It’s been a little over a year now and i’ve had no issues. Feels comfortable, the microphone is easily adjustable, and the audio quality is good on both ends. If you want something at a decent mid range price, I would recommend giving these a try. Ill check back in another year or so.

This headset is great for both serious gamers or casual. It has great built quality and the sound his crisp. the mic has great flexibility and the ear cushions are comfortable. I really enjoy using this headset for long periods of time and would recommend it to anyone looking to buy a good quality headset for a reasonable price. The only minor issue I do find with this headset is the volume control on the wire; it works fine but it sometimes tugs on the edge of my desk. Other than that minor issue, it is an excellent headset overall.

Sound is Incredible! Especially when paired with the Dolby Atmos app on Xbox. I play COD MW competitively and these have not once let me down. I love the inline audio controls compared to turble Beach's on-ear controls. Microphone can be turned off with a switch, or taken off for sole headphones. Got these for their advertised comfort and they do NOT disappoint. With or without glasses, these are the comfiest set I have ever worn. I would not hesitate to buy these again.

I’ve tried 5 different headsets in the last 6 months and these are by far my favorite. Comfortable, clear, good mic. I have a big head so some of the headsets I tried didn’t fit comfortably, but these are by far the best and they just happened to be $99 when I was willing to spend much more.

The sound that comes through them is amazing. They are super comfortable and the cushions go over the ears instead of sitting on your ears. The mic sits in a comfortable position that doesn't block your view. I was also impressed with the fact that it came with a cord to plug into a plug that has both mic and headphone capabilities. It also came with a split cord to plug into a computer that has the mic and headphone ports separate.

I love this headset. I work at a school and produce a video podcast with some of my students. We use these headsets to monitor the audio. They are super comfortable and have a nice dynamic range. The bass is punchy without having distortion. The mic on this headset works pretty well too. This was a great purchase. I hope that hyperXs sale to HP doesn't diminish the quality of their future products.

I picked this up a little under a month ago and I can’t think of anything negative to say about. The audio is great and the volume gets up plenty loud enough for me. Bass, mids, and treble are good and the chat does not sound washed out. My buddies are happy I got a upgrade! This thing is also built like a tank and feel like it will last the test of time. Overall I would highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a new wired gaming headset sub 100$.

These are very comfortable and I love they way they sound. The voice clarity is huge and the microphone doesn’t pick up sound unless your 2 inches from mic. The only downside is I’ve been having teammates constantly tell me my mic is echoing and making a clicking noise. When I go to test voice I control anytime I moved the headset cord it began echoing like crazy.

I use the headset for late night movie watching. Sound is clear, I like the crisp base. My son "borrows" them to play ps4 games. So far he has been pleased with the sound quality and said the microphone works well.
I've only had them on for about 2 hours at a time. They still seem comfortable after that time. I would think for long gaming they should be fine.
I would prefer a little more output on the higher frequency as sometimes the bass does take over. Other than that I think they are a fine headset.

My old turtles died and I needed a new set of headphones to use with my PC. Few sets live up to the claim of being good on the PC since most gamers seem to be using consoles now. These are comfortable up to four hours (about my max without a break). Only real complaints, setup was quirky and teammates said it was too loud due to feed back at first. I finally got it right. It's very sensitive. Sound quality is excellent and they are as directional as any I've ever worn. I would buy them again.

I bought these to replace my last headset which was a Turtle Beach Stealth 300. I've been using Turtle Beaches for probably 15 years at this point and have been really satisfied with them until the Stealth 300s I had broke in under a year (poor, plastic construction quality).
Anyway, you can definitely notice that the Hyper X - Cloud Alpha's are ten times better as far as build quality goes. Mostly metal frame construction along with high quality materials for the other parts. The only thing I didn't like when comparing the two headsets was the Stealth 300 had fabric mesh for the ear cups whereas the Cloud Alphas have memory foam covered by leatherette. The leatherette makes it just a bit hotter, but probably provides better noise reduction.
The fit of the Cloud Alphas I would imagine is great for a normal head, but just a bit tight on a larger head like my own. As for the sound, the most important part, I feel like it falls a bit short compared to some of the other Turtle Beaches I've owned. I primarily play COD and find it harder to place footsteps, gunshots, and explosions than with the Stealths. Maybe that's just the new COD (Warzone) or maybe that's the headset, I'm not sure. For all other gaming the sound quality is great.
Overall, a decent headset for the cost.

okay so i really dont have anything bad to say about this other than it comes with some extra things i dont need (y splitter and carrying pouch-which is not really a case more just like a fabric bag) so im just going to list some of the good things about it lol
1. it has a detachable mic and detachable cord which is great for storing or traveling
2. its got in-line controls (volume and mute) which i prefer over on-ear controls
3. the sound and mic quality is great-i always worry about people being able to hear me chewing or drinking but it didnt pick up any of that or any other background noises
4. its a little bit on the bigger side but is very lightweight and not too tight on my ears
5. the actual quality of materials seems to be very good it looks and feels sturdy and the cord is braided which i love
so overall its a great headset and if you are going to use the extra stuff go ahead and get it but if you are not a crazy gamer and just looking for a more casual headset and dont need anything fancy like me i would suggest going with one of hypers cheaper headsets (i went with the cloudx) since i couldnt really tell any difference in quality

I am an avid supporter of Kingston' s Hyper X line of products, from their keyboards, to their mice, to their highly acclaimed Cloud line. Their new Alpha continues down a similar style to the Cloud, boasting the same classic red and black aluminum design. Fans of the Hyper X Cloud II won't see too much of a difference between the products. They have the same accessories, and mostly the same features, except the Alpha comes with a duel driver to prevent distortion with a more deeper bass. This is one of the best sounding and most comfortable headsets I've ever used for numerous multi-media, particularly gaming. While it's designed to be an upgrade from the Cloud II, it's not giant enough to divert users to opt in for an upgrade if they already own the Cloud II. First time users, I can't recommend this enough. At such an affordable price, this is one of the best headsets you will find in this price-range.

I have tried out many headsets and found this one to be the best. It is very light and sturdy. The audio stays in because of the leather style eat foam that may start to make your ears hot and sweat but very small amount. Build is very sturdy can bend and flex a lot about braking. This head set was a little tight at first but a few stretching will help that. This headset stays on your head if you move a lot. Noise cancelling microphone is great and sounds awesome.

It's been about 1 year since I purchased this headset and it's hard to think of anything negative to say about it. Physically it's very durable and there has been minimal wear/tear over a year of using it for playstation, PC, and for playing bass guitar. In my experience hyper-x and steel series are among the best in quality without jacking up the price for special lights and things you don't really need. This is a step up in quality from your average $25-50 headset but I don't think the next step up is worth it for what you get. Set up is easy, and there's nothing special you need to do to switch between multiple devices (like you would for a wireless headset).
If you're searching for a quality and versatile headset this is the one. It's comfortable, it's fairly priced, and after a year I have no regrets buying this headset.

Pick this up for my son who is a gamer for Xbox also some gaming on his laptop too. So far been thrilled. I'm also using the microphone right now to dictate this review. the sound is very good, Chris clean with a nice amount of base that's not too much I would definitely recommend you picking up a pair in trying it. Also the memory foam your boss are very comfortable. I might buy another set just for me!:)
