    Mine came defective, i teturned it. The device would not go into pairing mode, even after charging the 16 hours as the instructions told us to do. I got this because it was in sale and had really good reviews. But i will stick with EUFY brand baby monitors they are the best!

    Bad touch screen controls

    Hated the touch screen, it was very clumsy and made it complicated to move the camera around or do simple tasks. Ended up returning it.

      Hello Nick,

      I am sorry to hear about your discontent with the touchscreen. A simple hard reset of the unit could've helped with this issue. the monitor must be plugged in during reset:

      • On the monitor's right side by the power socket, you should see a small reset pinhole.
      • Using a pin, or something small enough to fit inside, press and hold in the reset button until your monitor powers itself off.
      • After a few moments, please manually power the monitor back on. You can now pair your camera back to the unit.

    The worst company ever. They pushed a firmware update in December that caused the parent unit to flash to a black screen every few seconds. The touch screen is slow and lags whenever you try to pan the camera and now that it flashes constantly it’s very hard to move the camera around. And the app is constantly freezing so using that instead of the handheld unit it a joke. I contacted them via Facebook and they sent me a long list of steps to get the monitor to update. They claim that I will get a pop up on the screen asking to update the parent unit even though I never had to accept an update for the firmware that broke the unit. Despite trying these steps multiple times exactly as they were stated I have not been able to get it to update. If you look at other reviews for the camera you will see many others have experienced the same issue. Finally I asked to file a warranty claim. They then emailed me asking me to pay to ship the camera and monitor back so they can “inspect” it and if they find an issue they will send a new one. It says it could take up to 7 days to test it after they receive it. Another 24-48 hours to ship a new one out and then another 2-5 days to receive it. So they want me to pay for a mistake that they made in pushing out faulty firmware and also go without a baby monitor for a few weeks. Do not trust this company with a product that is used to monitor the safety of your child.

      I am sorry for your discontent with your experience. We prime for customers' experience and product quality, so it's normal that we release a new firmware version from time to time to improve such an experience.

      I'm afraid there has been a misunderstanding, the issue you're experiencing is not related to the most recent firmware released, but actually, because your unit was running an outdated one. We assure you that the troubleshooting tips we provided do work and were tested by our technical team. We are receiving many positive feedbacks on this matter as well.

    Love this baby monitor and the fact that you can see the room temperature to make sure the room is not too hot for the baby

    Don't buy this monitor

    Absolutely trash product. Breaks after a couple weeks and they never replace it even though it's under warranty. I've been waiting for a month and they told me it was out of stock. Now they're saying it's in stock but they don't know when it will ship. Just beware and buy something better. It's so expensive for a piece of crap. I'm so mad I can't even get over it. I really wish there was more I can do than just write these reviews on every single platform I can find. Terrible people, terrible company.
