Performance = amazing. Parts priced = competitive value especially in horrible market rightnow. Runs any/every game (steam / battlenet) max settings no problems (Mar-2018). I wisely upgraded to use a >140hz monitor, not 4K TV. Mouse&Keybd = decent. Runs quiet, LED color change. BIG room for tower upgrades. No BR/DVD drive.

62, first review I have written. I have built over a thousand systems in my 62 years and I was going to build my last system with power. After months of research I was ready to buy. One night my sister calls and wants me to buy or build my nephew one. Well I know how impatient young people are today so I was looking around on the internet for one in stock and an already built system. I came across this system and could not believe the build for the price. The system parts I was pricing for my own system were so close, but this assembled system was hundreds less. I bought one for him online and picked it up in an hour, this has everything anyone could need. After several nights of thinking about this system I had to have one; I ordered on-line and had it delivered to my house with two Samsung 32 inch curved monitors. I have never been happier. What a system. Well I said this would be all anyone needs BUT, I'm going to add another video card, 64 GB memory, two add in cards for USB ports only 'cause I'm nuts and I can. I'm not sure where iBuypower came from, (I really do read all about them) but I know where they're going. Check out their web site. Thank you and Best Buy GREAT DEAL GREAT MACHINE

Needed a new pc for the family but needed for gaming and video editing especially. This pc rocks. Have not found a program or game yet that makes it slow down. Not to mention that it's also much cooler than most computers as well as much quieter. Thanks BESTBUY and thanks IBUYPOWER for this amazing pc.

I'll start this review by stating that I have never bought a pre-built gaming desktop computer in my life. I've always built mine from parts since I was running a Pentium 3 computer. With the price increases in RAM and GPUs I decided to look into pre-built machines. These companies that build machines are still getting GPUs and RAM at the same price as they were before the crypto boom. I pieced this computer if I were to build it on my own and I would have only saved about $100. When this went on sale it made sense to get it. It handles gaming without issue on my 144hz monitor and also on the oculus rift. Parts are good quality and built quality is really good.

This is my first gaming PC and first iBuyPower PC. After about a month in, I'm absolutely sold on this desktop. I originally purchased it for $1799.99 with a 24 month interest free financing offer. It went on sale for $1649.99 about 5 days before the return window ended so I was able to take in my receipt to get a price match which was sweet.
When I was shopping around for a new desktop, I didn't know much about the iBuyPower brand though they had seemingly good reviews. All the specs that this comes with (mainly i7-8700K processor) gives me plenty of room to upgrade and anticipate it will serve me well for years to come.
I will note that the peripherals that come with the computer are just OK. The mouse is fairly comfortable though I found the keyboard to be a bit clunky for my liking. They do unfortunately slap a warning sticker on the side of the glass that has some nasty adhesive- recommend using Goo Gone to get this off. I would also recommend throwing in a few additional fans as I did notice a significant temp increase when 5 minutes into a game.
The LED lighting is a cool touch- love the magnetic remote. It's very quiet and the innards were clean and organized and plenty of cabling for additional drives. Other than that, it's been a solid machine and would buy another if the time ever comes.

I sold my MacBook Pro, did a bunch of research and this is what I found! This computer has it all. An amazing graphics card, processor, cooling system, and so much more! This thing is a beast! I wanted to build my own until I found this computer. It’s my first gaming computer so I wanted it to be a good one. Not only does it have everything I wanted but it comes with an amazing mouse and keyboard! This computer is made to be a work horse. It’s at a great price too. It’s lightning fast, quick boot up (ssd), looks great, and does it all. Couldn’t be happier! Don’t hesitate.. just buy it!

The PC came perfect right out of the box. CPU had a built in closed loop water cooler which was a pleasant surprise and left the pc running super quiet. It came with an Asus GTX1080 which leaves me with a rock solid 100+ fps on my most played games at ultra settings. (League of legends, Guild Wars 2, Warframe) The cable management was top notch when I removed the back paneling to install another HDD and SSD. I also really like that the back panel is made of steel as the color controller can be easily magnetized to the panel to prevent it from being misplaced. 5 Stars!

Very pleased with the performance, and a sharp looking package. The unit appears to have been assembled with higher end components. The only issue is that it does not have an optical disk, but that is not critical with most everything being available on-line.

I haven’t purchased a pre-built in about 15 years. I was looking to build a gaming PC that would be good for a number of years. Once I priced out the parts for the new build and compared them to this build out of the box there was no choice. Great specs for the price and I had it up and running in ten minutes.
Very quiet. And runs everything I’ve thrown at it so far without a hiccup.

