At first, I wanted to return these. They just weren't as comfortable as my hyperx cloud 2's. I actually had a slight headache after a few hours of gaming. That was then, this is now, and they have grown on me. They are very comfortable I'm used to them, and the sound is excellent. Playing almost exclusively modern warfare, I found the 3d sound useless. I am sure there are other games where that may be functional so getting the non s version may be good for some. Playing music on these is excellent. Having the capability to connect a variety of ways is a nice touch but not necessary for me.

very good headset for gaming. The comfort could have been better. After 1 hour it started to hurt. tight fit. Sound was great.

OMG! I cannot say enough good things about these gaming headphones. Best pair I have owned so far and the 3-D sound is pretty cool too when you turn your head. Also a bonus is that I like to listen to streaming music as well and have always had issues with volume/bass on other head sets but, these meet the challenge.

This was by far the Best sounding headset I have ever used. But I ended up having to return because whenever I used it on the Xbox and tried to chat online every one including myself could hear a continuous static noise coming through. I tried everything from changing out the 3.5mm cables to making sure I had no background noise but nothing worked for me. I would love to get this headset in the future hoping I won't have the same issue

Good sound but not worth the $330 paid for them. There are solid options out there for less.

The sound quality is definitely top tier, and the microphone is absolutely hands down the best I've had on a headset. I was able to replace my Blue Yeti and people were not able to notice I was talking on something new. The only caveat here is the lack of Wireless support with PC. It definitely takes this away from a perfect review, and I hope we get something in this quality range from HyperX in the wireless field soon.

Its is a extremely excellent headset. I can tried 5-6 of the top end headsets in the last year. And this is the one I have chosen. Wireless ones need to be charged and you cant do that while you are using it. Sounds amazing, feels great and I can wear it for hours with out it hurting my head.

These headphones have an amazing sound quality and are cheaper than the audeze version because they removed the Bluetooth capabilities. The only thing I don’t like is that after owning them for 1.5 years the plastic holding the headphone muff snapped due to wear. If it were made out of better materials, these headphones would be perfect.

Overall the sound quality is impressive and just astounding compared to anything else I have heard!

These headphones sound amazing in games, movies, and music. The planar drivers are implemented well on these headphones and the 3d sound is some of the best surround sound available. The only downside would be the white noise present when there is no sound to the scene you are listening to.

The sound is incredible! I thought for sure that the sound coming from them was my Bose desktop speakers. The bass and depth of the sound is way better than anything I have ever experienced. If you have the extra scratch, pony up and try these out!

These sound great on phone calls, listening to high res audio, and/or listening to 7.1 surround sound. The 3D audio is a cool feature that I don’t really use but is fun to show off and to turn on for movies! Everyone I’ve shown loves these!

The sound is fantastic. I dont think any gaming headset come close to this one. It's better than my old Astro a50. The 3d audio give a real good sound stage. I can hear footsteps and its precise location. The biggest downside is microphone. mic is very quiet.

The quality of sound these headphones give are top notch. I used ps4 golds for awhile and after using the hyper X I relized you cant compare the 2, very comfortable, and amazing quality.

Awesome gaming headset. Very comfortable for long gaming hours. Great 3D sound effects. Centering button for 360 sound. Scroll button for manual setup. Great sound.

If you are looking for the best premium headset for gaming on PC, Xbox One, PS4, and even the Nintendo Switch then look no further, especially if you are wanting it for PC which has the Audeze software for it that enables the 3D features which even without is still an amazing 7.1 headset. I prefer my headset wired anyway but if you want a wireless headset this doesn't have any blue tooth options unfortunately. The headset itself looks very nice to me personally and features planar magnetic drivers which for comparison both the Astro A50s and Steelseries arctis pro doesn't have for the same price as the orbit s.

I had these headphones for about 3 weeks. The sound and built quality was great; however, when updating the firmware on the headset, they got bricked. I called customer service and they had me troubleshoot the headset until they finally realized that their update online was for the base headset version and not their orbit s version. They had me send the headset to them, but knowing I had the 15 day return policy at best buy, I returned these and got the same model but with a working firmware. I enjoyed them for a week, but had to swap out for the Astros A50, which offered a greater complexity of controls for what I do.

The quality is sound is amazing. However with the PS4 the sound didn’t match. All sound sounded like it was behind you. Really caused issues with playing first person shooter games.

the performance of the headphones and mic is top tier and get what u pay for but...... 5 months of avg(purchased Jun 7,2020) use the plastic material that binds the earcup to the head strap broke clean. i have never had a headphone break like that and i have bought some really cheap 10 buck crap that never broke like that. spending 300 bucks on some headphones and the build quality of a major stress area is low grade bottle plastic. is painfully confusing . so if you want the best audio experience you can buy while being comfortable but have to interact with the headphones like it is made out of glass go ahead. the cables have robust insulation thicker that the material used to bind the headphones together so i can still hear out of them but the ears are no longer attached.

The price tag is a little high but overall worth it if you want very high quality 3D audio that is both clear and loud
