I am not a fan of windows 10, wish it was the older version of windows - this is taking a lot of getting used to. But so far so good, at times it seems to run slower than I would have expected for a brand new computer, but it could be due to what I using it for as well.

To start, after I chose this laptop, the Best Buy rep. says you chose wisely. This is considered the best laptop in this store maybe even better than Dell Inspiron top of line XPS. It doesn't overheat, for me and the longest I've used continuously is six hours. I think it's one of the most beautiful laptops. Pretty fast although I haven't downloaded my antivirus yet. Haven't yet had mechanical issues with it as some others are on their second or third Spectre. Enjoy the feel of keys and mouse pad. This is my first laptop.

I read countless reviews of many laptops before deciding on this one and I couldn't be more pleased with my choice. My laptop is my lifeline for two jobs as well as personal use. This model is lightweight, yet with a large screen and fantastic clarity. I love the touchscreen features, which I didn't expect to use nearly as much as I do. Even the flexibility to fold it into a tablet has been much more useful than I anticipated it to be. The battery life is solid as well. I have no complaints. I love it!

Im a medical student so I'm always on the go and I love the fact that this folds up so I can take ot with me anywhere as either a tablet or a laptop. I prop it up to study with the touch screen facing me resting on the keyboard, then to go take a break or need to do is put the screen down and it's a tablet that I can just walk around with. Then when I need to I can flip it around to a laptop and take notes. It is fast and can handle the multiple windows I put up everyday but yet light enough to carry around. I have had the 360 for five weeks now and it has yet to let me down

I read many reviews of this laptop and after looking at different prices, I found that Best Buy had the exact same price as the best online price. I rushed to Best Buy and I ended up getting $50.00 off the price. What a great surprise. The laptop is great. Fast and great for my needs. The only thing I dislike is Windows 10. I was so used to pre-Windows 10 systems. I don't like all those tiles on the desktop. I miss the old desktop and I can't find any free programs online to give me back the old desktop. Other than that, great laptop bought from a great store.

Excellent 15" laptop

This is an excellent 15" laptop. It's speed is absolutely amazing in comparison to my home desktop. The 4K display, 16GB memory and SSD make this an outstanding machine. The deciding factor in buying the Spectre was its aluminum case. All of the other 15" laptops with comparable power had plastic cases (flimsy) which felt cheap.

Extremely light-weight and fast as heck. Not crazy about Win10 so I use a product called "Start10". Makes it look like Windows 7 desktop.

My wife had a 13", and it drove me crazy. Then I figured out how reset some of the touchpad options. With that reassurance I went ahead and got this 15" to replace my dying 2009 MacBook Pro. I use Windows other places, so it hadn't been anything new to learn there. But getting all my stuff off the Mac snd moving to other programs was challenging. Still is! Did you know that the Adobe Creative Suite shows up trendy weensy on the screen? I think I found a workaround for that. Otherwise, once I've got all the switchover figured out, I think it's going to work quite well. I certainly haven't seen anything I'd trade it for out there. I was pleasantly surprised to get a reasonably small power cord with it instead of those crazy double-cord styles that kill so much room in a computer bag. Kudos for that!

I needed a lighter weight computer without reducing size. I manage two offices and travel between them. The flexible hinge is great because I often need to push it back for better visibility. The clarity of the display is excellent. But HP got cheap on the power cord. It's too short and the wall plug is easily jostled out of the socket. It's important because the battery life is not as good as rated. Enjoy it but stay plugged in and have an extension cord handy.

I reviewed and researched many many laptops before deciding on the 15" Spectre 360...I'm using this for general home use and I am just getting into photo editing. When going thru reviews on many sites including Consumer Reports, it came down to this or the MacBook Pro. I decided on this over the Mac due to getting more bang for the buck...15" 4k Res is crystal clear and amazing, 16gb RAM and 256 s/s drive is fast and plenty of space as I store most of my photos on the cloud, love the the ability to turn it around and use like a tablet - at 15" its a little big for that usage, but it's great for displaying images to others and you can turn the laptop to display vertical or landscape images in awesome resolution! ...All in all I am VERY happy with my purchase!
So why only 4 stars??
- B&O sound is disappointing...altho a very small % of my decision was based on audio, B&O was supposed to be an upgrade from Beats, but they don't sound to me any better than any other basic laptop speakers...literally my older Ipad3 produces far better sound from its single speaker.
- WLAN driver issues...I could not understand why my home internet was soooooooooooo slow (from 18mps to .5mps) on every device in the house once I connected with this laptop. For days I thought it was an issue w/ my ISP. Tech came out and replaced modem TWICE and no resolution...eventually we narrowed it down to once I disconnected my NEW laptop from wireless my internet speed jumped back up...I researched this and it's a known WLAN driver issue that for some reason did not automatically update w/ my initial boot. I have since updated drivers and my internet speeds are back to normal.
Overall, I LOVE this laptop...my issues are far outweighed by the pros! Thanks HP and thanks Best Buy for price matching...I got a smokin' deal!

This was my wife's first laptop and she loves it. The 4K display is beautiful and it starts up quicker than any computer I've ever seen. Definitely a role model of what all future laptops should have as stock features including the touchscreen display and 2 in 1 flexibility of being a laptop but still flat and light enough to become a tablet. Best of both worlds.

Probably the most beautiful laptop I've ever seen, albeit a little expensive. It is thin and light without seeming fragile, the keyboard has a nice feel to the keys, and the touchpad is nice and large. So far, so good. Performance is great with the SSD and fast CPU. A protective neoprene sleeve is included, which is a nice touch. The Spectre branding after the 007 movie is a little hokey, but don't let that detract you from the quality of this laptop.

I recently upgraded to this from a 17" Dell XPS that was a few years old. After messing around with this laptop in the store, I was set on it. The HP Spectre x360 15.6" has an extremely elegant look to it, and has almost all of the hardware to backup its great looks. It's Extremely light for it's size, and packs a punch as far as speed, at least compared to my old laptop. Overall a great product and I would recommend this to anyone in the market for a 2-in-1.

This is the first laptop I've ever purchased so I went a little 'big'. I do kinda wish I had bought the smaller one (13') but I do love the 15' screen, just not a fan of lugging it around (I'm a law school student so...). My only complaint is that it isn't all that easy to open. But the screen is super responsive to touch and for the size it's actually super light. I'm still getting used to the operating system but so far i'm loving it!

I purchased the HP Spectre x360 2-in-1 Convertible Laptop to provide a good platform for home use that can travel also. Mostly use the device with attached monitor and keyboard, and it provides excellent service as a "desktop" device. When I travel the device is light and easy to carry, sometimes in a backpack on a bicycle. In laptop mode the screen if very clear and large enough for easy reading. The laptop keyboard is adequate and use-able.
I do not sweat the issues wrt to the highest performance on all the metrics, the computer give solid capabilities for the day to day tasks in a light easy to carry form factor.
Would be nice it a docking station was available which allowed easy transition from desktop to travel, that that is a drawback.
