I just got it today, unfortunately one of the LED fan light is not working. Maybe one of the cable is loose, I'll have a look at it tomorrow. Other than that, I like it.

For the price you would think it be better quality. Right out the box the top light doesn’t work and the keyboard the letters get stuck and some didn’t even work when trying to type. I need to bring it in to get it fixed just haven’t had the time because my son needs it for school for virtual learning. Hopefully there won’t be a hassle when doing so. My son does like it. Just those details shouldn’t come with a new product at that cost my opinion.

This boots and will not display on any of my screens, through either of the hdmi ports. It turns on and the fans work and light up, the keyboard and mouse light up but nothing can get a display signal from it. This is very disappointing. I am exchanging it and waiting for the new one to arrive.

Hello, We are sorry to hear no display is appearing for your system. Please make sure you are plugging the monitor into the graphics card and not the motherboard. Please also make sure that the monitor works with other devices and the cables are plugged in all the way.

Normally I build my own systems...this is the first off-the-shelf rig for me since 1997. I was all set to build another DIY custom and even had the parts in a Newegg cart when I decided to shop a few custom builders to see how they were pricing similar rigs. I saw this iBuyPower BB980 on sale here for $899 and was admittedly dubious at first...I would've been hard-pressed to DIY a similar system at that price point. So I ordered one, determined to put it to the test.
I've had it a week now, and I have to say I'm impressed. The unit was well packaged with not even a scratch (important as nearly half the case is thick tempered glass, that's not Lexan or plastic). On first boot the first two things I noticed were how quiet it was despite having 8 fans in various places; and NO BLOATWARE. I know, I know, I couldn't believe it either. It's true. Just Windows, device drivers, and an app to control the RGB fan colors. Skip straight to "install your games".
In that regard it performs as admirably as you'd expect given it's specs. So far I've run two monitors, World of Warships at 1080p, "maximum" detail settings on the first, while also encoding a livestream with OBS Studio in x.264 mode at 720p30 on the second. GPU was at about 50% usage and 140F temp, frame rate between 75-80. CPU usage between 25-35% and also about 140F. Did this for several hours and never saw OBS drop a single frame. I don't have a 4k monitor so I can't comment there, but this rig should handle anything and everything you throw at it in 1080.
The case is built like a tank, as well as gorgeous to behold. There is room enough in the front for a 360mm radiator, and quite possibly room for another 240mm radiator on top. 4 of the 5 fan power connectors are 2 amp/24 watt and well suited for use with water pumps. Converting to liquid cooling would be a breeze. Only 2 of the 4 DIMM slots are used, and the chipset can support a max of 64GB of RAM. There is also a second PCIe (4x) slot for an M.2 SSD, as well as a legion of extra SATA, USB, and RGB light control hookups.
The included mouse and keyboard are nice enough, although I agree with a couple other reviewers in that the spacebar can occasionally tilt/skew if you don't hit it dead center...probably an easy fix but I already have a keyboard+mouse combo I'm quite attached to. The RGB controls are also a bit lacking...where the case fans are fully customizable and gloriously bright, the keyboard colors just have a few presets, and the mouse colors aren't customizable at all. I'm nitpicking at this point though and it definitely doesn't merit losing a star over...it wouldn't bother me if it had no mouse or keyboard at all.
I know there are several questions in Q&A about *exactly* what brand/model the hardware components are. They do tend to vary from build to build from what I've read, and honestly at this price that's to be expected. For what it's worth, my build has an ASRock B365M IB-R motherboard, which appears to really be a B365M Pro4-F minus a few rear panel I/O ports. PS/2, a pair of USB 2.0, DVI-D, and D-Sub are missing despite contacts and labeling on the board for them, although this isn't much of a loss. No one uses PS/2 anymore, and since the Intel F-code processors like the 9700F lack an onboard GPU the DVI-D and D-Sub wouldn't work anyway. The remaining HDMI port is not functional for the same reason. Drivers for the Pro4-F appear to work perfectly with the IB-R.
RAM is 2x8GB Apacer DDR4-2666 DIMMs in a proper dual-channel setup, and the GPU is an MSI GTX 1660 Super Ventus XS OC with 1x HDMI and 3x Displayports. The Displayports are "DP++" or "dual-mode", my passive HDMI adapter works just fine so if you need more HDMI you can grab the passive adapters at Best Buy for about $10 each. HDD is a Seagate Barracuda and the SSD is a Neo Forza SATA III. The power supply has no visible branding, but it's 500 watts and carries an 80 Plus Bronze rating.
11/10 I would buy this again in a heartbeat...I got the rig I wanted to DIY build for roughly the same price and without the hassle of putting all the components together myself. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a sub-$1k gaming rig that has lots of future upgrade potential.

