Just bought this laptop back in July of this year. I really liked it at the beginning. I only used this laptop for general web surfing, etc. A few weeks ago, keys started to fall off the keyboard. Now, the laptop no longer works. I took it to Geek Squad and they said that it was a hardware issue. Three months and I already have a useless laptop? I wouldn't recommend. Like other reviews have stated, it is extremely slow. Save your money and buy another computer.

Piece of Junk, Bad Windows Version

First of all, after opening it... it doesn't let you install your own programs. It's a version of windows called Windows 10 S. The S stands for Safe and you can only install apps from the App Store. It's absolutely crazy I tried everything they make it very difficult to change from Safe version to regular version it said something about needing a CDKEY. What's the point of Windows if you can't install your own Apps. So I tried installing my own Windows 10 Pro from a USB that I've used on 7 other machines without a problem and the BIOS wouldn't let me. Also... before I even tried that... windows stopped loading after I tried shutting S mode off. And all I did was click the "Learn How" button... the computer froze and then it no longer started up. Terrible windows version, I would never use a Safe version, how the Heck am I supposed to download my own games and such? Totally useless.

HP has been faithful to our family but this Stream is terrible. I can't download Chrome, can't manage add-ons, and it is SUPER slow. I don't mind slow but SUPER slow I can't take. Returning it first thing tomorrow.
