The queen of comedy is always worth adding to your collection

I purchased this for my roommate so he can watch all the shows he used to when he was a kid. It's a massive box, and so far the content is great. I'm not really sure how compression works but it seems to me like it should have been feasible to squeeze in more episodes per disc, but it's still a good collection. I had one gripe, and it's somewhat significant, thus I deducted a star from the rating. The central pegs that hold in the discs are a little oversized in my opinion. Perhaps it's a fluke in our case (no pun intended), but it's pretty difficult to get the discs out. For me personally, I'm patient and will be delicate with removal, but I purchased this for my developmentally disabled roommate, and the process of removal is irritating for him. Keep in mind, he has loads of DVDs, and for the most part has no problem with the others, but I worry that he might break some of these discs by accident just because of how tightly they fit onto the central pegs. That gripe out of the way, it's been really fun watching some of these episodes and the layout of each disc is pretty informative. Before each episode plays, there is a brief message that states when the episode originally aired. You also get to watch the pilot episode, and through the seasons see how the production changed, especially as Desi-Lou productions gained more power. I would HIGHLY recommend this for any I Love Lucy fan, with the only hesitation being that the discs can be troublesome to remove at times. Perhaps a lite oil can be applied to the central peg to resolve this issue, but I don't know.

This arrived sooner than expected, and the packaging was in good shape. I was a little concerned based on other reviews showing broken discs, but i received it in perfect condition, would definitely recommend

One of the greatest comedy series of all time. This DVD set contains every episode and lots of great bonus material. All the classics are here. I have loved this show for years and I am sure that you will love Lucy as well when you watch this set.

I`m not sure if the released this series complete on blu-ray. So I had to get the dvd. It`s still a good deal but I prefer blu-ray.

I bought these Dvds to watch in my bed to relax me and make me laugh. They are so funny I sometimes rewatch them a second time that night. I Definitely recommend them.!

Awesome set for any fan of the show. Includes original pilot which is hard to find. Bonus materials are great too!

The DVD quality is good but the case that they come in is poorly built. It’s very difficult to get some of the discs out as they are stacked together. This also makes it easy to damage discs as you try to get them out of the case.

An instant classic. I remember watching I love Lucy before school... it brings so many memories. Also, it comes in a great package.

This was perfect! No issues with shipping or condition of the discs when they arrived. Highly recommended for I Love Lucy fans.

It's I Love Lucy, how can you not enjoy everything Lucy for a price like this. Dvds are packed and stacked a little tighter than I would have liked, but enjoying the show and all the seasons nonetheless. Great product.

Love the show!! But the packaging/shipping is terrible. The case arrived cracked and broken into pieces at some places. I was able to glue to back together and make it work.
