Solid Hub
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Súper solid hub. I forgot my memory card reader for my MacBook Pro when I went on vacation to Hawaii. This was the hub I decided to buy while I was there so I could offload my GoPro footage onto the laptop and, as it turns out, is now in my regular carry. I seriously do not know why I didn’t just go with one of these to begin with. It’s super speedy and easy to use.

The perfect solution for newer MacBooks!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Despite the minimalist look, there is a lot of functionality packed into this small unit. It has a total of 9 ports, including 3 usb ports, and with the USB-C port, you can still charge your MacBook while using the adapter. There isn't much else I can say about it, it's the perfect adapter that doesn't get in the way.

Excellent for the New Macbook users
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has everything that you can ask for to meet the demanding world of cables, 3 usb, HDMI, Charging type C, SD, micro, etc. I mainly use it for the Wacom that requires many ports at once plus charging my Macbook and mouse and SD reading. It does get warm but very normal for item like this special being pushed to the limit never overheating.

Docking Station, Duel External Monitor, 512gigX2
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great with SurfacePro-7 (I5 128g) as a docking station. PLUG AND PLAY!!! Traded 1 USB-typeC port for; Have it set up with 2 external monitors (HDMI to HDMI) and USB-Type C to Display port) Screens. Doesn't require power outside of what is provided by the USC Type-C. Read/write Speeds are not hindered when using USB 3.0 ports hooked up for Raids (PNY 3.0 Elit-X 512) x2 -Micro SD reader is Hot Transferable plug and play with my camera's memories good for quick photo drop and copy without needing to eject. -USB 3.0 Blu-Ray/CDvR/DVD works with only 10mb/s reduced performance on right speed Still has 2 USB ports I can use for future storage exspansion.

Good Port Replicator, Cannot Get HDMI to Work
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this as a port replicator (i.e. "docking station") for my laptop at home. It connects easily using a USB-C connector and supports pass-thru charging of your laptop by connecting your laptop's power supply to the replicator instead of directly to your laptop, giving you powered ports & laptop charging off one cord. It includes ports for USB-A, audio out, ethernet, and SD cards. I'm a little disappointed in the lack of 1 or more USB-C ports on the device. The only USB-C is the connector from the laptop power supply and the connection to your laptop. It also has an HDMI port, which is supposed to make this an all-in-one port replicator, but will not work at all with my HDMI. I don't know if it's a resolution issue or problem with the device, but cannot get it to display anything to the monitor through this device. I ended up having to run a second cable to the laptop, which meant this isn't an all-in-one after all. That's where it loses a star in my book. Otherwise, it's a good looking, seemingly well-built device. But just disappointed in the lack of working HDMI port.

A must have accessory
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A must for anyone who uses the iPad Pro 2018 on a daily. Such a good accessory so I don’t have to carry all the separate dongles. I have 4 dongles and this has everything and more that all my dongles can do.

It Does What It's Supposed To
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This device works for what you need it to do but it may or may not read micro SD cards. It stays warm.....all the time. I don't think it was worth 100 dollars but I think you're paying for the multifunction. I bought this for my MacBook Pro because it only has the two USB-C ports. It will work in a pinch and to be honest the heat could be due to the fact that it can charge other USB-C devices. It does the job and its durable. Its not meant to dazzle.

portable gadget to carry
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Portable, lightweight, small gadget, easy to carry. I liked the number of ports it has with maximum possible options. Only problem I am see, it is not that smooth to plug out of my laptop. I wish it could have been little smoother to plug-in or plug-out.

I wanted to hate this but I think it’s pretty good
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really want to hate have to live the “dongle life” for owning an MacBook Pro. But this USB-C hub is pretty handy. I literally used every port on this at once and it work fine. It got a little hot but nothing to worried about. Also works great on your iPad Pro. I bought this on sale, But it was still pricey.

Great lightweight travel dock.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HyperDrive 9 port docking station is light and compact and provides all the interconnections I need to work at multiple client sites. Some clients don't have wi/fi so the network port ensures I can get on-line and productive fast. Three USB ports gives me lots of versatility for various peripherals and the HDMI connection allows me to quickly attach to conference room projectors and monitors. While a bit of a luxury, it is also nice to have the ability to load a standard and micro memory card to quickly transfer large .nef and .jpg files to work in photoshop. Very versatile and works flawlessly with my Dell XPS 2 in 1.

Great with the Lenovo Duet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't remember why I purchased this specific one, but it probably had to do with the number of ports for the price. I bought this to use with the Lenovo Duet because the Duet only has one port (USB-C). So far, it's been working well. I use it mainly for the micro/SD card slots, USB-A (wired mouse), and the USB-C charging port. I also bought this to use the audio jack but I've only used it once. I don't know if it's just me or my specific dock, but the audio seems amplified. I plugged in my earphones and, even at the quietest volume level, the audio was loud. I tried using the dongle the Duet came with, used the same settings, and the audio was quiet as expected. Just be careful when using the earphone jack. Other than that, this does what it's supposed to do. No complaints or issues for me based on how I use it.

Love it! It's compact and good for travel
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this. It's portable and you don't need any extra cables like my old HP one. The only thing that I don't like is that it gets very hot.

I like it.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super easy to use. Works very well to attach everything. Only problem is it gets SUPER hot, especially when live streaming. I keep it on fireproof material ... that's how hot it gets, but that's the only problem I've detected. Otherwise, works great.

Works with iPad pros
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this with an iPad Pro. It has pass through power to charge your iPad while plugged in. You must use a larger charger with an iPad though, as the standard iPad charger will not provide enough current for pass through charging!! This hub gives me every port I would ever need. Great buy.

Built like a tank, a little tank, works great
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using this USB-C hub at work for almost a year now without any issues. I use all ports with various devices. Plug stuff in and the devices connect almost immediately. Solidly built. Power pass through so I can charge my phone through it too.

Awesome Purchase
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a hub since I recently purchased a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and of course needed something. Nice and small and the only downfall that it does get a little warm. This is my first experience with a hub but so far have no issues.

Great hub that allows you to leave the Mac case on
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I previously purchased a 2 port plug in that was less expensive but could not connect to the Macbook Pro 15 inch tightly because of the case on the Mac. Returned it to buy this instead. Works great, very portable, and is one of the few that has both an ethernet and sd port.

Third USB is Big
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hyperdrive 9-port is a winner for all MacBook users. Was pleased to be able to link my DVI monitor, HDMI monitor and USB speaker. Only downside (small downside) is that it gets very warm to the touch. Use care where you place it and enjoy its benefits.

Works great
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the adapter, easily connects. I use it for my Macbook Pro, due to the lack of ports, and it works well. It's quite expensive, but it's good quality so I suggest this adapter if you're looking for one.
