Customers often highlight the superb sound quality and comfortable design of the Cloud II Wired Gaming Headset. Many appreciate its compatibility with multiple gaming platforms and the detachable microphone. However, some users mention the headset's relatively short cable and lack of inline volume controls as drawbacks. A few also noted that the fit might be snug for some users, and that the bass could be improved.

For less than $100 this is one of the best headsets you can get. The sound quality was great and the headset was very comfortable. The controls are nice, although I would have preferred a button to mute the mic rather than a switch (which is not as accessible). The cable is a bit long and there isn’t a great way to shorten it, although with some zip ties your issue will go away. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a not too pricy headset, to get the Hyper X Cloud 2. I also recommend looking at some of Hyper X’s other similar models such as the Cloud Alpha.

The headset is comfortable, lightweight, and easily transported. My only gripe with them is that the sound lacks a little bass, but aside from that it sounds great.

The longest I've ever had a headset. Great sound, comfort, quality product, would recommend to anyone on a budget. I've owned headsets 3× the price that only lasted a few months. Been going on almost 3 years with this headset.

I used this headset when I was working from home and at times I would wear them for up to 6hrs. They are quite comfortable and were a much needed upgrade from my employer provided headset. They are not too heavy and the microphone quality was fantastic! I also use it occasionally for gaming now.

The headsets turned out to be better than what I expected for the price. I bought them for my son for Christmas and he loves them. They are lightweight, comfortable and great sound quality. I would recommend them highly. We have went through multiple gaming headsets and these are the best so far. The last headset he had was his favorite and he did not want to change. I could not find them any longer. I assume they were discontinued. Now these are his favorite.

This headset is a lot more comfortable than my Astro A40’s, I recently switched from Xbox to PC and was sad to discover I had to rebuy a new headset since it only worked with Xbox, but this headset is amazing for the price and honestly like it more than my $200 Astros, my friends have also said my voice sounds more clear and HD with this new headset as well

I use this for streaming and gaming. The sound quality is awesome. The mic is good though it does sound a bit nasally. The extras that come with this headset and the quality make this a steal! They are comfortable for hours even for someone that also wears glasses. They fit a small head size and the mic is removable which has its benifits depending on what you are doing. Id 100% reccomend these.

These are supreme! They feel like music headphones. Other brands just don’t get it for some reason. Sure Astro has better sound but they feel like a brick of metal on your head. Turtle beach brand is just for kids that don’t mind the discomfort and horrible quality. These have good sounds and an awesome mic that no one ever complains about. No echo mic ever. I have a $200 pair of Astro I keep for back and never use because these are far superior in comfort. They last very long as well.

I am not an audiophile by any means. As such, these do sound nice. Much better than my cheapo Turtle Beach from 8 years ago. It is comfortable to wear for long sessions, even more if I switch to the included soft fabric ear pads. Construction feels solid. The braided cable is sturdy feeling. The sound range feels good, it has bass but not in an amount that gets tiring to hear after a few minutes.
As for the 7.1 Virtual Surround feature, I'm not sold on that and actually prefer it to be off. It simulates the sound of sitting in a room with a lower quality surround sound system, mimicking reverberations and echoes off the walls of the room and making the sound source feel like it is a distance away. Definitely not more immersive or realistic sound. And tracking sound sources becomes more difficult, object sounds are either mostly left or right ear, not a changing mix as they move from side to side, front to back. ALSO - on PC an included feature of Windows 10 called Windows Sonic does the same thing for free without needing a converter such as is in this headset. So for PC gaming this is redundant.
So is this headset worth the $90 asking price? Wish I could say, I haven't researched the competition and how their features are priced, and if you even need those features, but price aside it's a nice headset.

This is the only headset I will use. It is supremely comfortable, highly durable, and will work on any system with a 3.5mm jack. It's box can be used as a carrying case and it comes with a padded bag for compact carry. With the mic removed it looks like a nice pair of headphones for on the go. Last but definitely not least, the sound quality is superb. You just can't beat a headset this quality for a price this low.