I bought it on sale for 200 dollars off and it is a great PC. Holds up to triple monitor max settings Star Wars Battlefront 2 (the new one) 50-60 FPS. The RGB lighting is also super great on the case and the video card. Very quiet and boots instantly. I can load into the ESO character select screen (about an 80GB size game) in about 1 minute 28 seconds. ESO is also on the SSD. The computer also has great airflow. I have not closely monitored the temperatures, but what I have seen is that they are good

Honestly starting out I thought I was gonna get cheaped out on certain parts , but I have to say that this purchase is by far one my favorite purchases I ever made , not only did the PC come with an i7-8700k cpu but the biggest shocker was getting a full size MSI Gtx 1080 8gb Armor OC, you really can’t go wrong with this purchase if you are someone who wants to start PC gaming and want to have something that will last you years , I already upgraded my ram and added a second cooling fan and even put a bigger power supply and a second ssd m.2 to be my main OS , but having something this good pre built for you and to only have to upgrade some minor changes for personal preferences, you really can’t go wrong here

This PC is nicely spec'd out. I had purchased an Alienware Aurora R7; however, the liquid cooling system was bad and the PC had a ton of noise. This iBuyPower Trace941 is super fast, quiet, and upgrade-able. Pros: Processor, Video Card, SSD, Amount of memory, customization of RGB case coloring, and upgrade-able. Cons: No easily found user manual for the case, no built-in optical drive (I already had a USB optical drive so this was no big deal to me).

iBUYPOWER TRACE941 Review

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
Specifications:
CPU: Intel Hex Core i7-8700K, 3.7 GHz Base Clock, 4.7 GHz Boost Clock
Chipset: Z270
Ram: 16 GB DDR4
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1080 8 GB
Cooling: Liquid Cooling System
Wireless Protocol: 802.11ac
Storage: 1 TB Hard Drive, 240 GB SSD
OS: Windows 10 Home 64
Power Supply: 600 Watt
Benefits:
– While $1,799.99 seems expensive, for everything included in the iBUYPOWER TRACE941 this price is PHENOMENAL. A desktop with these features would usually clear the $2,000+ price mark.
– This computer is a powerhouse that includes an i7-8700K, a GTX 1080, AND a liquid cooling system. While this desktop would produce some great overclocking* numbers, there’s really no need to overclock anything in this system (at least not in the near future).
– In the vast majority of games you’ll easily get 90+ frames per second in 1440p, and even smooth 60+ frames per second in many games in 4k.
– This system will produce a phenomenal gaming experience, but it’s also well equipped for content creators too.
– The 240 GB SSD is a really awesome bonus.
Downsides:
– The 600 W power supply is definitely sufficient, however if you’d like to add a second GTX 1080 down the line, you may want to look into upgrading the power supply.
– Since this desktop is geared towards enthusiasts who are either gamers or content creators, the 1 TB hard drive may fill up fairly quickly, so you may need to add another hard drive and/or SSD at some point.
Verdict:
While $1,799.99 is a high price point for most, this PC isn’t for “most.” This is an enthusiast’s PC. If you’re looking for a top tier PC for resolutions of 1440p and above, this is the PC for you. The price is more than right, and if you’re an enthusiast who can afford it, you will not be dissapointed.
*Overclock at your own risk!

I bought this on a spur of a moment kinda deal and had every intention in purchasing one of the HP Omens. I was in need for a new gaming machine because of my 5-year-old Xidax I-5 GTX970 machine couldn't play the new Horizon at max settings. I know I could have purchased a new v-card but with the price of a new card and the age of the machine why would you. You're not going to save much building one yourself with the spec's of the Trace straight out of the box and there is wiggle room for upgrades in the future for years of fun entertainment.
The Pros on this machine vs the cons. You'll be getting a machine that straight out of the box that is plug and plays ready to perform. Boot time is amazing with the 250gb SSD HD also has room to add another SSD HD. Liquid cooled cooling a nice decent i-7 processer. 1080 gtx VR ready. It is a nice set-up
Cons
I'll be adding a few more fans even though it is water cooled.
Memory is on the light side at 16 and in the future that will be upgraded.
The power supply is in-house made by IBUYPOWER I believe, but it is doing its job fine. I just would have liked to have seen a name brand one. With that said I bought the protection plan from Best Buys.
Overall the Trace is a stable machine straight off the shelf ready to play the games I play at max/ultra settings flawlessly and without complaints. For the money and a few kool adds like the tempered glass and not plastic side cover was a nice add from IBUYPOWER and the LED lights are neat as well. The performance is amazing and won't disappoint.

I purchased this recently as a new upgrade from my old PC and since GPU and Memory prices are so high I decided to go with a pre-built PC. This PC runs super quiet and no issues. The GPU and CPU are operating perfectly with no major temp spikes nor malfunctions. Only thing I would suggest is buying 1 120mm fan to mount on the front for intake. Some reason iBuyPower thought there is no need but, i noticed major temp drops.

