Good Phone, but problem with wi-fi sign-in

The negative with this phone is that it has great difficulty connecting to Wi-Fi networks that require a sign-in, which is a big pain if you travel a lot and like to sign into airport and hotel Wi-Fi networks.

Posted .Hello MisterT, thank you for your comments about your experience with your Honor 6X, this issue with WI-FI connections, We understand the issue that you are experiencing can be frustrating and in an effort to properly
assist you to resolve this, please consider the following information:
• Walls and other obstructions decrease the network range.
• If you are using a protective case for your device is important to make sure that the case does
not include metal components since this metal parts might produce signal interference
• If there are other devices connected to the router, downloading large amounts of data, that
might cause a slow connection, verify the devices connected to the router and identify
unauthorized devices if it is the case and disconnect them.
• If you find that this issue is caused by a third party app, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling
the application to resolve this issue.
If your phone has been powered on for a long period of time, your phone's memory may be getting
full, which can lead to poor connection quality. Remember to clear system trash at regular intervals.
You can clear system trash using any of the following three methods:
You can also clear system trash using the Phone Manager app.
• Go to Phone Manager and touch Scan. You can view your phone's status, clear system trash,
and optimize the system.
• Touch Phone accelerator to display running applications and close those that are not required.
• Touch Storage cleaner to scan the cache, clean trash, and remove infrequently-used
applications, installation packages and trash.
Touch the Recent key in the virtual navigation bar and then swipe up from the bottom of the screen
until the trash icon is displayed to clear all applications in the list.
• You can also try restoring your phone to factory settings. Ensure that you back up any important
data before restoring factory settings. You can use your phone's Backup feature to back up important
data to your phone's MicroSD card.
• Try updating your phone system to the latest version. To update your system, perform an OTA
