Customers often highlight the superb sound quality and comfortable design of the Cloud II Wired Gaming Headset. Many appreciate its compatibility with multiple gaming platforms and the detachable microphone. However, some users mention the headset's relatively short cable and lack of inline volume controls as drawbacks. A few also noted that the fit might be snug for some users, and that the bass could be improved.

I needed a headset I could use with my PC, cell phone and Xbox One. I searched and read reviews on a variety brands. Once I narrowed down the choices, I went to several local stores for a hands on listening experience. By far the HyperX Cloud II headset fit my needs without breaking the bank. The removable mic is great for when I just want to listen to music, movies etc. It has a digitally enhanced, noise-cancelling microphone with automatic gain control functionality and echo cancellation. No one can tell I'm using a headset when I'm on my phone. Sound is excellent! HyperX Cloud II is Hi-Fi capable, with 53mm drivers for superior audio performance and rich sound quality with crystal-clear low, mid and high tones and enhanced bass via the sound card. This sound is further enhanced by the hardware-driven virtual 7.1 surround sound. Finally (but not to be minimized) the headset is very comfortable to wear for hours on end!

Comfortable, nice that you can swap between two ear cushions, great sound, nice volume control, 7.1 surround is great, great for fps games, nice microphone. Random strangers in games comment how nice my mic sounds. The only negative is the 3.5mm jack cord is too short! The headset fits controllers with a 3.5 audio connection and i guess it's made short for those controllers. But use it for anything else and it's way too short. Guitar amp or computer connection it sucks being that short! The rest of the cord is usb and plenty long enough. Nice that you have both connections, but the 3.5 is not versatile beyond a controller. I prefer wired so no messing with recharging and battery failure. Some reinforcement at the end of the usb cord would be nice. Mine attaches straight up from the top of my pc. Worried that bend won't last as long as it could. So far zero issues.

I got this headset off of a recommendation from my brother. I was in the market for a new headset but did not want to spend more then I needed to. I am an avid gamer so I wanted something comfortable, lightweight, breathable, and above all, had great sound. The Cloud II's have all that for just under $100. Not only that, but they look great in black/red. The leather cups look nice, but I cannot use them because of how hot they get. The plush, on the other hand, are perfect. They breath and still look good. Unfortunately, after about four months the right headphone stopped working. I contacted Kingston and immediately got a replacement set. Literally, within the week I had a new set and they are based in Cali, I am in New Jersey. So excellent product backed by an excellent customer service! What more can you need? My only complaint is that you cannot use the sound card on anything other then PC. I knew this going in so I can't take a star away for that.

Great sounds, good bass, clear no static and louder than I expected at this price point. Make sure to do the firmware update, follow the directions online. This will take any light static you may have heard before hand away. Good surround sound in games, comfy and well built. Man but Music with these are crazy loud and clean with good bass. Down side no EQ controls via USB connection but the built in sound card is worth keeping connected this way. Just adjust your Playback devices Enhancement properties. Loudness Equalization on or off for even higher volumes one way its louder in games, the other is louder or sounds better with music. With the USB this is the only adjustments these really need. If you have a good Mobo with a mid lvl sound solution or a headphone amp dac with good power even better if you don't like using the USB connection. If you ever see The Hyper X Cloud ll under 99$ buy them no questions asked and you will not regret it.

Awesome Quality - Too Small Build

I purchased the Hyper X based on reviews online. Not only on Best Buy, but several other sources. The build quality and feel of this headset is superb. I can also recommend this headset... provisionally. I, unfortunately, had to return the headset as it is too small for my head. The headset did not extend far enough to prevent the ear cup from pulling up on my ears which made it painful to wear for any length of time. Sound quality was excellent, build is solid. So, for people that can wear the one size fits all ball caps, you probably will not have any issues with this headset. If the ball caps are too small at the largest setting... well, try a pair in store if possible to ensure they will fit properly.

Awesome headset. I use this for my Teams meetings and for playing COD on my PS5 early in the morning before my family is awake. Has built-in noise cancelling which helps for the Teams calls and is very comfortable to wear. The detachable microphone is great for taking the headset on the go.

Had these for a couple months now, upgraded from my Turtle Beach XO Four Stealth after my third pair broke on me. Theyre lightweight, really easy on the ears, and comfortable to wear with glasses. The sound is gorgeous, I have a bass booster on it from my previous headset and I love playing PUBG with them (except for when I'm in a red zone lol). Does a good job of cancelling your background noise, I turn on a box fan and piano music when my SO lays down and my friends can't hear it through my headset. The braided cord is always nice too. I'd definitely recommend these for console gaming if that's what you're looking for, my PC isn't up to snuff for gaming so I couldn't tell you about the audio controller and whatnot.

I bought these to replace my Turtle beaches that had broken. The TB's were the second pair I had owned and both had broken headbands, apparently a huge problem. I decided I wanted something a little more reliable and better constructed. The aluminum frame was exactly what I was looking for. it's sturdy and just as light as the plastic bands on the TB's. The sound is great too, offering surround sound. They feel good on the head for long periods of time and you hardly notice they are there. The only complaint I have is that there isn't a volume or mute control on the headset themselves. There is one on the extended pc usb adaptor that is included, however since I'm using them with an XB1, it does me no good.

