no ethernet and no adapter included in the box like some manufacturers do, though Ethernet isn't as necessary anymore. There's no disk activity light, though the power button lights up when it's powered on and there's an LED next to one of the USB ports that signifies when it's charging. Overall, I knocked one star off for lack of Ethernet, port placement, and the fact that it came with BitLocker enabled despite it being Windows 10 Home (Bitlocker & secure boot make installing Linux a pain).

Best 13” laptop out there - Love Love Love
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I first purchased a 13 inch MacBook Pro Touchbar and IMMEDIATELY had issues. The T2 chip was a PITA. Also the quality of the screen is overrated. Returned it and got the HP specter 360, I feel this is a better buy, faster, gorgeous 4k screen. At half the price I got my moneys worth I’ve had zero issues love the size cannot go wrong with this laptop.

They took a great laptop and made it better
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will start by saying that I have owned the Spectre x360 13 late 2017 model with almost the same specs (i7/16GB/512GB disk, only 19x10 screen) since Black Friday 2017. I ran across the newer one when looking up battery life for a friend to make a laptop recommendation this week, when I saw an impossible price for the 2019 version of the x360. (Best Buy had it on sale, probably a mistake, for $1049.) When I saw the impossible price, since corrected, I bought it on the spot. What I didn't like about my late 2017 model was the positioning of the fingerprint reader on the side, which is now on the palm rest where it belongs. I really like the repositioning of the power button and physical on/off switch for the camera. The 2019 model also has a 4k screen, which is a major bonus, even though I don't really need it. I have yet to really test out the battery life, but all the reviews say it's even better than on the older model, so I'm super stoked about that, as I sometimes go days in between charging my older one. I think I like the feel of the newer model's keyboard slightly better, but that may just be me being giddy over the newer device. Did I mention it's gorgeous? I love my silver late 2017, but the 2019 in blue and gold is just riviting.

looks good but that's about it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.about a month ago i purchased the hp spectre 13. i was expecting a high quality product. after a while of using, i noticed the battery life was very poor. i would get 2 hours maybe 3 hours. i even had the settings at best battery mode. Another issue was the baclit key illumination was uneven. some keys were very bright and some were not quite. finally the fan would turn on even while doing simple tasks like surfing the web.

Its a Lemon!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had trouble with the unit not holding a charge. Had it repaired twice by Geek Squad. Had to replace the mother board twice due to power issues. I expected much better reliability from HP and such a pricey laptop. Also HP support wanted over $500. to fix unit and provide a warranty, when they should have given me a brand new replacement unit.

DO NOT BUY
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start by saying I love HP, I bought this computer because of brand loyalty... DO NOT BUY THIS COMPUTER. 13 months old and the mother board is TOAST. I have a paperweight that costs a grand!! I got the warranty, after a year all is well why would I extend? Apparently, I should have done more research because 13-16 mo the mother board dies. Want to know why this has almost 5 stars, because it is GREAT until it is a paperweight (just after your warranty is up). SKIPTHIS

Poor Quality HP
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had two of these units in the past few days, the first one had a bad speaker (top left one) and the second one going back today, the screen has lines running through it. Done playing around with these overpriced laptops.

find a better laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought my spectre 360 at end 2016. It eats batteries! It works great as a desktop, while plugged in and charging but don't get too far away from a plug. Next time, I will buy something other than HP.
