Overall a pretty good laptop, the build's pretty solid though if you do purchase it I recommend you invest in some extra RAM. Another stick will do the trick fine, though we'll see if this bad boy lasts over the year(s). Some hardly ever do.

The Victis is a solid entry range gaming laptop, and there are no major issues with its build quality noticable after ~6 mo of usage. Some cons would be that the trackpad is a little slow-tracking at times (coming from a MacBook), and since the material is polymer (not metal) if you rest your hands on the space left and right of the trackpad it may “click”.

Out of the box and on sale, this is probably the best bang for the buck laptop. Whether you're doing some casual gaming or basic editing, this machine is very capable. I did end up upgrading the ram to the max 32gb which broadens its capabilities. The build quality is what I would expect for something twice the cost. Great deal and great machine overall

This should be 5 stars, but i cant push it there...please read. This product, at the price i paid "480 +tax + a ram upgrade" was actually impressive. For roughly the same price as the steamdeck oled, you get an APU that is generationally similar to a desktop 2060 (4gb), but a 1080p spec machine instead of the 720-900p. The performance is not at all what you might expect from entry level prices, this does what. The image quality, framerate, and diversity of titles it can run well, all impressive minus some standouts like indiana jones which is unfortunately not quite there, still bootable, but you can decide if 20fps is worth it. Lossless scaling makes this package even better, not a feature of the victus, but something that makes laptops like this stay relevant. If you can get it in the 16gb variant or better at under 550, thats the 5 star model. This is NOT, at least at the price its currently listed $800usd

It's alright for everyday tasks, not as great as I was hoping/expecting when it comes to gaming. Handles olde games perfectly, but newer games even on lower graphics quality is a little tough sometimes. Still a decent little system.

My personal honest review. If you need a laptop to game it holds pretty well. Really good for streaming and watching shows. Also the chassis seems sturdy to me. Am more a graphic screen type of guy so you pay for what you pay for.

This thing's a lifesaver for classes, seriously. Super affordable too, which is a huge plus for broke students like me. Does everything I need it to and then some. Definitely recommend checking it out if you're on a budget. Best bang for your buck, hands down.

Works great, especially for its price point, for gaming, web surfing, watching youtube, writing, doing homework, etc.

It is a pretty good laptop. The only thing I didn't like is the bottom cover is really hard to remove for upgrades or cleaning. But overall it is really fast. If you are not into gaming it makes a good laptop for general use at home.

I bought two for my nephews who are studying photography and graphic design, and they've worked without any problems with the graphically demanding programs that are necessary for their school. Not to mention a little fun with video games that run smoothly.

This computer is a much better computer if your intention is to use it for gaming. The gaming memory is higher than the computer I previously purchased, returned, and exchanged for this one. This one didn’t have an issue with playing Robocop Rogue City. Unlike the HP computer I exchanged for this one.

Good for the on sale price under $500 and if you can upgrade the RAM yourself. 8GB RAM leaves it so sluggish as a gaming laptop. With only 4GB VRAM it isn’t the best for any big title game. Will run low settings decent. Runs the less demanding games well on high settings. For the money it’s worth it to start out in PC gaming in general
