Amazing computer!

I bought this computer on a somewhat whim and impulse. and I have only had it for a short time but it is a very nice computer. I was going to upgrade my old PC extensively, but then I was in the local BestBuy with my father who pointed this one out, it had all of the parts I wanted other than 32GB of RAM, but it still comes with 16GB which is great. The PC is handling games very well. On Rust with all settings (other than gibbing but that is just because I didn't notice that setting) completely maxed out on a triple monitor resolution I can get 30-50ish FPS. Which I think is pretty good for that game. In ESO I get up to 100 FPS on completely maxed out settings with three monitors as well. In the area that never performs well for anyone I even get 40-50 FPS. It is also extremely quiet due to the water cooling. This thing is so quiet compared to my old PC and the room is so peaceful now. It also comes with Bluetooth and a Wi-Fi adapter. However, know that it does NOT come with an optical drive. If that is important to you, you may consider another option or a simple disk drive that plugs in via USB. There are 8 USB connectors so there is definitely room for connections. It also has one DVI-D port, 2 HDMI ports, and 2 DisplayPort ports on the video card. The customizable RGB lighting on the case and the video card is AMAZING, I love it so much. (Just a warning it can be a little tricky to find the video card drivers for the lighting, the normal drivers are very easy to find though. Unless you can use the disk which I believe has all of them on it.) Thanks for reading!!

Sent it back twice for repairs because it would overheat, had to pay return shipping and it never got fixed. Trashed it and bought an Alien, loving that.

I've been wanting to upgrade to a PC as I finally finished school and have had an old laptop for several years. I had some pretty specific things i wanted including the 8700k, 1080, and some sort of SSD. This product had all of them at a price I couldn't piece together myself. The thing has been crushing popular titles without flinching.

After basic use for a few weeks, I noticed the internet would cut off and so I had Comcast come out, but they found no connection issues. So over the following weeks I found that if I rebooted, that the internet would work again, uck. FINALLY I discovered that there is NO DVD player. This sucks because I cannot return it and Geek Squad is not likely to find a fix for the internet issue as it is intermittent.

Fantastic Prebuild - Worth the MSRP

I have built my own computers for the last decade and a half, and I was planning to build my next rig from scratch like all the others. While comparing prices on all of the parts I would need, I saw this PC online. A display unit was set up in-store at my local Best Buy, so I visited there to see this PC in person. I was impressed, and bought one on the spot.
I certainly feel like I won the parts lottery with this build. Almost everything is brand-name: no generics. The only exception is the AIO cooler for the CPU, which is for all practical purposes a generic version of the Corsair H60 cooler. My build included an extra fan on the back in push-pull configuration with the front radiator fan. This more than makes up for the generic cooler, in my opinion.
I now have solid 60 (often 100+ uncapped) FPS in any game I have played on this rig so far, and that's nearly 40 of the hardest-hitting games from my over-300-game Steam library, plus Destiny 2, Diablo 3, and GTAV. My absolute favorite games of the past few years, The Witcher 3 and Vampyr, run like a dream. The newly released Monster Hunter: World has never dipped below 60 FPS, despite its reportedly poor optimization. In addition, NVIDIA Fast Sync works beautifully with the included GTX 1080, making buying a needlessly expensive G-Sync monitor entirely unnecessary for my purposes.
Word to the wise; add a few more case fans to keep everything cool. The build as-purchased only comes with the 1-2 fans for the CPU cooler and the GPU's fans. I added three 120mm intake fans to the front of the case and one 120mm exhaust fan to the top of the case. This addition dropped CPU temp. by 5°C and GPU temp. by about 10°C at full gaming load for me.
IBuyPower and Best Buy, good on both of you for a fantastic system. I can easily foresee this rig being my main for the next couple of years, particularly with this case/motherboard combo's overhead for expansion.

Great gaming PC

This is my first real gaming computer and I couldn’t be happier. I bought this on sale for $1,499 and saved $200. Very glad I decided to wait for this to go on sale. I have little complaints with this computer. One, there is no optical drive so I will have to get a usb one. Two, there is a lack of USB ports. Three, the SSD Storage is only 250, which I guess is better than no SSD.
Dont let these complaints stop you from buying this computer. It is amazing for the price and should meet all your gaming needs plus the ability to upgrade if you decide to do so in the future.
Games I’ve played so far:
——————————
World of Warships-
Garry’s mod-
XPlane11-
Arma3-
7days2die-
EmergeNYC-
The Isle-
—————————
All games listed above can be run on ultra graphics settings with little to no performace impact.
Also the RGB Is a very nice touch!

Superb Machine

Now, despite being a 5 star review, I did have at least a few gripes- lack of ports for an internal DVD burner (and lacks this from the start) along with a bit fewer USB ports than I'd have liked (it has 6 on back, 2 on top towards the front), but it's completely manageable. HOWEVER, this thing is a beast. It's fast, it's powerful, and the case has plenty of room to expand, along with extra slots on the motherboard. Liquid cooled 8th Generation CPU is ridiculously quiet, heck the entire machine is quiet as they get. The startup and operation speeds is bar none the best I've had in a PC to date. Even though I have yet to test any games thus far (still downloading from Steam), I can already say, with near absolute certainty, that I think this machine can run anything I'd ever want for the foreseeable future.

