I wasn't sure how I'd like this modern adaptation of an awesome classic such as Frankenstein....but this had some great visual elements and story lines I really wasn't expecting. Aaron is way too handsome (and small) to be a truly convincing Frankenstein....but he owns this portrayal and pulls off the story line like a pro. The 3D is well done as well.

I tend to watch movies for the entertainment factor. I don't go searching for plot holes (unless big enough for a truck to fall into) so I found this movie a lot of fun. Aaron Eckhart is a great actor and brings it to this role. The CGI is very good, the storyline good also. Final advice: Just follow, don't expect to be led.

The good guys (Gargoyles) see the potential for humanity in a guilt ridden Frankenstein's Monster. The demons just want the secret to his soulless incarnation to use for possession vessels. It is an interesting premise onto which an action-packed romp is build, and flying Gargoyles really are spectacular in 3D.

I enjoy seeing Aaron Eckhart movies. Liked how Frankenstein became an unwitting hero. Like the war between the gargoyles and the demons. Always wonder why the gargoyles are watching from roof tops LOL. If you have seen the underworld movies, then you will see similarities in this movie. Plus some of the same actors.

I have to admit I purchased this movie not expecting much. I mainly wanted to watch it for the special effects and I'm an Aaron Eckhart fan. To my surprise, it was pretty good, much better than what I anticipated. The special effects were pretty good. I would say give it a try, you may be pleasantly surprised.

Like me, this is one of those you wish you'd seen instead of passing it up. I caught a chance to see it and I was surprised at how good it was. I added it to my collection

If you liked the underworld movie series then I, Frankenstein will be just as entertaining. There are some regular genre actors that appear in this and they do a great job as usual. Don't expect too much and you will be satisfied.

I love everything monster movie related and loved this version of the Frankenstein story. This is one I will watch over and over again but would recommend people rent this to make sure it is to their liking. I have friends who did not care for this one but I loved it.

This movie had an interesting take on the popular Frankenstein character. It has a lot of action, and kept my attention. The acting was decent, and the effects were pretty great. I was surprised how much I liked it, even though it was pretty predictable. I would watch it again.

If you like a solid action movie this won't disappoint. But Victor Frankenstein is probably a better movie. This is about the Frankenstein monster (Aaron Eckhart) living into modern times and fighting against other demons. The setting and effects are pretty good.

Sometimes you just have to enjoy a movie for what it's trying to be and not be such a critic with every detail. Great movie, cool effects and nice story. No it's not your childhood Frankenstein movie, so what. If you can enjoy Underworld then you will love this movie as well.

My wife loves scary movies, but not gross horror movies. This fits the bill for those of us that love a good scary movie without the token F bombs the movie industry feels they have to place to get an audience. If they only knew how ignorant it makes them look.

"I, Frankenstein" is an original take on the Frankenstein's Monster story. Aaron Eckhart is believable as the brooding monster, though the plot has him allying with gargoyles to fight demons--a far cry from the original Frankenstein story we all know. To be fair, "I, Frankenstein" begins where Mary Shelley's Frankenstein ends, so it's anyone's guess where things would go from there. Bill Nighy is cast as the demon leader, and he's excellent as always. There's plenty of fighting, fiery special effects, and the 3D is a nice bonus. Ultimately, this is a popcorn flick that entertains but isn't hefty on story or runtime (it's under 90 mins long). However, if you like fantasy and sc-fi, "I Frankenstein" is a fun experiment and worth a watch.

I bought this when I had a 3D television, and it did not disappoint. I was happy with the 3D effects offered, but the story line was not as exciting as I had hoped for. In the end, a good enough movie, but not 5 stars good. Thanks!

It's an enjoyable B-movie, but more enjoyable because the 3-D set that also includes digital copy was less than $10. I got a great deal on it on Black Friday and so if you can get the same kind of deal I would absolutely recommend it. A good deal at Best Buy.

I enjoyed the over all plot of the film and overall the FX we good. The 3D was blurry in some of the backgrounds and didn't move smoothly in some scenes. I did enjoy the movie and would recommend seeing it. I'm a sucker for all things 3D anyway!!!!

I had not seen this film in theaters, so I was waiting for the 3D Blu-Ray to go on sale - just in case I didn't like it. Well, it finally went on sale - for a very reasonable price, given it is 3D. I ordered it, went out to dinner, picked it up at my favorite Best Buy store, and watched it after dinner. The 3D effects were nice. The story was original. The acting was perfectly fine. I was very happy with the overall experience. Was it Shakespeare? No. But I wasn't looking for Shakespeare! If you like sci-fi, horror, or fantasy, and especially if you have 3D, check this out!

My wife loves the movie so it was an xmas present for her. Lot's of good names in the movie, and the director/producer is the same one from Underworld, a series I really liked. It's entertaining enough but probably wont watch more than once.

Let's face it ... this is a stupid movie. However, the special effects were terrific and the whole thing surpassed my low expectations. Mindless action film which is the best you can expect from the Frankenstein monster(super-hero) anyway.

A surprisingly entertaining movie, if only because of how ridiculous it is. I honestly expected it to be way way worse, but it actually is quite fun. A lot like "Dracula: Untold", but quite a bit more convoluted.
