GREAT ISB-C adaptor for the Apple Laptops, able to plug in an external HD monitor, hardwire internet and USB2&3 w/ extra USBC plugs. It does get a bit HOT even without running the power through this device.

My new PC is USB-C with a single USB port. This hub allowed me to connect via HDMI cable to a monitor, manages SD cards and USB ports for all the other things I need to connect! Really great device and compact.

Sturdy and reliable, this HyperDrive Docking Station is ideally suited for graduate students, business professionals, healthcare providers, and academicians who seek to expand their connectivity options. As technological advancements continue to emerge, the proliferation of adaptors and port connectors that facilitate secure and rapid transfer of data will soon become the standard (e.g., USB-C). Yet, older connective adapters are still commonly used in many organizations and institutions. Until such products become obsolete, products such as the HyperDrive Ultimate enables the user to accommodate a wide range of connective devices through just one device. It is worth the investment.

Works with duel monitor setup with razer blade steAlth However if you are running anything power intensive when having both monitors going then battery slowly drains on my stealth hence 4 stars. However works fine if just using excel, word, pdf viewer, web browser and email app open all the same tim

this hub makes it easy to connect peripherals to your laptop. It is compact and has a good choice of types of ports.

Allows me to use any connection that I would like, as the MacBook doesn’t have any of these. Wish the cord was a bit longer

Well built USB-C dock. There are plenty of ports, feels quality built. Easy setup, great for a second screen and devices.

Heavy duty all in one port that would be great for someone with multiple plugins. This did not work to connect my monitor to my mac mini as the employee who was helping me claimed. I did get to check it out before returning. It is a bit pricey for what it does.

This is a very good port replicator to extend my slim laptop. It has plenty of ports with video connections for HDMI, VGA, and mini Displayport. I was disappointed to find out that it will only drive two of those three display options at one time, though. That is my only criticism.

It works fine, although I do wish it had another HDMI port. But, the real downside is the 1 ft. connector cable. Just uselessly short. I've had to buy an extension cable to be able to actually do anything with this. I can't understand what the point of having that short a cable is.

Versatile & does the job, but is slightly clunky due to its size. I own both this, the 7-port, and the 9-port HyperDrive adapters: This one is my least favorite. It works well, but I like the smaller form factor of the other two HyperDrive adapters better.

If you have an Apple/Mac monitor with mini port and computer with USB-C this is the only product that will allow you to connect them. As of the time of this writing there is no other adaptor that works. this works perfectly and also adds more USB ports. My only criticism is that the built in connecting cable from the hub to computer should be longer. When this is connected to Computer and a monitor the length of the cable causes the hub to be held at an odd angle. If it were a few inches longer this would not be an issue.

This is a great USB-C Docking station. It has everything you need. I like it because you don't need to power it with a power supply, great for travel.

This hub has a huge amount of ports, which is its primary appeal. All ports work well. The only problem was with the VGA connector which had such a tight fit that when removing it the cover plate became bent on the unit. Otherwise works as it should.

Overall, this is a great product. As a Mac user I had so many different dongles, whereas now the docking station minimized the use of the different ports. However, the placement of the USB-C to connect to the computer is very inconvenient, and there are limited ways to orient the docking station. If I wanted to to put my MacBook in clamshell mode to solely use my large monitor, it is difficult to orient. I think it would also be better if the sides of the docking station could be flattened so that way it can be oriented laid flat or standing on its side minimizing space.

It functionally great. However, the USB-C lead is short, so it’s inconvenient. If the lead was longer or maybe the whole device was smaller/lighter, it’d fit better.

No problems. Works good but it gets so hot you can’t hardly touch it. And that’s with it just plugged in with nothing else attached. Hopefully the heat won’t cause problems down the road.

This works really well, and has a port (or multiple ports) for absolutely everything. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because it is really large, and takes up more desk space than I'd like.

Easy to use and provides enough ports to utilize different devices. Great product.

Use the hub on my primary desktop system as a software developer. Works fine. I have a couple of USB devices attached and an HDMI monitor. It can get pretty warm at times.
