Excellent experience and gaming at high level

Hello, this gaming system has been a really good one from the moment I opened the box. I hear a lot about ibuypower and how they don't put the equipment that is on the box, however in my case, everything was in there. No scratches and everything worked. I recommend this product if you don't build computers, or are tired of building rigs. This is currently on sale as well which is a great buy. I used the $200 savings and purchased a 1tb SSD and 2x 16gb memory. I also got the monitor when it was on sale for $450

And yes I got the correct model. Snowblind 956. It even said rtx 2080 ti on the box. I opened up to take inside shipping protection piece out. Looked on card said rtx 2080 and had 6 pin and 8 pin connectors not 2 8 pin. I booted up pc went on nvidia panel yep rtx 2080 8 GB not 2080 ti 11 GB. It was a thick oc evga but still not a 2080ti. Waste of $30 gas best buy did return but said it happens. So guess they see it all the time. Good luck hope u actually get a 2080ti in yours.

Unfortunately, they skimped out on the rest. The RAM is cheap, the SSD is cheap, the PSU and cables are cheap. The motherboard is decent and the GPU is a Zotac 2080 ti. It's unfortunate that they wen't low quality on the rest of the system just to be able to throw a 2080 ti in.

      Hello Matt,
Unfortunately, we cannot specify the brand that is used in system as our brands vary dependent on what we have on hand. However the brands range from major gaming companies such as MSI, ASUS, etc. Thank you! ibp-AW

Had to replace almost every part besides the actual case and after my 2nd 2080ti shes now stable and I couldn't be happier. It was inconvenient to have the 2080TI die on me but it's to be expected with these cards (THEY RUN HOT).check out my channel -2080TI BUILD (DRAGON BALL Z THEME) iBUYPOWER 956 https://youtu.be/LrYqfNZRA2o

    Amazing Gaming PC

I bought it yesterday, and I played the Anthem demo. It looks so stunning and I can’t believe how fast the loading time is when I played Anthem. The loading time is so fast. Honestly in the gaming future, I decided to go PC, because it will be a better investment and better to save money instead of buying the next gen consoles. I can’t wait to play more on this powerful desktop and definitely worth the investment, if you are trying to upgrade your desktop. Also I love how it comes with a wireless usb adaptor so you don’t have to use the Ethernet cables. I’ll probably be fully converted to PC soon. Still love my Nintendo Switch, PS4 Pro, and XBox One X though, but the PC just makes the gaming experience so much better.

Runs pretty good out of the box. Cpu gets alittle warm with the supplied air cooler. I installed a corsair h100i 240mm cooler. Cpu stays under 50c now while gaming in 4k. I also installed a 500gb m2 ssd and replaced the 240gb ssd with a 1tb ssd. The system comes with 16gb 2666mhz c19 ram I replaced with 16gb corsair 3000mhz c15. System now runs great. I play games in 4k at 60fps and this handles it with no issues. Parts list mine came with. Zotac rtx 2080ti 9700k Deep cool cpu cooler Msi mb 2666mhz c19 ram (not sure on brand) 850w psu 240gb wd ssd 1tb wd hhd

    For the Money Overall Disappointed

When you spend this type of money on a product, you are expecting it to meet certain standards. The trademark for this computer is the side LCD panel. For this to operate properly, the entire interior needs to be white or close to it. That is not how this comes. I went through two of these computers after returning one. Both had black motherboards, black gpu, green ram, and brass/metal cpu coolers. Some displays show all white, which is misleading. Any black sections will make the LCD display uneffective. Also you play the computer lottery with component parts. The first one was a MSI motherboard but did not have wifi or Bluetooth built in. There was supposed to be wifi USB adapter but could not find it (one of the reasons it was returned). A USB slot would have been wasted on this however if in the box. The second one was an Asus motherboard with wifi/Bluetooth built in. Why not use this for all of them (I know...probably cheaper at the time for the mfg). The graphics card for both was a Zotac, the same one that seems to be plaguing the chat boards, with a defective RGB light. The components run fine (outside of the wifi/Bluetooth incident) but again when you pay this kind of money, you expect a superior product. Also like many of the reviews, comes with a cable that is useless for the GPU to LCD side panel without an adapter. So defective GPU RGB light, component parts that I am going to have to figure out how to turn white, a cable that is useless w/o adapter, and a return to get a motherboard with built in wifi/Bluetooth capability. The main point of purchasing this computer is the LCD panel. You can get the same parts in a cheaper computer. So I am disappointed that the manufacturer chooses parts that drastically effect the use of the LCD to probably cut down on cost.