Purchased this to replace my old gaming pc. Considered building another, but for the price and specs on this one I couldn't pass it up. Being able to run right out of the box is pretty sweet.
I was in the market for an I7 processor with a 1070. This particular one came with a 1080 and better specs than I was actually after. It runs all my games like a dream and has enough room to expand, if I am so inclined.

The iBuyPower Trace941 is a great pc gaming desktop. However, it is not a complete system. I have been playing laptops for years and had start up surprises transitioning to a desktop. If you do not have existing gear, plan to buy additional components.
If I could do half stars, I would deduct one-half star for no disc drive and minor issues with documentation and the keyboard.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
SSD AND HDD – There are two memory drives, 240 gig of solid state drive (C drive) and one terabyte of hard drive (D drive).
SPEED – Frames per second (FPS) do well with graphics at ultra settings.
Games should be loaded onto the hard disc drive (HDD) unless the solid state drive (SSD) is needed for faster loading. As a first test, I ran visually impressive Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice (2017) at maximum graphics with smooth performance. Then, I benchmarked games I own that have their own benchmarking tools. Rise of the Tomb Raider with the highest graphics averaged 59 FPS on both the HDD and SSD.
These benchmarks are from HDD with options set to max out on very high/ultra. Considering that 60 FPS is optimal, the results on older games are amazing and hopefully are accurate.
Rise of the Tomb Raider (2015): avg 59, min 22, max 98
Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor (2014): avg 147, min 96, max 202
Metro Last Light Redux (2014): avg 145, min 11, max 299
Bioshock Infinite (2013): avg 237¸min 60, max 606
MOUSE - A mouse is included. It fits the hand well. It is corded with lights.
KEYBOARD – A corded keyboard is included. It has a light-weight plastic housing that has a minor cosmetic issue, the colors are less vivid than in the photo. Functionality it works well. There is a light, but behind the company logo only.
EXTRAS – There is a remote that controls the colors of light on the desktop. There are two Wi-Fi antennas. There are extras like screws and cable ties.
WHAT IS NOT THERE
NO DISC DRIVE – The industry practice has moved away from internal CD/DVD devices. Anyone with games on disc should plan to buy an attachment. The irony is that the Trace941 comes with two discs, a windows emergency disc and a speed tweaking utility.
MONITOR – A monitor is extra, unless you have one already. I added a 24 inch worked well with the desktop. Because I use headphones, I elected to use the traditional video pin connection with a green audio cable, although HDMI works.
NO GAMER AUDIO – The equivalent of an internal speaker is on the monitor, handy for casual use but, depending upon the monitor, may be weak for games. Plan to add gaming headphones or external speakers.
NO MANUAL? – There is a basic start up guide and an unpacking note. Maybe something more was there but I missed it. At a minimum, I was expecting a document that identified what was in the box.

I'm going to try and keep this short and sweet, this is an awesome machine. I was able to pick it up for $1,500 thanks to a great deal offered to me by a Best Buy employee.
My unit came with an MSI GTX 1080 Armor 8G OC card, a Corsair Liquid CPU cooler connected to one fan blowing out the rear of the tower, and what looks to be like a full-sized AS-Rock Z370 Pro 4-IB motherboard. I'm mainly just trying to run flight sims to keep up with my flight training, so I'm not an expert gamer or computer wiz but my limited research leads me to believe that those are solid components and a good base for future upgrades.
The case is very good, I like it. It lights up in any color you want, comes with a little controller that has a magnet which sticks to the case. I mainly keep mine in "white", I think it looks solid and professional. I was also considering an Alienware but I'm glad that I went with iBuyPower, the glass side panel is a nice treat, I really enjoy looking at it. I often get lost in deep thought staring at the glass...haha. Jk...
The PC itself is not loud at all. It's actually very very quiet. The keyboard and mouse are okay, they'll get the job done until I get better stuff.
I'm glad that I went with iBuyPower over the competition, will definitely recommend to a friend.

I have been out of gaming for about 10-15 years. I had no idea how things had actually progressed. I can not get into nerd mode because I don’t know the ins and outs of every component and I have no data on frame rates, this is just my novice thoughts as a father of three that likes to play PC games when the kids let me. I can tell you I went in to bestbuy for a certain pc and got talked into this one. I matched it with a predator monitor which was more than I wanted to spend but it works. It just plain works. I run everything from pubg, survive the myst, dayz and even the forest on ultra settings. It has never missed a beat. I bought a 4 terabyte hard drive, dropped it in just for games, it said it saw it, said it needed to download and update. It did what it does and just took off, not even one issue. I have heard some say you are at the mercy of whatever ibuypower has to throw in it but I ended up with a 1080 invidia graphics card, asus mother board and a quad core I7. For me and what I’ve done with it I think it’s a screamer. Forget about the lights and gadgets, that’s just a perk, but it’s pretty cool to I guess. Would buy ithis again in a heartbeat.
