I was looking for a lap top with a larger screen that would be good to travel with and would also function as a tablet in tight spaces like airplanes. The Spectre has a really nice resolution screen and has been easy to travel with and durable so far. The weight is great given the size of the screen and the battery life has been excellent, especially if you reduce screen brightness. The only thing I would change would be to reduce the size of the pad, but I have gotten used to that.

I wanted a lighter 15inch screen laptop and this was the best option. Its light, powerful, and fast. No complaints at all!

Outstanding graphics and monitor resolution. The 2-in-1 feature is really helpful and easy to use. It's not quite a tablet, but fold it over and you wouldn't know the difference. I love the mouse function too. I was dreading losing my desk-top mouse, but this was an easy transition. I'm really pleased with everything about it.

Nice laptop perfect design. Good performance. Fast and reliable. When you touch the machine, you feel the quality. Amaizing.

Nicely executed design. Screen sharp and bright. Keyboard has a nice feel and there is minimal junk ware preinstalled.

I have truly enjoyed using this computer. Easy to use as a tablet. Great touch screen and to use for presentations.

hooked up to a second monitor using hdmi cable, when i removed the hdmi and went back to using 1 monitor the sound would no longer come out of the computer speakers, even the guys at best buy couldnt get them working again. so i exchanged it for another, and the same thing happened again,no sound, used the hp total care and updated everything still didnt work, computer found a problem with the generic audio driver , but was unable to fix the issue, so i took it back for a refund, i suggest hooking yours up to hdmi and then unhooking it and checking the sound as soon as you get it home, if you must buy one of these paper weights! p.s. i replaced it with the dell inspiron 15 for 999.99 and it is much better!

This is my first HP laptop and I'm very pleased with the performance and it's so much lighter than my DellXPS!!

I decided to try a solid state hard drive system, upgrading from an HP Envy15t. The equipment has been as advertised and promoted by Best Buy staff. The system has performed beautifully, with improved start-up time and service. The hard drive capacity is relatively small, though I spent an extra $100 to get a portable Samsung SSD hard drive which has worked well. I will monitor the true battery life as I use the Spectre to see if it performs as advertised.

The screen size on this laptop makes it easy to multitask using split screen. The resolution is amazing for seeing all the little details when manipulating pictures using a high powered camera with over 12M cameras. As far as using it as a tablet, it's a little large. The smaller screen version would probably be better if you're not planning on being stationary with it. Boots and loads programs very quickly, no issues with crashing at all, even with split screen.

I am loving this so far! I love the different positions I can use. It's very light too! Easy to carry!

This computer has everything I wanted. It's lightweight, powerful, good looking and easy to operate.