Purchased to enable extended WFH due to Covid-19. My work involves a lot of meetings/calls, so the low quality audio of shouting at my laptop wasn't sustainable (esp with a partner also WFH!), and the cheaper headset I had on hand was painful after only 1 call... so I looked for a comfortable gaming headset - figuring gamers wouldn't put up with bad audio or discomfort for hours - and found this one. I really like the two ear pad options that came with it, and the adjustable boom mic is really nice (some other gaming headsets have a mic that can't be adjusted, goodness why?). The plug in options are also good, including direct audio in and USB options. The top headset pad is good, and the adjustable length works well. Overall comfortable, versatile, and seems of good quality. I've only used for 2 weeks, but seems like it will hold up. Bonus that it has some color to it (in my case, red) and so is easier to find in all the chaos compared to all of the other black-on-black computer gear that manufacturers make. Note that the mic does not come plugged in (again, another nice option that it's removable if not needed), and that you really have to make sure it's plugged all the way into headset for the mic to work. Not difficult, just might need to make sure it's fully seated to work correctly. Only drawback - and it was minor - was that it took a few extra steps (control panel>sound) to get my PC to recognize the headset, but that was easy to do. Also came with a nice quality storage bag, which I didn't expect. I wasn't sure if an ~$80 headset was going to be worth it, but this seems really well put together and well designed.

These things are AMAZING!. I have a very sensitive head. And most headphones with padded head bands end up giving me a headache. These don't. And I think it's because the earcups are so good. They fit perfectly and block out a LOT of outside noise. The sound quality is above average. These aren't super expensive headphones. But it does simulate 7.1 surround pretty well. It also has a really long cord (when used with the external adapter). I also really like the quick connect microphone. Overall, I really like these (hence buying a second pair).

The best wired headphones I’ve owned besides a pair of skull candy ear buds that lasted all through thigh school. Super comfortable ear pads, the speakers are nicely padded and give you a good amount of space before even touching your ears. Wearing glasses was not an issue with them at all. Super quality build, sadly a short 3.5mm cable never did use the 7.1 sound card because it was for pc only but loved the headphones until I decided no more ripping my controller out of my lap or off the desk.

I looked up competitive gaming headsets and this one came up while the cloud 3 came out already I still went with the cloud too and was not disappointed at all. I recommend this or maybe cloud too. Also my astros 50 still work which are at cost of $250.00+ and these that are a little over $100.00 caught me by surprise on how much better they are.

PROS: Finally! I headset that the 7.1 surround sound does not sound like garbage and annoying. It really brings sound out of games and even music. As of sound quality, it is very good for the price paid. They look good and come with different cups. They are very comfortable and dont hurt my ears or my head like most headphones do. Button controls are convenient and easy to use. Installation was easy as well. CONS: I wish there was real-time voice feedback through the headphones like Turtle beach does, so you can hear yourself talk. I sometimes find myself talking too loud cause of the noise cancellation of these headphones. Bass could be a tad stronger with these. It comes with different cups. But I find that the leather cups get hot and creates sweat around your ears. I dont like that. So I stick with the cloth cups.

I bought this particular set of headphones during the black friday sale for 69.99 (msrp 99.99) and I didn't expect much out of it because I have a pair of Astros at home. I bought this one as a backup, but it turns out the quality is just as good if not better than the Astros I have. I would definitely recommend the Hyper X Cloud II to both serious and casual gamers alike. Pros: -Comfortable ear cases -true 7.1 surround sound -sturdiness and high quality for the price Cons: -Not wireless -Length of the wire needed to connect to device and for full functionality.

These have been a fantastic product. They're very light which is why I prefer wired headphones, and the quality is fantastic. The only con is the chord is a bit short, but a headphone extender is cheap if not lying around. Great product and a better price.

Beautifully designed headphones that are sturdy and still feel like you’re wearing nothing at all. Nothing at all. (Ned Flanders) The surround sound is great and only plugs in through usb. The headphones can be plugged in through a 3.5mm jack and it can split the mic and audio if you need to with the provided adapter. The mic is phenomal and cancels out all noise around you, really well may I add, and it also could be removed from the headphones if you don’t need it. Comes with a nice carrying case.

I wanted something wireless but it turns out those are hard to find for Mac. I like the fact that it has a cord extension option with usb so it’s compatible with my iMac and I can move more freely at my desk without getting choked by a ridiculously short cord. The sound quality is great and the microphone is detachable so I can use it with or without. Not to mention the ear pieces are big enough and the head band is well padded so I can wear them comfortably without squishing my ears, and causing a headache.

When you open this headset package you immediately see the care that went in to it. That's before you even open the box. Then when you pull the top of the box off you then get to gaze upon the quality and design oh this headset and it does not disappoint. Only thing I would say is slightly sub par is the bass. Don't get me wrong they sound great still. The mic is flexible and I have never had anyone complain about my sound having static or picking up echo or background noise. It is super comfortable. And has a great look. Sound quality is awesome and you will love this headset.