I bought these soon after buying my new HP Omen Obelisk PC last Memorial Day 2019. I LOVE how they sound, as well as how they feel. Very comfortable and the sound quality is great for a PC Gaming Headset. I like how the microphone detaches. Product feels like quality and if I take care of it will last me for many years.

So I bought these because my brother got em and the comfortability is great and sound amazing but I was thrown off when the headset didn’t come with its own dedicated volume controls or mute button. That was disappointing because I play Xbox as my main. But I still give it a five because the headset itself is amazing to make up for it

These headphones are actually pretty awesome.
The sound quality is excellent, the construction is solid, and they are inexpensive.
What else would you want from a pair of gaming headphones?!
Oh, and if you are like me and have issues with your ears getting too hot. These come with two types of ear covers - one being very cool to the touch.

I started looking at headsets around the end of Nov to Dec 2016. Initially I was just going to get a set of L******h's but after reading reviews of them I started looking at other brands. After reading many, many reviews of the Kingston HyperX Cloud II's I ended buying them around Jan 2017. They are a little bass heavy and that is fine with me as I listen to a lot of EDM/Trap/Dubstep. As far gaming goes these are amazing, the audio is very clear and the microphone picks up very well and has it's volume control. I have used these with my phone and the audio comes through clear like it does on the pc. I like that almost everything on these headphones are modular, the ear pads are replaceable, the headphone unplug from the USB controller into a 3.5mm 4 conductor plug that is smartphone compatible. Also the USB controller is replaceable if you break it. The microphone also is removeable if you want these to become just plain old headphones. I would highly recommend anyone looking for headphones to give these a try.

Love these hyperx, the usb plug for 7.1 surround sound really delivers on the pc. Sound great on my xbox one x as well. They are well built and very comfortable to wear, once you switch the ear pads, which can be a little tricky. Includes a microphone that can be adjusted into almost any position.

I chose this headset based on quality and value (based on a quick google search comparing the best headsets for the price). I've used PC speakers for gaming for the last decade and never understood the point of headphones (I like boomy, bassy explosions). Well it turns out that headsets are the way to go. This pair has a built in virtual 7.1 surround system which makes games sound a little more cinematic. However, if you're playing FPSes (PubG or COD MW), you'll want to turn it off for better positional audio. Build quality is good (metal brackets that hold the ear cups, with a sturdy, non-fatiguing headband). Mic is detachable and easy to set position. The included cable is very long for use with a laptop, however, I'm assuming it's for desktop PC use with your rig on the floor so it's not a big deal. The package comes with a mesh carry bag and extra set of plush earcups (non-leather). I love these things and they most certainly give me an auditory advantage in games. Don't hesitate to buy!

If you want a good-sounding gaming headset for less than $100, the HyperX Cloud II ($99) is one of the most comfortable, stylish options you can buy. The headset's virtual 7.1 surround-sound capabilities do an admirable job of highlighting your games' more subtle sounds, and its lightweight design makes it a cozy companion for marathon play sessions.

I landed on these after trying a multitude of other sets such as TB700s, LS35s and even Astro A40s. The sound in these is so much more accurate and clear than any closed back cans I've used. Wide soundstage. Very comfortable for long periods. Mic boom gets the job done. The only downside is no mic monitoring. Comes with carrying bag (meh) and velour earpads to change to if you don't like the pleather(?) Ones they come with.

This is my second pair of these, first one only stopped working because I accidentally ripped the cord out of them when moving stuff around. Oops.
The sound quality is great and on the cord is a little device that lets you change the volume of the headset and the mic. Among some other things. Though you can unplug that device if you want to plug them directly into whatever you are using them on to control volume and settings from there.
They are VERY comfortable and even fit my relatively bigger head. You can't really hear outside sounds which is nice. And the earpads come with a spare and a diffrent version of them also. The mic is detachable also. I don't use my mic so this is a great feature. Though the sound quality during my test was wonderful. Cord is nice and long.
I don't really have any real complaints. If was forced to think of one it would be sometimes you forget they are on your head because they are so comfortable.
