It was okay while I used it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would say it an okay device. The 7.1 surround sound wasn’t great. I no longer use this and just use the audio from my motherboard because it honestly sounds better than this device. If you have a headset with a mic and no headphones/mic input, this device would probably be right for you.

Not so great
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got these hoping it would assist with my headset but was very disappointed. Original stereo sound on the headset was waaaaay better then the simulated surround sound

Poor sound quality, little volume.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace my 7.1 usb dongle for my Cloud II. Compared to the included dongle for the Cloud II the sound quality is subpar, hardly any bass, and the "amp" gives far less volume than the Cloud II dongle. And yes I am aware there are two devices to select from. Honestly a waste of money. Going to just order a replacement straight from HyperX.

Simple enough sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simple plug n play for PC. Handy and cheap if your onboard sound suddenly dies like mine did or if you want something slightly better quality on a laptop. The virtual 7.1 surround is pretty bad but it sounds fine with it turned off.
