    Xbox Party Chat ECHO

This review is mostly for Xbox. I got the headset, because I was looking for wired alternative when playing Blackout on Xbox. The headsets are very comfortable and the sound is good for pinpointing enemies on the game. The loudness is just right. Not too quiet compared to issues with different headsets in the market. The only issue that I had was ECHOING when playing with a party. I checked the party chat and I stayed quiet the whole time. When my party talked, my profile would still light up as if I am talking when I'm not. Of course, they mentioned the echo as well. I checked the connections many times and made sure that the cables were connected flushed ("gray shouldn't be showing"). Also, I followed required settings as far as lowering the game volume on the Xbox Audio settings one notch, and if doesn't work, lower it another notch. The thing about the is that the sounds become really quiet. For games where it requires you to be able to hear your opponents' movements, doing that is ineffective. Besides, it's just pointless. Not sure if it's actual Xbox issue or the headset, either way, I'm saying is that they're not compatible. However, if you are using this while playing on your own and not with a group, then this headset is sufficient. Multi console - I like that aspect of the headset. I tried it on PS4, Switch, and the headset delivered good sound. The only thing really is the Xbox issue I mentioned. It's important to me, since I play online on Xbox mostly. Regardless, I will still recommend this headset. Just be cautious about the echoing.

I've had this headset for about a month and, The build quality, the sound quality, the PRICE. I'm blown away by this headset. My previous one was a Steel series Arctis pro rgb and that headset is $280. It is HOT GARBAGE compared to the cloud alpha's that are $99 wired.

Picked this up for wife along with her new series S xbox. After having a not so good time with newer razer products over the last few years, and the logitech headset that inise being a bit to pricey for just an xbox i grabbed something new. At the price point this is a pretty decent headset. The microphone thats on it is defently on the higher end soectrum for built in mics, and the sound wauloty is above average. Pretty comfortable and is a robust feeling chassis.

Definitely recommend getting this headset. Really comfortable, and built well overall. The bass on the headset is really good and it has really good sound. Really good headset for the price range.

extremely comfortable, I used them on both my ps4 and computer, for music with base they aren't as good, as there is a limit to how laud they get, but works well for movies or video games.

Purchased this headset for my child, who is hard on gaming headsets. He was very happy with the headset and the reviews both on Best Buy and other sites are accurate. It is a great headset that is well made and had some heft but not too heavy. He doesn't have a huge head and it isn't too big for him. The mic stopped worked at times and tech support from the company was great. Going to send him a new headset, even though I think it is was more his fault than the headset faults. He doesn't take the greatest care of them. Worth the price and lives up the name! Highly recommended, if you want a good headset that is basic but not top-line.

Best headset I've ever owned. Comfortable, lightweight, solid sound. I prefer these over my Steel Series Arctis Pro and my LG G-Pro Wireless. They last forever too.

I bought this item to replace a good but deteriorating headset. Since it is wired stereo with good specs, I thought it was a good fit with my SB G6 DAC. The microphone in particular has much better clarity and sensitivity than my old one. It seems durable as well.

Excellent for Gaming and Focused Music Listening

After spending months with Audio-Technica's ATHM40x, I ended up replacing those with a these: they have a much better low-end, don't have cumbersome ear cups, and don't require after-market ear cushions to fit those of us with larger-than-normal ears (I have huge ears and a big melon and these don't compress either). This is my second pair: the first is for gaming and WFH days. For work I can spend 6+ hours listening continuously ans don't experience fatigue with these. Sound is detailed, tight and clean: music ranges from noisier metal (Converge) to hip-hop (RTJ) to gentler indie stuff (Sufjan Stevens). Re: voice, Ring Central calls sound great and I've been told I'm very clear.

Purchased as an upgrade for our 16-year old gamer who was using an old Turtle Beach headset that had a failing microphone. I read all the reviews and knew that this brand/model was quality. Actual usage has not disappointed. My son has nothing but good things to say about the sound quality, microphone clarity, and comfort. He plays multiple hours a day, so he's about a reliable source as any of the "experts" out there. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a really good headset. We purchased on sale when they were like $80, and I think you can still find them at that price point.

I highly recommend this product, especially around the holidays whenever it is on sale. Sound and performance are spectacular as I can wear these for over six hours while gaming without any discomfort. HyperX’s build quality has always been spot on, coupled with the braided cable provides a sense of high quality.

Great comfort while wearing them, plus it’s noise cancellation is up to par I can’t hear people talking to me while wearing them. Sound is perfect I can hear the footsteps while in the game to pin point the other players. They are up there with the cheaper JBL headsets that I bought for sound but are made from better quality parts then my JBL, which are all plastic and break easily.

I don’t have a big head neither a small head but I found the grip that these gave around the head was a bit lacking, I have heard this before from friends aswell. The mic was okay, and the sound was good.

I bought these to use as my main PC headset and as a backup to my PS4s Astro A50s. These ended up being really great. I now use these for both my PC and PS4 99% of the time. They don't cause hot spots on the headband, and both the headband and earcups are very comfortable. I have had no complaints about the mic, which swaps on and off without issue. The cord offers plety of length, and also comes with an extension. There is an inline volume control and mute button. I have wore them for up 12 hours strait without fatigue or pain. They are closed back, so your ears will sweat. I primarily use them to game and watch movies. WHile gaming, you can hear the footsteps and direction they are coming from very well. For movies, the stereo sound is pretty amazing when watching movies with highdef sound. I have turned around a couple of times thinking someone was talking or knocking behind me when watching a movie. The combination of hair product and longer sessions can make the headband sticky, like most headsets, but the material of this one cleans off very good with a wet cloth. The construction is very sturdy, with a metal headband, unlike plastic Turtle beach headbands. I highly recommend them.
