Coming from an LG G4 that was 8mo old that died bc of the bootloop issue anything was an upgrade. I decided on this phone because of price and bc I'm not a Samsung or Apple fan. II have had it for 3 weeks and I that I can customize this phone and not have apps that I don't use or want taking up space. Although I wasn't a fan of the camera at first I found some good apps that made it similar to the camera on the G4. I also love the look and feel, although I would love for the screen to be a little more vivid and brighter. This is my first unlocked device and I think if Google continues to make phones to this high of a degree for the price tag then they have customer for life. I was also a liitle irritated that the phone price dropped by $80 on day 16 so I couldn't get a price adjustment.

I purchased the Nexus 6P when my iPhone 5s began acting up, and having poor battery life. At first, it took me a while to get used to Android again, since the 6P runs the newest firmware as soon as it is released by Google. Once I got a feel for the Android changes, the Nexus 6P turned out to be the biggest, and fastest phone I've owned to date. The screen looks amazing, the two front facing speakers will beat an iPhone, or most Android phones any day, tactile feedback while typing is great, the camera takes some good photos (although some can be blurry from vibrations or movement), and the phone comes with a free trial Google Play subscription. What more could you ask for?

First, I absolutely love this phone. It has an awesome camera, I have taken some excellent pictures with this phone, seriously. When new this phone was smooth and never glitched. It charges really fast and lasts for days. I can't say enough about the screen, just excellent. I love everything about this phone except one major issue. I have babied this phone with a cover and have never dropped it or exposed it to any abuse. After three months I started to notice that the phone would randomly shut off. It had a full battery, so that wasn't the issue. It would turn off and immediately turn back on. After some internet searches, I found that they call it random reboots. At first it was once an hour, then 4 times an hour. Now, it does a random reboot 10-15 times each hour. It has become useless to me now. I can't even send a one sentence text before it drops me. I can't even right this review on it, had to use my PC. I have removed all third party apps. Wiped the cache. Started in safe mode, to see if it was an app, and finally I backed up my excellent pictures and I did a factory reset. I restarted the phone without any of the earlier apps, in case it was an app causing the issue. It worked for a hour or so but then it started the random reboots again. I understand that this is a hardware issue then, perhaps a manufacturing defect. There is enough people on the net having this issue that I would be concerned about it if I was a new buyer. I wish I could give more stars but a headache is a headache and I am tired of the battles with this phone. I would still recommend it though, chances of getting a badly made one are slim.

PROS: *Fast processor, no lag *Loud front firing speakers *Excellent battery *Crisp Display *Awesome low-light camera *Gorgeous looking design *Ability to beta test Android N CONS: *Build Quality I had first purchased the gold 6P (It looks pink in some light, and silver in other light) which lasted me one month, before I noticed the metal body had a slight bend in the frame, right above the volume rocker. The small kink was pulling away from the glass panel, and the phone no longer sat level on flat surfaces (It wobbled). I kept the phone in a case since the day I bought it, and never once dropped it. I did my research, many other people had discovered the same exact bend as mine, many were able to RMA through Google, if they purchased the phone via Google. The other not so lucky people (like myself) that did not buy the phone from the Google store, were stuck with contacting Huawei for a replacement. I started an online chat with a friendly Huawei employee, explaining my scenario, while putting great emphasis on why the bend was not my fault, but instead Huawei's, due to a poor/weak design flaw. I was instantly made out to be a fool, because, and I'm paraphrasing here, "Our phone is made of metal, and when metal gets warm, it bends...so you need to be more careful." I follow up with how bogus that is, and why a phone shouldn't bend just from being in your front pocket, and I'd like a replacement. Nope. It's considered "cosmetic damage" and we at Huawei don't cover that sort of thing. Is there anything we can assist you with? Yeah, better customer service. I then take my bent - way past the 14 day return policy - Nexus 6P to Best Buy (I am not an elite member either), in a last ditch effort for an exchange. And my prayers are answered. I ran into the absolute coolest BB employee I've had the pleasure of doing business with. Not only did he exchange my phone, but he also put $80 back on to my card, (due to a current sale) and allowed me to swap for the frost aluminum, instead of the gold color (not at all impressed with the bland gold color). My faith in Best Buy had been restored that day. Thanks again dude!