This PC handles anything I throw at it. Although, I was playing Rainbow Six Siege and I was wondering why I had a max of 180 fps on low settings. Turns out one RAM stick wasn't pushed in all the way, so after I pushed it in the problem was solved. My FPS jumped from a max of 180 fps to 240-290 fps haha, it was a hugeeee jump. Other than that small issue, everything is perfect so far and I love it

First: I created a Google doc for common issues that I and others have encountered with these machines which should prove to be useful for others who buy these rigs. docs.google.com/document/d/1Vyjm0dTfyP1GNHknCF0gZteDtDER5YrNy-Pgs04FqdM/edit?usp=drivesdk If the link gets removed by BB and you want it then send me a message on Reddit - username ThatGuyGetsIt I went through two of these and ended up returning mine due to the lack of support from iBuyPower and the component manufacturers (such as Zotac, and MSI). A lack of any documentation results with you chasing down details on how to get and configure rainmeter (this is covered in the Google doc above, if BB doesn't strip it from the review). An absurd number of people don't even get the correct cable in the box for connecting the LCD panel to the GPU. The components vary wildly. A lot of pre-installed software on the image they're using isn't even compatible with the computer. The RGB on the Zotac 2080TI simply stop working after updating drivers (with clueless Zotac support and no ideas on how to resolve). If you're hoping that shelling put this sort of money is going to result with an impeccable computer free of any worry then do not buy this computer. If you find it on a good sale and you've a modicum of technical prowess then it may be a good choice for you. If you decide to pull the trigger, then good luck.

I've read all the negative reviews and, luckily, I have not experienced any of those issues. I've had it for a couple of months and it plays BF V and Apex legends on ultra with no issue. So, great all around. Only a couple of minor things. The wireless USB that comes with it is useless. I had one die, contacted Ibuypower and they sent another. Just yesterday it died too. So, wireless isn't good... bank on upgrading that yourself (or using wired which is fine). The case display is great but, as others have said, they send the wrong cable to hook it up... So, either check before you leave the store or, bank on getting the right one later.

Alittle pricey buy well worth it. The side screen can be used for a wide range of things including a 3rd monitor for utility screens. Its got some intense power under the hood.

Bought this for gaming, the LCD screen is cool even though little bit of time getting it setup. Recommend calling for the correct cable if wrong cable is in the box like mine since the system does not have a DVI on the RTX 2080 Ti graphics card. Plus it was missing the code for Steam Wallpaper engine. LCD doesn't affect the game play thus why left it at 5 stars.

I Absolutely love this PC so far! The 2080ti packs a punch paired with the 9700k. My only problem I have had so far was when setting up the display on my LCD panel I did not get the Display port to DVI cable but ibuypower's customer service is really helpful incase you don't get the proper cord in yours. Worth every dollar!

    Great Machine

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Overall this machine is great. Had a few things to figure out through Google/reddit as very little instructions actually came with the computer. It does require a little more setup than a typical computer. Pros - Wicked fast Latest Graphics Card Handles intense games with ease Pretty quiet (does get a little louder with intense gaming) Cons - Have to buy a separate cable just to use the LCD screen (it came with a short DIV to DIV cable, but with this graphics card, it doesn't have a DIV port - will update this part if the company sends another cable, but where it's not listed in contents I'm not sure they will) There was no mention of the WiFi being via a thumb USB stick... thought there would be a built in WiFi card, but eventually figured that out as it wasn't labeled (thought it was for other hardware) Other than that, no real issues yet. Beautiful case and system.

Tower case is unique. This model doesn’t come with the proper cable to connect the tower screen so I bought one and be prepared to install updated software and drivers for motherboard and graphics card to maximize functionality. Otherwise this is great pc.
