Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the superb sound quality and comfortable design of the Cloud II Wired Gaming Headset. Many appreciate its compatibility with multiple gaming platforms and the detachable microphone. However, some users mention the headset's relatively short cable and lack of inline volume controls as drawbacks. A few also noted that the fit might be snug for some users, and that the bass could be improved.

    Great Sound - troublesome mic

The sound quality of this headset is the best of the headsets I have owned. The downfall with the mic is that it is very, very quiet. I had to install a separate third party software after updating the firmware to be able to adjust the mic volume and even be heard by others. I found out that other people have had the same issue and was able to find the resolution on YouTube. The set is comfortable for me and I like the way it looks! If the issues with the mic were not present, I would have given this a five star review with excellent ratings across the board, but mics are important.

This is normally $100 but I got it for $50. Even at $75 I would recommend this product. I tried like 3 different headsets before I settled on this one. 1. It's 7.1 Virtual Surround Sound 2. USB or headphone/microphone jack 3. removable microphone 4. USB connection has easy volume controls and microphone controls 5. Leather AND Cloth earcups that are easily removable/washable 6. Doesn't feel that heavy while being large enough to cover more than my ears 7. Design isn't anything too flashly and doesn't look obviously like a gaming headset when you remove the microphone, making it not bad for travel 8. has a carrying pouch! Overall, great buy.

I bought these to replace my Turtle beaches that had broken. The TB's were the second pair I had owned and both had broken headbands, apparently a huge problem. I decided I wanted something a little more reliable and better constructed. The aluminum frame was exactly what I was looking for. it's sturdy and just as light as the plastic bands on the TB's. The sound is great too, offering surround sound. They feel good on the head for long periods of time and you hardly notice they are there. The only complaint I have is that there isn't a volume or mute control on the headset themselves. There is one on the extended pc usb adaptor that is included, however since I'm using them with an XB1, it does me no good.

Purchased to enable extended WFH due to Covid-19. My work involves a lot of meetings/calls, so the low quality audio of shouting at my laptop wasn't sustainable (esp with a partner also WFH!), and the cheaper headset I had on hand was painful after only 1 call... so I looked for a comfortable gaming headset - figuring gamers wouldn't put up with bad audio or discomfort for hours - and found this one. I really like the two ear pad options that came with it, and the adjustable boom mic is really nice (some other gaming headsets have a mic that can't be adjusted, goodness why?). The plug in options are also good, including direct audio in and USB options. The top headset pad is good, and the adjustable length works well. Overall comfortable, versatile, and seems of good quality. I've only used for 2 weeks, but seems like it will hold up. Bonus that it has some color to it (in my case, red) and so is easier to find in all the chaos compared to all of the other black-on-black computer gear that manufacturers make. Note that the mic does not come plugged in (again, another nice option that it's removable if not needed), and that you really have to make sure it's plugged all the way into headset for the mic to work. Not difficult, just might need to make sure it's fully seated to work correctly. Only drawback - and it was minor - was that it took a few extra steps (control panel>sound) to get my PC to recognize the headset, but that was easy to do. Also came with a nice quality storage bag, which I didn't expect. I wasn't sure if an ~$80 headset was going to be worth it, but this seems really well put together and well designed.

I bought this particular set of headphones during the black friday sale for 69.99 (msrp 99.99) and I didn't expect much out of it because I have a pair of Astros at home. I bought this one as a backup, but it turns out the quality is just as good if not better than the Astros I have. I would definitely recommend the Hyper X Cloud II to both serious and casual gamers alike. Pros: -Comfortable ear cases -true 7.1 surround sound -sturdiness and high quality for the price Cons: -Not wireless -Length of the wire needed to connect to device and for full functionality.

I looked up competitive gaming headsets and this one came up while the cloud 3 came out already I still went with the cloud too and was not disappointed at all. I recommend this or maybe cloud too. Also my astros 50 still work which are at cost of $250.00+ and these that are a little over $100.00 caught me by surprise on how much better they are.

Honestly I had no idea these headphones existed. Young lady that worked there named Alejadra brought this to my attention. Originally I was going for the Arctis series headphones since they were sold out on the ps5 headset. I told her I wanted a headset that is just as good as the ps5 ones. She then recommended me this headset right here. She told me she owns one herself. I didn't know much about these headphones, so I took a gamble on it and it paid off. Best decision I've made buying these headphones. I tested them out. I love the look, sound and feel of these headphones. They fit perfectly snug on my ears. Plugs into my ps5 controller and works. The sound quality when playing games like "Call Of Duty" or "Spiderman" is awesome. In COD, I can hear footsteps coming towards me from any direction. Also when it comes down to playing with friends in a game chat, the experience is amazing. I can hear the game and everything that's going on in the background very well while talking to friends on the mic at the same time. The perfect balance of sound between them. Makes you feel like you're in the game. Playing spiderman, I feel like I'm in New York for real. All n all, I love my headphones. Definitely would recommend this to a friend.

If you're someone like me who likes to research a lot before making a purchase, I hope this review will help. After about a month of researching best gaming headsets for cheap, I was originally going to get the stinger. But, this came on sale for about 69.99 and I read a lot of good reviews about it. First off, this headset is extremely comfortable. I have a big head (wear size 7 7/8 hats) and I wear glasses. None of this was a problem for the cloud 2's. Second, the sound is great! I play games like CS:GO and Overwatch and the virtual 7.1 surround sound is amazing. Last, the microphone is good. Don't take that as a negative, my friends on discord say I sound absolutely more clear than what I had previously, but they I also had to adjust it because they said I sounded soft. This is my first headset I've ever bought and I would make the purchase again.

