Amazing desktop for a great price. IBUYPOWER PC's are likely the best priced pre-built PCs overall. I bought the TRACE491 with the 1080 because it was powerful enough to run games with good quality and future proof for when I buy the HTC Vive Pro.

This PC is amazing and runs games great. Love it. For people who are trying to find a good PC prebuilt it runs pubg at 180 fps and even higher at times with max setting. It's hard to make the computer lag with high specs running at all times.

This pc is simply amazing. It is a powerhouse and can play any game I want it to at ultra settings if I want. I mainly play FPS games like Fortnite, and this PC can hit 300-400 frames on the unlimited option easily. Very happy with my purchase.

This is a great gaming pc for the price. Has the latest technology in it, such as i7 8700k which can be overclocked as well as the 1080. Runs any game on high settings and really good fps. I would definitely recommend this to a friend

I am very happy with this pc. Don’t know how they make any money off this awesome computer. With the GPU prices in 2018 getting this pre built PC is a steal! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good gaming PC!

-- So far the computer is stupid fast. My 13-yr old and I have been installing games and playing games on max settings "betting" on which one is going to cause this thing to slow down. No luck so far. --It's beautiful. The case looks incredible from the front and the side. The LED is done well and adds to the overall aesthetic without being over the top. The inside of the case is absurdly neat and clean and makes you grateful for the glass side. And a remote for changing the LED colors. I don't need that but it sure impresses the little ones in our house. --Built in wireless (which btw: a) was not mentioned on the box, and b) was specifically told by BestBuy employee that it did NOT have wireless). --Keyboard and mouse are okay. Nothing fancy (mouse does have color changing LED) but nice. One BIG complaint is the keyboard was damaged, cracked a bit on back. iBuyPower Customer Service is closed right now so we're not sure if we're going to wait and call or return to Best Buy to see what they'll do. --Packaging for computer states it comes with an owner's manual. Either mine is missing or iBuyPower and I need to have a discussion about the definition of "owner's manual." It would be REALLY nice to have one. There are a few things included in the box that I have NO idea what they're for, and it would be nice to know about some of the internal specs. --Biggest issue and the main reason it lost a star is the lack of 5.1 audio ports. Seems silly not to. I wish it had a few more USB ports too.

Great Gaming Computer For The Price

I have only had this computer for a few days now but it is amazing. The components for the price are awesome. Some of them are not the best but it has it where it counts and that is the CPU and the GPU. The case is also very nice to look at as well, not over the top but very sleek. The only small complaint I have is that when I set it all up the keyboard space bar did not work. I had already planned on replacing the keyboard anyways, just not quite on night one but oh well. I would recommend this rig to anyone looking for a great gaming computer or just a workhouse of a PC to have for a long time.

While I'm not a true "gamer" with this PC it serves as the presentation computer for our church. The start up time is unbelievable with the SSD drive. It controls four video outputs without any issues. The product description was inaccurate as it does not have a VGA port. Instead it has 2 DVI-D 3DP 1HDMI. The cautionary trail is the my document folder needs moved to the secondary harddrive. I will say the biggest disappointment is the keyboard. It is HORRIBLE it feels like a 10 dollar garage sale find. I don't understand how Ibuypower is even willing to put their name on it. The media functions don't work. I gave it away on day two. The mouse is good. I've yet to challenge the PC in any way and it handles all four screens with zero latency.

I had been wanting to build a gaming rig for the last few months before I brought this beast. Due to GPU prices, I started looking at pre builds and decided to pull the trigger on the i7 8700K/GTX 1080 iBUYPOWER. I've had the computer for about a month now and I am highly satisfied with my purchase. The only con that I have is the mouse and keyboard but if you are paying this amount of money for a gaming computer, chances are that you would end up buying a premium mouse and keyboard anyway. I've searched online and the reviews about iBUYPOWER computers have been mixed but I took the chance anyway and so far I've had zero problems. I will update if I do run into any problems in the future though.

I bought this mainly to do my homework on, but with the intention of gaming with it when not doing homework. It does the simple tasks effortlessly. My CAD programs are no match for this bad boy. It boots from off to the desktop in 21 seconds. And games? Absolutely amazing. I run Battlefield 1 on maxed out settings and this computer runs it without a problem. The fan is super quiet as well. The mouse and keyboard aren’t the best but they do the job. Overall, I recommend this to anyone looking to play games or run graphics heavy software.

