Just purchased due to other brand headset breaking on me…very cheap plastic or something. Read reviews looking for a durable headset and this one popped up many times. Construction seems quite good so far and I don’t anticipate issues with it breaking with normal daily use as my old headset did. Sound quality is on par with others in this price range; surprisingly long cord, thick too (hope this means durable). I like that the microphone and cord are ‘modular’ so I can replace those if needed. Only improvement I could think of with limited use so far is that I wish the detents were a little stronger…the ear cups tend to move when putting on and taking off the headset so it requires constant adjustment. Would give 4.5 stars but that is not an option.

Light and sturdy. Also, comfortable. Sound is good. I like the bass. Recommend it.

Great sounding headphones! Overall very comfortable, I had to get these because I needed something that wasn't going to crush my head and my ears. If you have a big head and need something comfortable that will not get too warm and sounds great? Look no further! The mic has excellent audio quality and this plugs into anything, console or PC.

When this headset is on sale for anything under $100, it is an amazing buy. Great sound, mic, and is extremely comfortable. The wired version's mic is better than the wireless version. This is my second one after about 4-5 years, I've had to replace the other one due to wear and tear.

Honestly like these better than my Astros A20. Better fit for me while streaming games and just playing for fun. I also only like getting gaming headphones that are compatible with all my devices so this was a great pick !

I shopped around for many headsets on the market including the steel series pro with gamedac for 250. I did like the pro better however, the cloud alpha is so good for a 100 bucks that when I tested them it was so comfy and the sound was good I fell in love. Pros- comfy, great build, dual chamber with good sound. Design Mic on headset is decent Cons- no amp comes with it.

Really Comfortable headset. I generally prefer the more square ear cups but these sate well around my larger ears. The sound quality was very nice and they have a wide size change with their extensions.

The Hyper X headphones offer great sound quality, and block out outside noise. They are comfortable to wear, but I would suggest taking a break every hour, or loosening the tightness to avoid headaches.

This is the only gaming headset my kids will use. Lasts forever and great quality. Only had to buy a new one because our puppy gnawed the microphone off of our first pair.

I love these things. Closed back with a comfy pleather memory foam cup. Sounds great for gaming, music is good too. The detachable mic is one of the best you can get. I have had multiple comments from squads and duos that my mic quality is next level. No USB sound card with these, but a super nice, braided extension cable comes with. (About 6ft long) Definitely recommend!

Bought this headset as a replacement for my old turtle beaches and they are exactly what I was looking for. Build quality is amazing and doesn’t feel cheap at all. The cushions make the headset very comfortable for long gaming sessions. Sound quality is also pretty good too, being it is sponsored by the R6 pro league. All in all 10/10

So far so good. Great durable headphones. I use them for work, taking calls mostly. Comfortable, like the mic shut off switch, great sound and people can hear me and only me while speaking. Works good on my PS5 and Xbox Series X and Xbox one but I have better headphones for my consoles.

I love HyperX and this headset is one of their best. The sound quality is fantastic and the headset is very comfortable.

So I've tried multiple headsets, ranging from Astros, Turtle Beach, Razer and Steel Series. The Hyper Cloud Alpha is actually one of my favorites and I have been using it for years. Whether you need it for gaming, streaming, work from home, skype or discord calls with friends - this is the headset for you and at a pretty great price point. I've tried $250+ dollar headsets and this one is still my favorite. (I bought a new pair on 1/14/20 but have owned these for 6 years) I LOVE how crisp the audio is - it doesn't have a booming bass or anything but for shooter games and mmos it's amazing. if you're like me and like to use audio queues like footsteps in games - please please get this! I PROMISE you will not be disappointed. You can cleanly hear which side players are coming from like you are actually there. I'll start off by saying I've used multiple different headsets and headphones. Before switching to these l, I was using a set of Sennheiser game zero's. Within the first 5 minutes using the cloud alphas, I knew these headphones were amazing. The sound was much richer, and there was some actual bass. Comfort on these are amazing. No discomfort after hours of continuous use.

This was my first ever gaming headset and I really liked it, it sounds good, it feels premium, and it feels comfortable. That’s all you really need in a headset but I think 80$ is a bit to much. But still a great headset

I am giving it 4.5 stars. These new cloud alpha wired headsets are not quite as good as the one that I had purchased a few years ago and I would still be using that headset if the pleather components had not broken down and made the earcups unwearable. This new headset is very similar in most aspects except the foam in the earcups now feels a little stiffer and cheaper. It is still relatively comfortable but they do not feel like they completely sit around my ear now and make a good seal. I still prefer these over the wireless ones to prevent losing audio mid game if the battery dies. Overall still a good purchase