I didnt have the spare time to build my own PC so I decided to go with a prebuilt that would fit the specs that would be needed for my needs.
This machine is an absolute monster. It crushes all of the games(WoW, PUBG, Fortnite,Witcher 3) I play at max without breaking a sweat. It's like Christmas Day as a kid every time I get to sit down at this bad boy.
I couldn't recommend this product enough. Fantastic price for a fantastic product

All you could want for a great gaming experience

Context: Wanted excellent gaming computer I could use for high end graphics on FPS games, as well as get homework done for school.
Inside: The 1TB HDD is perfect for all my school work and files, whereas the 240GB SSD loads my games fast and makes everything run smooth. The 16GB of ram is pretty standard for gaming desktops nowadays, but it is upgradeable to 32gb if you want to buy ram separately. The GTX1080 is more than you could ever ask for in terms of graphics, just make sure you have a monitor that can make use of it. I can run Fortnite, CSGO, League, and any other top tier games on high-ultra settings with no delay or lag. The liquid cooling CPU is quieter than I imagined, as when I'm browsing the web or watching videos there is no noise. When I'm playing on maxed settings, there is an extremely slight noise of fans, but hardly noticeable unless listening in for it.
Outside: The case is a little larger than expected, however I did not really care as it is a desktop and I'm not moving it anywhere. The one side of the desktop is glass, and you can see through it to the parts making it look a little cooler. It also comes with a remote where you can control the different colors of the lighting, making it fade or strobe, or be one solid color of your choice, or... nothing at all.
Overall: I spent about 2 hours a day for 1-2 weeks doing research on different desktops and finding out how to get the most important specs for gaming and spending little as possible. This PC took the gold as it has every spec you could really want (including the 8th gen Intel i7 8700k processor that only more expensive PC's have) for such a great price. You can still buy a great monitor with this rig, and have a total under $2k which is amazing.

Amazing desktop for a great price. I was surprised to find all brand-name parts used in this system. ASUS 1080 Turbo, Corsair H60, WD SSD, ASRock MB, ADATA RAM. IBUYPOWER PC's are likely the best priced pre-built PCs overall. I bought the TRACE491 with the 1080 because it was powerful enough to run games with good quality. I felt confident in pulling the trigger because I have faith in Best Buy and all affiliated companies; IBUYPOWER included. Overall, this system is incredible. I could not have sourced, and built a similar system for anywhere near this price, especially with the current prices of memory, and GPUs.

Overall Great Gaming PC For Price

Bought this gaming deskttop because i wanted to get back into gaming again. This PC is able to handle a good amount that you throw at it. The intel 8700k Processor is the bees knees, I am able to overclock it to 4.8Ghz with the stock liquid cooling fan (1x fan) that it came with. I do have plans to upgrade the CPU cooling to a 3 fan solution, this way i can overclock this bad boy to at least 5Ghz. The only ting i would change is I wish that they had the customized upgrade option to be able to pick from either the Nvidia 1080 or Nvidia 1080 Ti, because i would have deff bought the 1080 Ti for a little extra money.

Smooth Running Gaming PC
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
So I won't lie, the first one I bought had issues. My screen would black out for a few seconds (that happened hours after setting it up), so I returned it. Best Buy was great with this. I got another, and it has run flawlessly. I'm still amazed at how smooth everything runs. I play games on it mostly (H1Z1, GTA 5, COD WAW, Fortnite), and while they aren't the most graphically intense games, they do run extremely well on this.
The good:
-Super fast and smooth.
-Looks awesome
-No bloatware
-RGB. Because you kinda just have to now.
If I had to put any disclaimers or downsides to this, I would say:
- No CD/DVD/Blu-Ray Drive. I can live without, and if I need one, I'd buy and external one.
- Only one fan (besides liquid cooling). So far temperatures are fine, so it might be okay.
-Best Buy cut the price by $100 after I bought it, and just outside the return period. Felt a little disappointed there, but oh well.

Went to Best Buy looking for a top quality PC with 16GB RAM and a solid NVIDIA graphics card. After determining that the "big brands" didn't have anything close to the iBuyPower Trace 941. For several hundred less I got all my specs with 1080 graphics card and a 240GB SSD which the big brands didn't even have available. Also got liquid cooling and super high build quality throughout! Super satisfied and so happy I listened to the salesman who highly recommended the Trace 941.

I purchased this PC with the intent to be able to play every game at its best graphics, gameplay). With the I7 processor and NVIDIA 1080 graphics card there simply isn't a game out there that I cannot run. Fortnite for example I can run with every graphical feature maxed out and still run the game at 150-180FPS, and hit well over 250FPS when tuning it down. Long story short, you cant build this PC for the price.
