Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the Cloud Orbit S Wired Stereo Gaming Headset's sound quality and 3D audio features, with many praising the immersive audio experience. Comfort is also frequently cited as a positive, although some users note the headset's weight and potentially tight fit. While the high price point is a common concern, the overall audio performance seems to outweigh this drawback for many buyers.

Great sound with very fast charging. The only thing I would beware is, it can be tight for some people.

Great sounding headphones for pc gaming, cannot be beat. The massive drivers on its own is enough to shock you, let alone the planar magnetic drivers, super crisp sound for a true hi-fi grade sound. Tested against all top of the line Astro/Turtle Beach/Steel Series/Razer (You name it) and these come out on top. Treat them with care and defiantly get warranty to protect your investment.

Wouldn't recommend at full price, but if you can get this headset at a discount, this is a great headset. As with most HyperX headsets, this is very well made, despite being a mostly plastic build. Sound is excellent, with multiple channel types accessible on the headset or through software. The 3D audio, although I feel is more of a gimmick than feature, works well depending on the application. Not all games will take advantage of this feature. Mic quality sounds clear, good enough for gaming chat.

The Cloud Orbit S is slowly becoming one of my personal favorite headsets. While I've gone through quite a few daily headphones. (Kraken, Arctis 7, Cloud II, Nari Ult., A40s and R70x for Ex.) The Orbit S definitely stands out in performance. Things I enjoy? - Orbit S gives one of the clearest and deepest low ends I have ever gotten from a pair of gaming headphones. - Build quality is Solid. - Cannot hear anything outside of them and volume can be cranked without an additional amp as well. - Ear cushions are very comfortable. - 3D Sound is WILD, and EQ presets in software are awesome. Things I didn't care for. - While the headset is very comfortable, it does have a slightly more snug feeling. - Volume controls on headset feel slightly clunky when scrolling for how much is needed to adjust the volume more than 30-40%. - Headset is battery powered and rechargeable but no Bluetooth (or any other wireless connection)?

Several weeks in. Nothing but 10/10 for me so far! Headset gets a little unfortable on the top of the head but that’s only after 3-4 hours of playing. The audio is tremendous! Blows my old 2013 Astro A 50s out of the water. I’ve been playing Modern Warfare which is horrible audio, this headset completely makes up for it

I love this headset. I did have issues with a low cracklings noise but I did a firmware update laying the headset down flat and now they are pristine! I can hear footsteps and the direction usually before they find me. Movies and music are also phenomenal. Best headset I’ve ever invested in.

So I just bought these headset and for the price I would expect it to work out the box that isn't the case. So for starters when I a PS4 party there's feedback with the headset and a buzzing sound that comes from it. For the price I payed I wasn't expecting this to be an issue. If anyone have any feedback it's more than welcome.

I use this for gaming on a PS4, movies, music, and a headset for audio conference calls. Sound is amazing across all usage, but if used only for gaming it would get 3.5 stars because there is a buzzing/humming noise when in game chat. I have had randoms comment on how annoying the sound is.

Awesome headset. So many features took me a week to learn them. I watched the youtube tutorial multiple times to learn the tricks. It outclasses the available software on ps4 because its limited to 2.1 audio (cant process high res or 7.1 surround sound) but its ready for the ps5

Build quality is not hyperx like. Uncomfortable after a few hours of use. Not as robust either, my Cloud IIs survived through more wear and tear. However The sound quality is immaculate and with the Audeze/Orbit software you can customize it to your liking. Be sure to get their full-replacement plan.

having planars instead of standard dynamics give a complete sound signature. all the sounds are precise and full of life compared to other headsets that focus either on the low or highs but the cloud orbit s gives everything life

The sound quality you get from these is unmatched for gaming. The sound and microphone blew away the Arctis Pro wireless I find the orbit-S to be on par with my studio headphones. Now having them I can't imagine playing without them.

I've been using this headset for about a month now and it's probably one of the best headsets I've bought. Sound is excellent (far better than logitech g pro x, and the corsair virtiosos), the mic quality is really good, I mainly use the hyperx quadcast and the difference between the two is mainly the sound compression from the headset (basically not as crisp as the quadcast but still great nonetheless). People are complaining that the headset clamp force is too strong but for my headsize I can comfortably wear them for 7 hours straight before my head starts getting sore.

I was upgrading from the cloud mix headphones, sound quality is way better with these magnetic drivers. A little harsh on the clamping force but not over baring for long game sessions.

There was a bit of background whine from people trying to talk to me presumable form the noise isolation software. I do have an office that is all hardwood and no sound absorbing materials so it was a gamble on whether any software would handle that well. The main reason i wanted these though was for the planar drivers and for music more then anything.I would say their audio quality is decent and on par with most other 200-250$ earphones out there in the Beats/Bose style. Not really audiophile grade headphones and definitely aimed more towards a enjoyable listening experience. That being said i was more looking for a set that would be more analytical so i wound up returning these.
