I bought this for myself to see if it would make a good Xmas gift. I have been very pleased so far. Easy to use, photo quality not great but good, paper very reasonably priced. I have pictures of my grandson, my great niece, my sister, and have given these away to family who were very impressed. They all want one now. Found my Xmas gifts.

It’s okay, not the best as other reviewers I seen on this item. The design looks awesome then other ones I seen out there however I not sure if it’s the zink zero film that came with it but them images come out fuzzy. And I see good reviews here and in amazon also YouTube. I ordered some LG zink zero ink film to see if it’s the film or the HP sprocket. I saw that I have a 1 yaer warranty and I purchase a 2 years warranty as also there’s a white line that appears on the pictures I’ll upload do pictures

I bought this particular sprocket because it looked most appealing to me. I had heard good reviews & such, but was not prepared for the terrible quality that it offered. I tried to troubleshoot the issues I was having, but nothing got better. Don't get me wrong, the quality of the detail in these teeny prints is great..but the color is TERRIBLE! They do look "vintage" but that's not what I'm looking for. *each of the pictures that I provided were supposed to be very vibrant. I even edited them in the Sprocket app to reflect as such.

It was very easy to download the app to my phone. It has different frames and stickers to use. Also, different filters for your pictures. I used a pic collage app to combine my pics and sent them to the sprocket app to print.

I wanted instant prints for a photo journal. Today everything is on line, in social media & photo albums are all but gone. On the other hand grandma's photo albums or mom's scrap books are bulky. To me Photo journaling maybe a good compromise. Hp Sprocket is great for that purpose. Small, easily fits into a purse. Now as far as quality of the prints: I want to preface by saying that I am yet to take a digital pic that did not need to be tweaked or edited for one reason or another. In reading Sprocket reviews other owners stated that prints are somewhat matted, reds lean towards brow and whites have a slight tint. That is accurate. Knowing what to expect, I use photo editors (the one provided by Sprocket or any other I may prefer) to routinely "brighten" and boost up colors of the images I plan to print on Sprocket . The resulting images do not have the vibrancy you would see in your smartphone, but they have that soft quality that fits with journaling. The setup was easy. It works off your Bluetooth. Manual not included in the box but easily Googled on line. Photo paper is easy to load: it is stacked correctly in the packet with glossy side up and blue configuration card on the bottom. Printer cover slides off, paper is loaded, cover replaced and long press on the side button gets printer started. Remember to bind phone and printer via Bluetooth and to turn on bluetooth on your phone each time you are printing. When reviewing an item its important to know what it does how it does it and if it fits with what you need it for. In isolated cases you would see negative reviews because of mechanical issues, but a lot of times review is negative because the item's specifications from the start did not fit in with the purpose someone got it for. If you expect Sprocket to produce studio quality prints-you would be disappointed. If you are looking for small prints that illustrate a story of where you've been and what you've done, selfies etc- Sprocket is vey nice for that purpose.

I bought these for my girls for Christmas, and they LOVE them. This is a photo printer to use with any smartphone. There's no ink to buy, just the special paper that prints out in amazing quality. It's simple to use, just get the app and sync it via Bluetooth to your phone. The app also has some neat photo editing features to make those special photos even better! The actual printer itself is small enough to take on the go. Very thin and lightweight. It was a hit with my entire family.

This little gadget prints great pictures from my kids I phones. It is like having a Kodak instant camera with the ability to edit photos via software and apps before printing. Very compact and easy to use even the youngest member of the family has been able to utilize it. No special training is needed. Great addition to a family that takes lots of photos.

I wanted a small photo printer for my travel journaling and saw this HP. I also saw the updated version that printed 30% larger photos, I couldn’t decide which I wanted and ordered both to find out which is better for me. They both had the Zink printing paper with the sticker back and augmented reality capability. They both print just ok as far as quality. I needed to tweak the photos in edit before printing to get closer to the original photo. I noticed highlights were blown out and some were pretty grainy. I figured the smaller the photo the least noticeable the negatives would stand out. The difference was the cost of the unit and the paper as well as the size. Depending on the need/use I’d recommend the Sprocket and the smaller/older model over the Plus because of cost and ease of finding the paper compatible. (The Plus does not allow use of the smaller zink paper)

This portable printer is so easy to use. You just download the app and connect via bluetooth...you can easily download the user's guide if needed. The print quality does falter a little when you are printing one picture after another, but I think it comes down to picture quality, higher pixels = better print.

Truth be told, I love this printer when it works! Currently it isn't working if you have ios 11.2 ... it's been a nightmare as HP has yet to update their firmware. Many are having issues with this so your printer will just be an expensive decoration until they do an update. However, when it did work before their firmware update, the picture quality is great and in their app, you can edit your photo before printing. It is very user friendly. I get addicted to printing photos and changing the filters or adding cute stickers to it. As of right now I can't use it with my iphone 8 but I can send the photo to my old ipod and print from there. If you have a computer with bluetooth, you can use that as well. This printer also charges quickly and is lightweight to carry around with you.

My wife found this product on a web site that had the best Christmas gifts for teens. So we read the great reviews and got it for her. It is a fantastic product! Easy to set up, even easier to use, and comes with really cool gallery options to add a lot of enhancements to the photos. The picture quality is shockingly vibrant and the sticker backed photo papers make it easy to print and stick on the go with they're friends. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to print out small photos on the fly without a PC or printer. Great product!

I received the HP Sprocket as a gift and it’s by far my most used mobile accessorie ever. I work in retail and knew of the Sprocket but never really thought it more than a photo gimmick, especially with quality. I am very pleased to say it shot way above my expectations. Photo quality itself isn’t going to be the best, it is using Zink instead of ink after all. Considering it’s a pocket sized printer it gets the job done. One of the best features is the embedded Reveal. Once a photo is printed, you (or a friend/family member if they have access) could scan the photo and get some great information like where it was taken and explore the area with street view or flyover, some little facts about the place and it’ll show you other photos taken there. Another neat feature is printing layouts, you can have a photo take up 1, 4, or 9 sheets of the Zink paper so you’re not completely stuck with 2”x3” prints. But be sure to stock up on Zink paper, you’ll use more than you realize and at full retail prices it can add up so if you see any on sale, even just the 20 pack, get a few so you can fill up for a few months. Another downfall is the battery life, on average I get 12-15 prints per charge. Being indecisive and changing what I want to print, setting the printer to turn off automatically after 1 minute is a good way to save battery but that’s going to be all you can do to help so be sure to have a power source handy if you plan on printing quite a few at a party. Overall I love my Sprocket and would recommend it for just about anyone that’s sentimental.
