I just needed a laptop for our home computer. This one was very cost effective and does everything I need it to. Not much storage but for what we use it for, it is perfect. I love the touchscreen and it is very easy to use. It is compact and will be easy to fit in my bag. Love it so far! I even went back and bought one for my son in college.

I love this 13.6" laptop so far. It works flawlessly and a GREAT DEAL for $199. You can't find many Touchscreen laptops for this low price....well worth the money. Best for Internet and light computing. I like it better than my Samsung tablet because of the attached keyboard.

First it must be recognized that this is a budget laptop so it is limited in what you can do with it. The Intel Celeron chip itself will limit what you can do on the laptop. If all you will ever do with it is e-mail and web surfing with some occasional video streaming then this laptop probably will suffice. It comes with Microsoft Office 365 for a year; after that period then you will have to pay the annual subscription fee. Limitation of the Office 365 is that you will need to be connected via wifi (internet) to use it. So unless you are online, it is basically a useless program. So I bought and install a full version of Microsoft Office instead. This is where the limitations of the laptop of this ilk really shows itself. The laptop comes with a 32 GB solid state drive hard drive. In reality, you only get 24 GB of storage due to the operating system and other junk ware that it comes with. After installing Norton antivirus and the full version of Microsoft Office, useable hard drive memory dropped to approximately 3GB. And after downloading and installing all latest Norton and Microsoft updates (Win 8.1 and Office), remaining useable hard drive memory remaining was less than 1 GB. This does not offer much hard drive memory for future software updates to ensure latest security updates for the antivirus and Office suite. Not to mention that when Win 10 comes out, you are out of luck in upgrading since to do so, you'll need at least 10 GB of available hard drive space. So, if your only usage will be limited to web-mail, and web surfing, and you don't ever intend on upgrading any of your software and operating system, then this laptop may work for you. Otherwise, don't bother.

This is exactly what i was looking for. If you just shop online,emails and surf the web, this is a great computer for you. I watch movies too and the battery life is great. Good size too , not too big not too small.

I bought this computer so my kids would stop fighting to use my computer. It's small but has enough size and speed for them to watch movies and I get to stop hearing screaming as I kick them off my computer at night.

I love this computer and am even considering buying another one. The price is great, quality is great. Love the touch screen. KNOW 2 things (1) you MUST buy a microdisk to go in it to really do anything. The storage is so little you cannot add anything on to the computer with the Micro SD card--> great! (2) I wanted WIndows 10 and (due to space restrictions) had to use a external drive to load (probably could have used the microSD but just recently thought it add it. This will SAVE you TIME!!

I really love this laptop. It's touch screen which is so nice but also has a traditizonal keyboard. It was affordable and so far totally easy to work and use!

My 11-yr. old had been begging for his own computer. We first saw this one at an office supply store while shopping for school supplies. I was really impressed with the size, quality and most of all, the reasonable price. We went straight to Best Buy and ended up purchasing the version with the touch screen capability for approximately $30 more. Well worth the money for a young student! He loves it.

Storage capacity is low (32Gb) but over all for under $300 you're getting a decent laptop with good battery life (for a laptop) in a light weight form factor.

I bought this for my wife due to the color and the touch screen, Both are nice. Only issue would be with the amount of memory. There isn't enough to do the windows 10 update without installing a flash drive.

Hp stream is for student. lightweight and easy to bring everywhere. Super fast and slim and have a longlife battery.the prize is affordable love it. yes i will recommend

We needed a compact laptop for our daughter to use for correspondence school. This works so well, the touch screen integration is simply brilliant - I can't wait until apple start making touch screen laptops. In he meantime, this has been very useful. After we realized how great it was we went back for another one - my wife decided she needed one as well. Very happy with this purchase.

Santa got this pc for my 10 year old for her first pc. Everything is working great at fast speeds. Touch screen works great as well. Wish the hard drive was larger but at this price I'm very satisfied.

I needed a small, sleek laptop that I could easily open to show clients documents and power point presentations. The HP Stream works great for that. Boots up quickly. It also came with Office 365 for a year which was the tipping point for me. I wish it had a larger hard drive for storage and was available in gray or black but for what I need it for, it's fine.

I use this for school and works well, not the fastest but gets the job done. Good for research and writing papers. Also the touch screen feature is awesome. Worth the money, just not a lot of memory.

Bought it for our daughterstudents 13th birthday. Great for her 1st laptop no to over powerful in product or price. She loves it and her touch screen color as well. No complaints or problems.

This laptop is great for the price point and will not break the bank. IF your looking for a laptop for a student or for just using it to type and surf the Internet then this is the best laptop out there for you.I recommend not saving to much stuff on the internal storage and using a external hard drive. Keyboard is very reponsive and I'm very pleased with this laptop.

I bought this laptop to replace an old dinosaur for my mother. She is a Face Book enthusiast and needed something portable. For the price you cant beat it! Does everything she needs and more! PERFECT for her! Would buy another in a heartbeat!
