Worked immediately after plugging it in and trying various devices/ports. Good looking design. Strong wire/connector. Great if you need additional ports and have a newer device equipped with USB-C.

This Hyper USB-C hub works perfectly with my Lenovo Chromebook. I had purchased another brand and the HDMI port would drop out randomly. The primary purpose was to extend the display to my Lenovo monitor. I am very pleased with this product so far.

Bought this expecting to use a single hub for my chromebook and MacBook Pro. It was advertised to support HDMI 4K 60Hz, and has a “works with chromebook” logo on it. But, 4K 60Hz is not working on chromebook. It works on my MBP though. I was using a Type-C to HDMI cable previously and it supported 4K 60Hz on both my MBP and chromebook.

Transfers are at alright speed. Some ports work right away but some do not. Driver issues on some applications.

I purchased this as a mini docking station for my work laptop, running Windows 10. I didn't need or want a lot of extra ports. This one let me combine an external display, USB ports for my webcam and keyboard, and gigabit Ethernet using a single USB-C port.

It feels somewhat cheap (materials and feel) and it does the job so no complains so far. It came with a user manual of another product but I don’t care for that. Easy to use, just plug and it works.

I don’t normally wrote reviews, but this product is just fantastic!! I needed a USB type C hub to work from home on my HP Windows 10 PC laptop that will support 4K, high speed ethernet and USB data transfer so I recently bought this HyperDrive and it worked perfectly. It’s small design is quite nice too since I can easily put the hub in my backpack without having to carry a large docking station. The bonus is that it also works just as perfect on my MacBook. I would highly recommend this to anyone that needs a USB type C small form factor HUB with excellent quality.

I am using it for my laptop. It adds the extra ports its easy to hook up. I like to use it to hook up a corded mouse . I also had the printer hooked up.

What do you do when your laptop only has one usb2 port and it is being used by a wireless mouse? Get one of these and hook up 3 more devices at the same time using you spare usbc port.

Great product, easy to use great quality light weight.

Although the product is a bit expensive, it is a very high quality product, I transferred 4K 60hz images and there was no interruption. Besides, I would like to add about the store. One hour pickup? I dont think so, The customer representative does not want to help, I went to buy the product I ordered online 2.5 hours later, it was still not ready and they did not give me any information about when it would be ready, they just said that I should wait but they did not know how long you should wait. however, the product I bought was in the store and I just had to go and fetch it on whichever shelf it was. I had to insist for about 10 minutes for them to look at the product, they brought it back and forth with an unhappy face.

Inexpensive usb c hub and works great. What else is there?

So this the best hub I've come across (oh so many are poor quality). This uses a good USB-C connector, that feels like you're plugging in a regular cable, which is somehow a unique feature for like products. All inputs/outputs are positioned well and work as they should. Totally worth the extra few buck over the store-oriented brands

The description says that no external power source is needed. There are no instructions included in box. However you must plug your Chromebook charging cable into the USB-C port on the Hyper Hub and then plug the Hyper Hub into the charging port on the Chromebook, It will not work without power.

This has been working great. I primarily use it to add a wired ethernet port to my Chromebook. The pass-thru charging is useful since the Chromebook battery drains faster when using this hub and it uses one of the USB-C ports. I've also tested with an external HDMI monitor, but I don't normally use this.

I tried both my Surface Book 2 (dGPU) with type c and Alienware 15 with thunderbolt 3 and for both of them, it outputs 4K at maximum 30hz. Only at 1080p, it gives me the option to turn it up to 60hz. When I connected that HDMI canle directly to my Alienware’s HDMI port, I was able to use 4K at 60hz.

I used this to connect my Steam Deck to my TV. I got 4k60 output, reliable ethernet, and pass-through power. A great deal for the price.
