First time buying a gaming laptop and its excellent, I would definitely recommend anyone who is wanting to try pc gaming to get this laptop as their first steps into gaming on a laptop.

A good entry-level gaming laptop for my teenager who enjoys gaming but isn’t very experienced would be ideal. It should provide reliable performance without being overly advanced, offering a balance between affordability and capability to meet their needs as they explore gaming further.

Excellent laptop for the price especially if you can get it at open box pricing. Will play most newer games out of the box but I would definitely recommend adding another stick of RAM if you’re going to play more intensive games. 8GB is low for some games but once I got it to 16GB it was so much smoother.

Even though I am not a gamer, I purchased this computer for its streaming capabilities, which have not disappointed. My only complaints is the touchpad - it's very sensitive and I keep making accidental strokes - and the battery life is somewhat short.

Finally had to upgrade from a Lenovo Yoga laptop to this HP Victus gaming laptop. I wanted a Windows 11 (not 11 s-mode), so got this which was on sale. I wanted a laptop with clickable keyboards, good touchpad and speakers which is why I got this gaming laptop instead of a typical office laptop.

It’s a great Mid level gaming laptop. I am able to play the games I like, (Conan Exiles, 7 days to die) with solid frame rates and no issues. Even upgraded the ram and SSD.

This is pretty nice. I mainly use it for work but i will be trying some games on it soon. Alot better then my last laptop.

Very good, budget gaming computer. I play CS2 and the resolution, the graphics card, everything works just fine and with 144hz.

I repair and sell PC + server/enterprise equipemt, with that said not a big fan of HP generally. But this laptops, build quality for the price and offering is hard to pass up. The usual deck flex, woble from screen/screen quality isnt good as most complain about, yes while loud fans those complaining have no idea how loud laptop fans can go, play with an MSI with turboboost going the vicrus is pretry quiet compared to other brands. This laptop if found on sale is great for spare gaming laptop on the go or first time PC gamers, or folks wanting to play esports etc. it plays all the stuff i generally like to play. Upgrade the ram to 16 or 32 and bump the NVME to a 1tb -4tb drive since theres only one slot/space sadly is my only gripe.

I like it. It's faster than my old PC but the battery doesn't seem to hold a charge as long as I expected.

Got this as a going away gift from my brother that left for college. He absolutely loves it and the storage is great.

This laptop is sleek classy and smooth. Good speed not that large a little compact but gotta love that price tag.

Works great, boots fast, does eveything my dad needs it to do. A bit more RAM would make it perfect.

Impossible to add email apps. Not happy with that. Also a popup for extended warranty constantly, very annoying. Also made mistake by not getting one with a cd, dvd drive.

Great with ReignOS/Linux. Use this as a development/gaming PC and it works great. And good price for what it offers.

For the price and the components it comes with, this laptop is a great gift, recommended for playing and working with design programs.
