This is the best Frankenstein-ish movie I've ever seen. It could have been more serious or dramatic and win awards and Oscars, probably, but I liked seeing this movie AS IS. Awesome effects and a dramatic plot that avoids too much headache inducing things and it is different as well. Frankenstein's monster Adam (Aaron Eckhart) is both creepy and likable with every dramatic and exciting scene that unfolds. This could have been a different movie but I like it the way it is. This was way better than Van Hel-something. It's freaky awesome!

This is a nice movie, and is great as part of a home movie collection. We have a 3D TV and the movie does offer good 3D entertainment in the living room. My kids have already watched this movie twice after having first bought this DVD.

Like i said before on 3D movies, i like to collect them but some are not to keep. This one felt like a TV series and the gargoyles stole the show. I gave it a 4 stars for under $10 you cant go wrong and anything less is not a keeper.

Glad the movie turned out good. Simple plot but worked well. Would of liked to have seen a bit more action which may have made it a bit longer of a movie as it seemed to be over quickly. Overall better movie than I thought it would be.

The 3D for this movie is great. Much better than most and with the takeoff of the original Frankenstein it keeps your interest all the way throughout the movie. If you don't like Frankenstein movies, this is not for you.

Sometimes critics take their job too seriously. Fighting, demons being vanquished all centered around a plot that can never be truly taken seriously! Watch it for mindless entertainment purposes and you won't be disappointed.

ANOTHER Best Buy Deal! This 3D & D.C. version was cheaper than most places had the DVD. The story isn't just another retelling of the Frankenstein story line concept. It takes place approximately 200 years after he was created and the character has been named Adam... still "alive" but he gets caught in a war over humanity's fate or destiny and he realizes that he could be responsible for (or preventing) the destruction of mankind. Aaron Eckheart, who was in The Dark Knight among other things, plays the "monster" and teams up w/scientist played by Yvonne Strahovski, who was in the TV show Chuck. A Surprisingly Decent movie even better in 3D.

I actually bought this movie without watching it first because I like old time movies remade. I didn't think it would be good at all and was ready to return it after the watch but it turned out to be way better than I expected!!

If you like this kind of thing, you'll like this. It's another movie based on a comic book from the team that bought you Underworld. It is better than it should be, but not as good as your friends would like it to be.

I bought this film, admittedly, because the trailers looked good. It was different from what was portrayed in the trailers but I still enjoyed the movie. A novel take on the Frankenstein monster. Worth a look!

Artwork cover (slipcover) great done with metalics on it, sadly thers no steelbook for this one, but the edition overall its nice, and the movie its ok, great 3D effects but, not the best movie, nevertheless its enjoyable.

This film is more of an action movie than the regular horror film we think of when we hear about Frankenstein. It delivers a great plot and takes creativity of a famous known monster to another side.

I liked the movie, except for the fact that it was extremely dark and at times it was difficult to see exactly what was going on. Especially when watching it in 3d. But, the story was engaging and I enjoyed it.

Fast paced monster movie. Frankenstein is brought back to life 200 years later to help save the world. Two factions are fighting to possess a book that holds the key to bring life to the dead.

The photography and 3-d special effects were excellent. I liked the actors and they really gave it their best effort. I just could not believe that this was a Frankenstein movie. Aside from that it was enjoyable.

If you like this genre then it will be entertaining. Ending left open for a sequel but haven't heard of any plans for one. Some critics didn't like it but I don't always agree with their unnecessary arrogance.

Overall it was a good movie, not a great one, but one that would keep you watching. Had a decent plot and a lot of good fight scenes which were degraded a little by using slow mo. Overall good special weffects

A story where Frankenstein is the savior of mankind in the modern world. An interesting story which has Frankenstein surviving till the present and how he gets involved in the battle between good and evil.

Movie definitely has the Underworld vibe but has an inferior story. The 3D effect is not anything to write home about but it has its moments. Probably not a movie you'll be popping in multiple time.

An interesting new take on the Frankenstein story. It begins with the Death of the Doctor and follows the fate of the "monster" into modern times. The cinematography and special effects were well done.