The computer I have bought was so easy to set up. And it's been running so smoothly and it's whisper quiet. I love it. Even with a really old monitor (had to buy a VGA to HDMI adapter) the graphics look great. It came with a free keyboard and mouse that are really nice, love all the color changing glow on all the fans and keyboard and mouse. For being as good of a computer it is for a small time gamer like me, it was really well priced.

Bought this pc about a week ago and I gotta say it’s pretty great so far. The graphics are amazing and it runs super smooth. Shipping took a few days longer than expected but it was worth the wait. The LED look really nice and the fans do a decent job of cooling. Setting up was relatively easy especially after watching some of their youtube help videos. One of the LED fan lights wouldn’t come on at first but if you open up the back of the pc you just reconnect one of the loose cables that unplug during transit, nothing too crazy to handle, it happens. The RAM works great with the games I play, they run smoothly and the graphics look great.

For those looking for a prebuilt set up that is a budget powerhouse, look no further.
Now I use the term budget lightly, but the truth of the matter is with the payment plan it is affordable and you get your bang for your buck. Way better then anything you can find on Amazon.
This beast is silent thanks to the fan system and you'll have no problem running something like COD: Warzone.
In short, you will be happy when choosing this set up.
It came ready to play, the setup was easy, and the fact it comes a fairly good mouse and board set up goes a long way. I will deff look into getting stuff from this company again.

My only issue I had with this system is the RGB connectors came loose during shipping and was able to figure it out on my own. Mine did not have the protective packaging on the inside but was packaged well in the box. Very easy to setup... just plug and play for the most part! I have had PCs in the past and this one runs the same if not better than my previous. I chose to buy pre-built because of how hard it is to find reasonably priced parts during this COVID crap.

My dad recently got a job where he needs a pc so we needed to get A new pc for me while my dad got my old one. I got this and arrived about 2-4 days and it was easy to figure out everything besides the rgb changer but I figured that out after starting up the pc. I don't lag while playing games anymore and helps me in school. (My old one took a while to load zoom up) Very good pc if you have the money and are new and don't know anything about pc's.

Just received my iBUYPOWER a couple of days ago. Sent up was super easy and it runs so smooth. I have already tested two games and it is quite and graphics are crisp. I am just getting my feet wet in the PC gaming world, but I would definitely come back to iBUYPOWER in the future.

It was time to swap my 7-year old desktop; I needed a capable machine for work at home, but also the new Microsoft Flight Simulator. This is really amazing, and it all setup perfectly right out of the box. The computer is fast, quiet, and looks great.

Being super into gaming like I am, and trying to find a PC to run the games I like, this PC is a really good pick! It runs everything with ease, including multitasking and even streaming. The colors inside of the PC are fully customizable, and the keyboard colors are able to be changed with the press of a button. I came from an old Elitebook laptop (which isn’t very good for gaming, haha) and an Xbox One S. For the price and the specs inside of the computer, it is definitely a steal! The only thing I didn’t like is that the packaging comes without any cover, like another box. So, if you are planning to buy this, make sure you or someone else is home when it arrives.

Well, I needed a solid desktop for work, decided to go with this model after a lot of research since it was in my budget. Honestly, I am so happy, this is my first Ibuypower computer but I have a feeling it will not be my last.
It is able to run all the adobe and other design software I use with absolutely no problems or hiccups.
Additionally, all the games I run on this machine preform amazingly. Even Escape from Tarcov preformed and outshines my expectations. The machine was super easy to set up and booted like a computer with with these specs should.
Last thing, I will probably add more ram and a larger SSD such as a m.2., however right now the machine does not even need the upgrades. Surly I will upgrade and this model appears to easily allow for everything. Such a good deal!