Great mid tier headset. I have had this headset for 2 years now and that had no issues with it what so ever. The ear pieces are comfortable enough to not hurt the ears for long gaming sessions. Sound quality is surprisingly really balanced. In competitive games (overwatch, hunt showdown, naraka blade point, call of duty) I have perfect directional audio that has given me a major advantage in those games. When I'm grouped with friends or in a voice channel I can hear others in the channel perfectly fine. The microphone I can talk normally and people can hear me clearly. I was worried about the detachable mic. Last headset I had, had one and it caused problems every so often with the mic disconnecting. This one doesn't. I'm super impressed with this brand and when time comes I'll probably get next model up from this one I highly recommend this.

These have been a fantastic product. They're very light which is why I prefer wired headphones, and the quality is fantastic. The only con is the chord is a bit short, but a headphone extender is cheap if not lying around. Great product and a better price.

I work from home and wear this headset 8 to 10 hours a day, 5 days a week. It's very lightweight and comfortable to wear for extended periods. The sound quality is outstanding and the noise cancellation is better than anything else I've ever owned.

Pros: Very light and comfortable, good sound and mike works well. Fit my larger head well after about a week. They do cut out a lot of outside sound so family my have trouble getting your attention. Not totally a bad thing. I am known to have 15 hour gaming sessions on the weekend and they are still comfortable from start to finish. Cons: 1 thing and it is not big. The leatherette ear covers do get warm and make my ears a little sweaty. I will soon switch to the cloth ones as spring is approaching and i live in Florida..

I was looking for a new headset after my RIG finally gave out on me and came across these in store. I am not disappointed at all. These headphones are so comfortable even after several hours of wear and they fit my small dome just right. The sound is great and the microphone quality is clear. I also love the way they look, they came with an extra set of muffs in red as well as a cloth carrying case, which I appreciate. I would definitely buy these again.

This headset is a lot more comfortable than my Astro A40’s, I recently switched from Xbox to PC and was sad to discover I had to rebuy a new headset since it only worked with Xbox, but this headset is amazing for the price and honestly like it more than my $200 Astros, my friends have also said my voice sounds more clear and HD with this new headset as well

This is by far my favorite headset I have ever owned. (Hyper x II, Revolvers, Kraken, Logitech g430). I think this is the best headset you could buy for the price range and is a good competitor for more expensive options. I left a little pro / con list below. Pros : - Amazing for the price - Better than the revolvers - Lightweight - Stylish - Sound is amazing Cons : - Makes ears hot - Gets uncomfortable after many hours

Extremely comfortable, great quality. Light as well, great for someone with glasses. Sound and mic are fantastic as well. Does not contain in-line volume/mute buttons unless you're hooked into a USB port. Good for computers, but for Console I would recommend the Cloud Alpha for in-line volume/mute buttons with no need USB port

I won't lie I am a VERY picky person about my headphones. I like the bigger ones that fit over your ear. I like when they have better bass and I like when they last a long time. I have used various brands throughout the years and they are all cheaply made and fall apart right away. I talked to the employee about all this and he said this one seemed to be a better fit for what I was look for. He was right! These fit perfectly on my head and swivel/extend if you need them too. The microphone pops off if you don't care to use it. It also comes with a nice bag to carry it in if you go out. And the ear pieces are replaceable with an alternate set that looks and feels different. It plugs in easily into a USB port and reads it right away. It has its own built in soundcard to! It also has a small control pad on the cord so you can control the volume of the mic and the headphones. The cord is VERY long which I was also thrilled about. The sound in it is AMAZING and even better then my cheap pair I bought. The only con I can think of is the "7.1 surround sound" (you turn it on/off on that control panel) is really bad. I play CSGO and can't really tell where an enemy is with the surround sound. So I turn it off. Maybe it works better with other games. Not sure. I mean I can hear when someone is upstairs or downstairs for example. But I can't pinpoint where exactly. Where as with it off I can pinpoint if they are behind me but to the left upstairs...etc. Defiantly give these a shot! The price is well worth it!

I am not an audiophile by any means. As such, these do sound nice. Much better than my cheapo Turtle Beach from 8 years ago. It is comfortable to wear for long sessions, even more if I switch to the included soft fabric ear pads. Construction feels solid. The braided cable is sturdy feeling. The sound range feels good, it has bass but not in an amount that gets tiring to hear after a few minutes. As for the 7.1 Virtual Surround feature, I'm not sold on that and actually prefer it to be off. It simulates the sound of sitting in a room with a lower quality surround sound system, mimicking reverberations and echoes off the walls of the room and making the sound source feel like it is a distance away. Definitely not more immersive or realistic sound. And tracking sound sources becomes more difficult, object sounds are either mostly left or right ear, not a changing mix as they move from side to side, front to back. ALSO - on PC an included feature of Windows 10 called Windows Sonic does the same thing for free without needing a converter such as is in this headset. So for PC gaming this is redundant. So is this headset worth the $90 asking price? Wish I could say, I haven't researched the competition and how their features are priced, and if you even need those features, but price aside it's a nice headset.