I haven't used Nexus 6P heavily, but so far my rating is 5 stars. I'm a Nexus fan and Nexus 6P seems to be the best Nexus 6P so far. I'll update my review later after using the phone for a while with more details.

Started off with a Moto X Pure and quickly got annoyed with the LED screen. So, I traded in the Moto X Pure for the Nexus 6P Gold Edition and its been the best decision I ever made! The AMOLED screen is just beautiful and the overall quality screams premium smart phone. I got it on sale and with a free gift (SPECK case) and its been a great cell phone. I never heard of Huawei but they impressed me and made a loyal customer for life. Keep up the quality work!

I had been eyeballing this beauty for a few months before finally pulling the trigger. I was lucky enough to catch it in store, so I didn't have to wait to receive it, and while I had to go through a Sprint store to get the necessary sim card, it was worth the extra stop. The dual front speakers combined with the impressive screen are a combination that wow every time. Watching movie trailers is a whole different experience with this phone. I've had it for three months and have gone through a couple of upgrades, all of which have gone smoothly. I did, however, put it in my back pocket and attempt to sit down. While I was expecting a cracked screen - especially on a phone that size - I was surprised there was minimal damage (a slight bend on the frame), and it's not noticeable with the cover on, so no harm. It is solid, comfortable, and absolutely gorgeous. If you're hesitating, do it. You won't regret it. P.S. I did have problems when I took it internationally because instead of roaming it just hopped onto any available tower and after a lengthy conversation with Sprint they credited my account, BUT it is something to take a look at before setting off on any adventures.

I have used a bunch of Android phone, including Samsung, LG, HTC, Moto, and Huawei. So far this is the best Android phone I have ever used. Highly recommended.

I loved this phone so much that after "upgrading" from my silver Nexus 6p to Samsung's S7 Edge, that I've come back to the Nexus 6p but in gold this time. Everything about this phone just works so well, no gimmicks, super fast, sleek and simply beautiful with the gold finish. I realize that I prefer flat screens as opposed to curved, especially when considering that minute curves on the S7 edge don't add much increased functionality to the phones overall. I love the flat buttonless front of the 6p, and the 2 front firing speakers are amazing for watching video and when listening to music. I have bigger sized hands so larger phones aren't an issue for me, and for the price the Nexus 6p is arguably the best Android smartphone on the market. Hands down the 6p does render Android M at its best, which is to be expected. However I am so smitten with the 6p that I'm seriously considering ordering the Google Pixel C, but am disappointed that it isn't offered at Best Buy in store nor online. Even the Nexus 9 is no longer up for grabs. The Nexus 6p has everything a flagship smartphone should offer, speed, fingerprint scanner, awesome screen, sound, beauty, and consistent reliable performance conducive for productivity on the go. I do recommend this phone to anyone considering an Android smartphone, or debating which Android smartphone you should buy. The Nexus 6p certainly will not leave you disappointed.

My Nexus is great, no complaints and worth every penny. The weird thing is the charger and C to C cable stopped working. I took it back to BB on Broadway in New York. Their solution (Harold) is to replace the whole $450 phone! I will have to replace the screen protector out of.my pocket. I will lose a few hours reloading the replacement. What a waste!! If someone from BB or Geek Squad is reading this please call me. It doesn't have to be this weird!!

Bought this as a gift during Thanksgiving. A great Google product and one of the best Android phones out there. Setup was easy. The camera picture quality is amazing. The screen display is great. The pure android experience feels much better. The battery is good for now and hopefully will be good for a while. I would recommend this device to anyone.

I like the phone and the pure android experience, nothing can come closer to that. The only reason its 4* and not 5 is due to the camera's other competing phones have.

Nice-to-hold phablet. Unlike other phones of this size this one is made well for users who love the bigger screen real estate. Great specs for the price. Definitely can compete with Big Name brands and keeps a stock version of Android OS. Latest version of Android and the amazing Front-facing stereo speakers

I killed my Nexus 5 after owning it for two years and I needed to place it. Of course I thought of the next in line, Nexus 6P. Although it could be better in pricing because it's a bit old now, but I think it was still worth it at the time of purchase. It is fast, big screen, decent sized battery, and a finger scanner in the back. Overall, I enjoy my purchase.
