This was my 1st Blu Ray disc purchase back in Sept of 2008. I remember picking up the PS3 and this $28 blu ray. At the time, I was amazed at the 1080p picture and never thought it could look any better than what it . Took me a while to pick it up again. But Finally gave it a try and boy does it look even sharper and more alive than the blu ray version. The Black scenes look awesome on my C9. Only negative would be the animals CGIs in the beginning look so fake. I still have the blu ray disc box.

I Am Legend is the type of film you want to watch over again in case you missed something within your first (or second) observation. There are many nuances of the original story so carefully repackaged that it is impossible not to recognize that fact. Will Smith steals the show, and one can very much see the amount of time it took him to recreate a strong, yet confused heroine surviving in a new brace world full of questions. This looks great in 4K for being 10+ years old and I am glad that WB added this one to their 4K Collection.

The movie was decent. I havent seen it in a while so I wanted to have an experience all over again. 1st I watched the 4K version. It was crisp and clean and the audio was outstanding. Then I popped in the standard blu-ray and I can immediately notice the difference between the copies. Not sure why all the extras were put on the "standard" blu-ray but that's what they chose to do. I would not suggest this movie as a first 4K purchase but if you like the move (which I do) and your're a fan of Will then you wont have any buyers remorse.

I've seen this movie when it came out and own it on DVD but I had to get it in 4k because Why not but to be completely honest if you have seen this movie and you didn't like it or you felt it was just ok..watching it in 4k will not change your mind and the reason I say that is because this movie is around 10 years old and is not that big of a jump in 4k so if you have it on DVD you don't need in 4k.

This film is pretty enjoyable, although it suffers from a weak ending and some of the effects are a little wonky. Still has a great Will Smith performance though

Used to be I would say movies that spend the majority of their running time in darkness have negligible differences on home video. I am legend 4K defies this and takes it a step further by making the daylight scenes pop w color. Amazing presentation. One complaint is the superior directors cut is NOT ON THE 4K disc. Leaving me to watch the superior version on an inferior platform that I already owned...

I love end of the world movies! This is a remake of The Last Man On Earth that starred Vincent Price and The Omega Man starring Charleston Heston. Will Smith does a Fantastic job conveying emotions while being the only one talking in the movie for 90% of it. They brought the movie into the modern era and it will keep you guessing and scare you by the unexpected. Well worth it to have this movie in your collection!

When I first saw this, I watched the theatrical and it didn't really make sense. So later I watched the alternate ending and better understood why they called it "I am Legend." Overall, great movie. Lots of action and suspense as you try to figure out exactly what is going on and what brought him to this point. There are some comedic parts of the movie, which add to the interest as well.

My daughter really enjoys this film also ordered one for myself - Will Smith, healthy German Shepard named Abbey, Monsters, action an more sign me up every time lol - item did arrive as advertised brand new an sealed thx best buy.....

This movie looked pretty great on 4K. I realize it was shot before 4K cameras were available, but it was certainly shot in 1080p and it transfers quite well. The day time scenes are fantastic and I really enjoyed rewatching this movie for the first time in over 5 years. The "night creatures" looked a little too CGI, but again this is an older movie and it certainly didn't take away from the experience.

One of the better Zombie apocalypse movies to date. I am Legend and WWZ are the better Zombie apocalypse flicks out there. I am Legend in 4K is simply Amazing! However, in our age of experimental covid vaccines, this movie strikes a chord!

Okay so I don't want to spoil the alternate ending. My wife and I don't think the alternate ending was good. If you watch that version you will notice the differences pretty instantly when you get to the point where he gets trapped and rescued. Other than that I still think this is an awesome movie and I had to get this one for the alternate ending. If you don't have the movie, your in luck because it has both endings for you to decide.

I Am Legend follows the last man on Earth as he struggles to survive while fending off the infected survivors of a devastating vampiric plague. A brilliant scientist who raced to discover a cure for the man-made virus as humanity came crumbling down all around him, Robert Neville (Will Smith) was inexplicably immune to the highly contagious superbug. Now the entire population of New York City -- and perhaps the world -- has been transformed into carnivorous bloodsuckers that fear the light and live solely to spread their contagion to any remaining living creature that crosses their path. It's been three years since civilization came to an end, and the loneliness has taken a devastating toll on Neville. By day he scours the city for food and supplies while sending out desperate radio messages in hopes that someone might respond, and by night he attempts to find a way to reverse the effects of the virus by experimenting with his own blood. But time is running out for Neville as the legions of infected watch his every move from the safety of the shadows, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

Will Smith's acting skills have steadily impressed me over the years and he's become one of my favorite actors. I admire the story, although it does have some very sad moments. It's rare that I buy anything on DVD anymore, but this was one movie I wanted on disc, in a box, with a cover...instead of just a "download" or whatever.

The 4k transfer for this movie is great, after watching it, I went back to the regular blu-ray version to compare. 4k is definitely the only way to go now. Just wished the 4k version had the alternate ending. I like the story better when there is a happier ending for Will's character

One Of my favorite movies I already had it in standard resolution but I got it in 4K because Of obvious reasons but there is not that much of a difference because it's an older movie so if you have it it's not really worth getting but if you do not have it I would purchase it.

It's based on a post-apocalyptic world where very few human beings try to survive while "co-existing" with deformed creatures of the night that hunt to kill and sleep during the day. There are a few emotional parts to it as well. Good movie to watch!

Will Smith always aims to please. This is a more globlized version of the original 70's movie "Omega Man", which I recommend to watch with this film if you want to appreciate both films more. A post apocalyptic world, where Will Smith is trying to find a cure to what has plagued whats left of mankind. Savage feral creatures who were once human now roam the world at nights.

A lot of movies get upscaled or remastered in 4k that look half as good as this. . It truly is wonderful on a nice 4k HDR TV. The blacks are blacker and the brights are brighter . Looks crystal clear. Also one of my favorite movies of all time..

Love zombies and will Smith. Didn't disappoint. Will watch again and again.
