This computer is light, easy to carry around for multiple classes an perfect for beginner. Also price was super! Geek squad was great getting it set up an helping granddaughter get started.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS. ITS LIGHTWEIGHT AND GETS THE JOB DONE.GREAT FOR STUDENTS . LOVE THE BRIGHT BLUE COLOR AND WHITE KEYBOARD! GREAT SOUND AND LOVE THAT ITS A TOUCH SCREEN AS WELL. ALMOST LIKE A TABLET.

I bought this for the hubby. He loved it! The price is perfect and the size and weight as well.

Although this computer has low memory. It does not work well with Windows 10. This laptop is only good for checking email and online shopping. For students this is a great laptop since you will receive some free cloud storage of 1TB with one drive. If you save everything in the cloud you can smile proud. If you save on the hard drive then you will frown. Need more storage use the Google Drive and stick to web based software.

If your looking for a decent little laptop this will do the job just fine. The speed is pretty good but personally I don't like this version of windows. One major downfall is not having a cd rom drive and not much internal memory. I mainly use it for work using email and Microsoft Office so it does what I need it to do. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for something to do gaming..It does ok on small fb games but on graphic heavy games it really slows down, heats up and lags. Overll it does fine for me.

I bought this for my young daughter for her birthday. Seems to fit the bill quite nicely. The blue finish and the touchscreen are a big plus. Battery life is also good.

I bought this HP Stream because I travel a lot and I was tired of the extra weight. I am impressed with the speed and ease of use. I have recommended this to others.

I'm a college student & bought this after my old laptop died out on me. I wasn't expecting too much since it was so cheaply priced. But I'm so impressed. I've had absolutely no problems with it whatsoever. Not only is this laptop extremely low priced, but it's such an impressive computer. The Stream's design is aesthetically pleasing, the touch screen is such a nice add on, and the start up & shut down time is extremely quick. I like the layout of the keyboard & the battery life is very long, even when I'm streaming movies, etc. Totally worth the price. If anything, I would comment that the speakers aren't the greatest. They aren't bad, but the even at max volume, it's not very loud. But other than that, it's a fantastic product.

Love the touch screen love the speed love the color

Honestly the color of the laptop is what really caught my eyes. It's just so pretty. I also love the fact it's a touch screen and Hp is a pretty good product.

First off i really love its touch screen capability, the weight of the laptop is very leight, the screen size is perfect and it has all the apps you would need to get started on multiple projects. Now weather your a beginner or a pro this laptop is great. And the best part about it is it is extremely affordable.

Beautiful PC for a middle school kid.This little PC works great. It has excellent touch features which make it easy to use. It is relatively fast for a small computer but it easily does the job. Perfect for school projects and the things that kids love to do. Search the Internet fast. Excellent little laptop!

I purchased this HP Stream after looking at many budget netbooks including chromebooks. I had an acer 11 chromebook and loved that but returned it for a different unrelated item. The stream was intriguing due in large part to its touchscreen and sleek looks. I brought it home and fired it up and was up and running fairly quickly...for a windows device. The first issue was the advertised upgrade to Windows 10...with no space to actually upgrade. I had an extra microsd so that wasn't huge. However I then ran into errors trying to upgrade. So I stayed on 8.1. After the shaky beginning things got better. I could use full apps and everything seemed pretty smooth with an occasional stutter. After about 2 weeks or so though I noticed that if the stream went into sleep it would disrupt the touchpad. When I woke it up the cursor would zoom all over the screen and highlighted whatever it wanted. I was using it for school so this terrified me because I was nervous about losing my essays. I returned it shortly after. Most likely it was just mine so that's why the 3 stars. The touchscreen made things easier and was pretty accurate. I used it heavily and my friends were impressed considering what I paid for it. Give it a try at the very least. Hope this review helps.

I purchased this Laptop for my 9 year old Daughter and she loves it. The color was what made her want it and the price is what got me to buy it.

This is a great laptop. It fits my purposes well and it is very quick. I love the touchscreen feature as well. It is lightweight, compact, and very visually pleasing. Very affordable!

This computer is amazing. To be honest, I was a little nervous at first because the employee at Best Buy tried to sway me a different way on this computer. I understand why, because it doesn't have a lot of room and speed. But my need was to have a very lightweight computer that I could go anywhere and write! I decided to go against his suggestion and order this one. It's perfect, it's "slow enough" that if I do too much online, it bogs down. But this is exactly what I wanted, it forces me to remember WHY I have the computer. Don't get me wrong, it's still great for researching online and I can have a few tabs open without issue. But once in a while, I realize that I'm doing too much and shouldn't be ;) So for a writer on the go, PERFECT option! And it's adorable :)) Love the blue!

We have three of these in my home now, and they are an economical option for students. We knew going in that there was little storage, and as a result the kids save their work on their own flash drive. It solved the immediate need of everyone needing a laptop at the same time without the huge price tag.

This is a great starter laptop for a student! The touch screen gives it a 2 in 1 tablet feel! The price was amazing as well!
