Overall, I like this phone. Not sure why there is no function for speed dial like on the EVO. The camera has great features, great clarity, but I dislike navigating the setup to use them. Too many sub menus for my tastes, but they do offer neat tricks & changes for photos. Sound is excellent for music. Fast processor & ample memory make for quick installation of apps and plentiful storage.

Upgrade from M7. Screen is bigger, phone is faster and still fits in pocket or purse well. The sound through headphones is fantastic and pictures are clear and detailed.

I bought the HTC One M8 as an upgrade from the previous model, M7. I had decided to go ahead and use the upgrade I had on my Sprint account after a friend recommended the phone to me. While the M7 was a really great phone, the new M8 is certainly an improvement over the M7. The new M8 has a better camera, and runs much more smoothly than the M7. I am very happy with my purchase!

I really love the M8. I love how HTC re-introduced the SD slot, which has brought me all the memory i need in my phone. I also love the overall build quality of this phone. The camera is super clear and takes great photo's and video. Battery life has surprised me as well, as I've managed to go with a full day's worth of use, enter extreme power saver mode and wake up with battery left over. I highly recommend the HTC One M8!

I like the slightly larger screen size and excellent screen color. The camera is great and easy to use. Phone works well.

This phone take some of the best pictures ever. It took a bit to get use to the new settings but other than that long battery life and good features make it a pretty good phone.

be happy with my HTC One m8 phone. It is actually better than advertised! It's sleek design and multiple capabilities put a smile on my face on a regular basis. One my favorite features is the "Do Not Disturb" you can set it for several different lengths of time and it will automatically turn itself off. I use it often, when I'm in meetings or at work. You will be VERY HAPPY when you find out all the things the HTC One M8 can do!

I bought this phone because of the sound and camera capabilities and have not been let down. This phone takes great pictures and I love the option of a split screen where you can take a selfie and simultaneously take a photo of what you're looking at. The music played is great quality and very loud.

Build is top notch and the UI is better for me than plain android. The front facing speakers are one of the best features. I will never buy another phone that doesn't sound this great and loud. The only two negative aspects of the One are; the "ultralpixel" camera. I don't use it often because my Olympus OMD is my main shooter that can transfer pics wirelessly to my phone but i would still like the confidence that my phone would not let me down if i needed it. The other negative is the Youtube app. It is minor (still annoying though) and might not be the One's fault buy when watching a video in full screen the borders that display the back, home on screen buttons on the right and the top quick access bar don't disappear all the time. It cuts off part of the video and won't go back to normal unless the app is closed and opened again. Hopefully this is fixed in an update.

Had needed a new phone for at least six months but didn't want to join the iPhone craze nor the Samsung Galaxy craze so did nothing. Finally I broke down and sent shopping for a new phone. Having purchased my last two phones at BestBuy, that is were I headed. The sales associate was so helpful. He said he understood about my reluctance to join the current crazes and then I asked about the M8. He had all the information and could compare it for me against the other top phones at the time. I love this phone. I run two email accounts on it, and tons of social media stuff. It is very easy to use and the "gold" was just a plus! The camera is great for my purposes and I think the pictures are comparable to other phones in this category. I wold recommend this phone, hands down.

A solid phone. I suspect power users will find the HTC One more than up to the task. Newbies, like me, will appreciate the ease of use and long batter life. Can't go wrong with this phone!

This is a great phone. It is fast, looks and sounds awesome. I like that you can tap the screen to wake-up the phone, instead of having to use the power button. The addition of the microSD slot was one of the reasons I picked this phone. No more running out of storage for my pictures and video. The BoomSound rocks, this is the best sounding phone I have heard.

Nice big clear screen. Good call quality. Camera did not get good review but I have had no problems with picture quality.

I upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy S4 to the HTC One M8 with Sprint. The phone is the perfect size...just about the same as the S4. I like that the speakers are on the front, the S4 had the speaker on the back. I like the operating system and the processor speed is faster than the S4. It has 32 gig internal memory and an sd card slot for expandable memory. The camera quality is decent, however, the shutter speed is lacking. Overall, I am pleased with the phone.

First off I am tech junkie the display on this phone in my opinion is the best I have seen as far as processing speed this device is crazy fast and smooth you can demanding HD games won't slow down at all and the boom sound speakers are amazing for a phone makes game playing more fun or watching YouTube more enjoyable as far as the camera goes could be better but if you know how to use it it works great and a lot of tricks in the camara app

the touch buttons, like the M7 should have been left on the border of the screen in the black area and use the HTC symbol at the home button and put the two other buttons on each side. for now, u can't use a phone and surf the web at the same time. there's no Flash player. those buttons get in the way and they take away from the screen. Shoulda had a built in antenna so you don't need headphones and listen to the radio stations. FYI, if u gonna have more than one processor, each processor needs at least 1gb RAM, especially for 64-bit OS's.(minimum of 4gb RAM/ROM is usually required)

I traded my IPhone 5 16 gigabytes and got $200 for it and just had to pay the taxes with my upgrade from Sprint.

Great phone, with a great bbuy exclusive color. I was on the fence between this one and the Samsung. I made the right choice. Menu's are more intuitive for me. I wish they had pulled the "megapixel" camera but it still takes decent pictures in most situations.

This phone is great. I upgraded from old HTC one so transition to android was simple. I liked that you could configure your phone on laptop for all set up features. Big blow was GPS function confusion. Phone comes with Google suite apps including Google Maps but there is also a separate car mode GPS map. When trying to use either option or directions tab straight from chrome Google search, the app seemed to randomly lose GPS signal or just exit while navigating. I don't know if I'm only one but my biggest and only complaint is unstable GPS options. Everything else about phone exceeding my expectations and then some!