    Great Pre-Built Gaming PC

I was in the market for a new gaming system and happened to come across this system at Best Buy. Pricing out the components made it an easy choice to purchase pre-built instead of ordering everything and building it myself. It also included nice features such as water cooling system for the CPU and a case with tempered glass side and LED lighting. It has a remote control to control the lighting. The remote has a magnet inside so you can stick it to the side of the case. It is IR so you have to point it at the receiver on the front of the case. Overall the components are name brand. The motherboard is an ASRock Z370 Pro4-IB (custom version of the Z370 Pro4 with a few less features). The SSD drive is from ADATA while the regular drive is from Western Digital. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX1080 video card is from ASUS. The case has a cover in the bottom that hides the power supply, 3.5" hard drive and cables. There is room for a second 3.5" drive and a second 2.5" SSD. The only negatives are the keyboard and mouse combo. While both have lighting effects (keyboard glows red while the mouse color cycles), they are low price units that do not match the quality of the system. I quickly replaced them with Logitech products. While cabling is not seen through the window, a mess is hiding behind the motherboard tray. I spend some time routing and securing the cables using some of the included zip ties and spare Velcro cable ties that I had. Other reviews that I have seen had different manufacturers for the components, so I am sure they change depending on component pricing. I did run into an issue when I tried adding a M.2 SSD to the motherboard. While there are a variety of extra screws included with the system, it did not have the screw to secure the M.2 drive to the motherboard. A quick email to support and a RMA was issued to send out the screw. Communications with support was very good which is a bonus. I am very please with the purchase, especially with it being a pre-built system. It is nice that components are standard so if I want to upgrade down the road I will not have any issues. Would definitely purchase again.

I searched about 8 months for a gaming computer. I went back and forth over pre built or building my own. When this computer went on sale for what I deemed a deal too good to pass up, I bought it. I haven't had any problems at all. The only real "cons" were easily fixable: no cd rom, and the mouse and keyboard are terrible. The 8700K with the 1080 has played any game I have thrown at it. I do wish the 240GB SSD was a bit larger, but this computer gives me a solid base to work with. It is easily upgradable to add some future proofing. I got it at $1549, and there was no way I could build this system for that price.

    Mine had Issues

I originally purchased a Cyber Power gaming PC but had issues on the second day of getting it set up. So back to BestBuy with it. They had this IBuyPower in stock for about $150 more but came with the SSD and GTX 1080 graphics card. I pulled the computer out of the box, set it up and when I was trying to go through the Windows 10 setup I found out that the included mouse would not move the pointer up or down reliably, only side to side. So back to BestBbuy and they gave me a different (non-IBuyPower) mouse as a replacement. So I set up the computer and all looked well until it came up with the Windows Blue Screen of Death (BSD). This particular computer used an ASRock Z370 Pro4-IB motherboard. The bad thing is that –IB part of the mother model means that it was a special edition for IBuyPower and couldn’t even use the standard firmware updates on the ASRock web site. Upon inspection I noticed that none of typical drivers that come with a mother board were installed nor were the NVIDIA drivers installed. For a pre-built machine I come to expect that all drivers are installed even if they are not the most current version. Nothing was installed!!! After I installed all the drivers, the system seemed stable until my son started to use it to play games on. Most of the time it was fine but there were times it would just BSD without any warning. I called IBuyPower and they had me do a memory test (that is where the BSD was pointing to) which passed. At that point they recommended me to either ship it to them in CA or take it back to BestBuy (which I did and did not get another one). For what you pay for this system I am disappointed that IBuyPower would sell this as a prebuilt unit with it not fully being ready to use out of the box. To replace this machine I built my own, I got better parts but also at a higher price and (Knock on wood) NO BSDs. Pros: - Price for the CPU/GPU/SSD combo - Nice looking case - Fast CPU and GPU combo - Liquid cooled (low noise) Cons: - Bad mouse out of the box. - “Gaming” keyboard felt really cheap and just didn’t feel anywhere close to my Logitech G910. - Special version of stock ASRock mother board. - Memory cards didn’t have heat sinks on them (the model below memory did) - Only cooling was the one fan in the Graphics card and two fans attached to the radiator for the CPU liquid cooling. (Wondering if the memory was overheating and failing due to the missing heat sinks and no additional cooling fans inside.)

Does everything I Hoped it would do fast and quiet. Adding a second ssd drive took more effort than expected, but it's working fine and looks great in the case window.
