I can tell you that I carefully researched,bought,and returned numerous laptops. HP Spectre was the best overall. Quiet. You want SSD drive. Unless you need a ton of memory 256gb is fine. Best looking keys,fast,great sound. 4k display is awesome. I bought the Lenovo yoga,HP Envy,Acer. All similar on paper but you will not be disappointed. Go with this. Oh one other note. To be able to use as a tablet. So light. No moving parts. No fan. Again amazing!

It is very light and easy to use. The keyboard has large keys, and the screen is very clear - great pictures.

My first HP laptop, used Dells in the past. Great setup, easy to config. Display and speed are outstanding.

The HP Spectre is a great laptop. I use it primarily in my home office. Nice picture, sound, and keyboard. The only drawback is the keyboard can be difficult to see with the backlit function enabled (light keyboard plus backlight equates to poor visibility). With the backlit function off, the keys are easy to see. Good tactile feel to the keys as well.

Sleek design, light weight. Has everything I was Looking for at a much more reasonable price than an IBook.

This is a great lightweight laptop the touch screen is awesome. The kids love it for their games as well.

Bought this for my wife, who needed a high quality screen so her eyes wouldn't get tired (replaced a seven year old Dell laptop). We had initial issues with screen flickering and returned the first one - Geek Squad was awesome with the return - but continued to have issues with flickering. After some research, and further conversation with Geek Squad, we realized that during installation - although we told it not do this - the machine had installed McAfee virus protection, which was conflicting with Windows Virus software and fritzing out the system. Then I updated the network and video drivers (which I read in an online forum) to the current versions and the problems were solved. Now it runs very well. Battery life is excellent, it is solidly built, and is quite light.

It is lighter than my 6 year old notebook. I love that it doubles as a tablet making reading articles, etc. very easy, comfortable. Occasionally the touch pad misbehaves but a restart clears that up. I enjoy using this machine anywhere. Traditionally I have docked my notebook feeling more comfortable with a larger screen and wireless mouse/keyboard. The long battery life makes it easy to take this with you throughout the day.

HP has really improved their product line. Great price/performance level in a remarkably light package

Large screen,excellent optics, lightweight, touch screen and easy to use. 2 in 1 is very versatile.

We primarily use it as a desktop replacement and it works great for that. Occasional mobile use around the house is great as well. Easy to move around, light, crisp screen. Generally nice to use. Only reason I took off a star is that Win 10 bogs down sometimes, especially when using several apps at once. I was using Quicken, TurboTax, Chrome and Excel this weekend to do my taxes and the laptop struggled at times.

Bought this laptop mainly to edit photos and videos. The screen looks nice and it is fast for normal processes. The 4k screen, however, makes editing in Lightroom laggy as it needs more time to render the images. Video editing is okay but it's definitely not as fast as a desktop. If I know Lightroom will be laggy for image editing with 4k screen, I might have bought another laptop. Otherwise this is a great laptop.

This laptop is fast, light and powerful. It handles programs with ease. Would recommend it.

After consulting with the Best Buy rep, I agreed that this is one of the best values out there for a new 2 in 1 lightweight laptop. The 4K HD graphics are incredible. The only negative so far is that it is downloading slower than my old HP laptop, not sure why. It might have something to do with poor internet at home, I'm in process of upgrading that service which will hopefully cure the problem.

Fast PC and while expensive, you get a lot for price
