Never really paid attention to this brand but I saw it at the end of the aisle and decided to give it a shot. This thing is built like a brick, incredibly sturdy all around and more solid than the corsair K70. Typing in this thing is great, though it is a little louder than other keyboards. For gaming you have to press the keys a little harder than you would on the K70 so that might make it a little slower for that kind of usage.

I purchased this keyboard for typing in the office and specifically wanted brown keys to get a lower noise level while trying to get as close to the feel of cherry mx blues. Keyboard is great, perfect level of noise for an open cubicle work environment, and the keyboard appears to be quality craftsmanship. Bought my wife one also for her office and she loves it. Would recommend this to a friend. No extra frills, just a great keyboard at a good price.

Yes you heard right. This is the mechanical keyboard you have been looking for. The clicks are so soothing to the ear, it helps me register that the key has definitely been pressed. I'm enjoying every moment I spend with this keyboard. Get it, it's awesome. HyperX products are the definition of quality.

Great keyboard. I love all of my hyper x peripherals. I got the cherry Mx brown version and it's worked perfect since I have purchased it. Only downside is this isn't rgb if that's what you are looking for

I prefer mechanical keyboards and this one delivers. I liked it so much I bought an extra one for work (at my expense).

I got the Cherry MX Brown switches. Good keyboard, love the keys. Simple design but has nice aluminum base, definitely high quality. One minor thing to note is the keys have characters at the top so they all light up. Compared to Razer mech keyboards, which have normal character positions, so the lower part doesn't light up because that is where the key support is. The LED is at the top of the key.

It does everything that we expected from a mechanical gaming keyboard. If you are a computer gamer this is a must.

Got this for my boyfriend, the price was good and he loves it. The keyboard is kind of heavy but it's sturdy. It was a great buy and made a perfect gift. It is the brown keys.

Bought this for use on a Microsoft Surface Laptop. Works great played a few games of Overwatch before writing this and I didn't have any problems. I got the brown swtiches because they're not super clicky just like I want it.

Excellent feel for gaming and normal typing. Might not have the tactile feedback old fashioned touch typists require. But, you know when you are using a lower quality keyboard after this one. The metal chassis for the product is excellent.

Love this keyboard! I wanted to get a keyboard that I could keep clean! These keys are removable and that makes it easy to clean when they get dirty!

Very great Keyboard from Hyper X. Mechanical keyboard with minimal clicky sounds. Very responsive. Only one color on backlight but no big deal

I love the tactical feel of they keys, it is very responsive and has a sturdy build. Also, the lights in the upper right are great for seeing if you are on Gaming mode, caps lock, and num lock. I recommend this keyboard for any gamer on a budget or on the move.

I really can't add too much to what others have said. This keyboard works and looks great. The one thing I have noticed that hardly anyone mentions is the ability to choose which keys light up. If you select the custom light scheme and press Fn+Ctrl you can choose which keys are lit. Then press Fn+Ctrl to set the selections into memory. This is very helpful when gaming in a dim environment.
