A: Hello, I have the IBUYPOWER Snowblind model 956. Here's my experience with getting the side display panel working. On the rear of the PC at the top there should be a button to turn on the Leds (Lighting). If your video card has a DVI Output connect it; connect the other end DVI To the Input Side Panel input. DVI---To---DVI cable. I had a DVI---To---HDMI Cable so I connected the HDMI end to the Back of the Video Card and the DVI to the Side Panel Input. The Side LCD Panel can be treated like it's another monitor. I downloaded and installed a safe freeware application rainmeter [https://www.rainmeter.net/] which gives you the capability to put 'in-motion' wallpaper on the 'Display 2' panel. NOTE: I downloaded the 4.2 Final Release - r3111 July 8, 2018 not the BETA version. You'll get the hang of it after you play around with it for awhile. IF you have any further questions or need support Contact IBUYPOWER at 1-888-462-3899 for technical support. I hope this helps.
A: My first one had wrong graphics card rtx 2080 instead of 2080ti wtf. 2nd one led side panel had like spots splotches in it. Cant see most of the screen that well anyways
Q: Does the case come with the design on the second image? Or is that just for show?
A: NAW DUDE - THAT IS A **SEE THROUGH MONITOR** (RUNNING RAINMETER TOOLS) YES. A TRUE MONITOR - PUT WHATEVER YOU WANT ON IT... Also has a backlight on/off switch if you don't feel like looking at it...
A: Hey Billybyter, I just picked up one of these Saturday and mine has the following stats: Systems I-Series P6 Intel Core I7-9700 WD 1TB Blue Sata-3 64MB HD Snowblind IBP Element Case W/3 Ring Fans MSI Z370!-PRO Zotac RTX 2080TI 11GB AMP Video Card 850 Watt 80Plus Gold P.S (White) (USB) Asus USB ACSI-Dual-Band AC600 Wireless USB Adapter (OA3) X20-17139 MS WIndows 10 Home/Pro 64bit DVD (OA3) MS Windows 10 Home Advanced IBUYPOWER Gaming Keyboard Ares E1 IBUYPOWER 7-Color Gaming Optical Mouse (Free 30-Day) MS Office 365 Trial Custom FOam Packaging DDR4 ADATA 8GB DDR4-2666 (x2) White NVIDIA GTX Video Card Backplate 19" Snowblind Side Panel LCD Deepcool Gammaxx 400i CPU Cooler (White) They included a short cable to connect the panel LCD to the video card; however, it (the cable) is specced for Series 10 GPUs (DVI to DVI instead of HDMI to DVI). The "easy" fix would be to call IBUYPOWER Customer Support so you can get a RMA# - they'll mail out the correct cable... So far, I've had NO issues with the system that I picked up - boot up was simple and pretty flawless as well. I'm in the process of upgrading RAM, hard drives and an AIO!
Q: Can this pc handle 4k gaming at 60fps?
A: Yes! On even the most demanding of titles. I love mine. I play the division 2, Anthem, Metro exodus all at very high FPS (90-125)at 3440x1440 ultra wide. But at 4k 60 fps is very doable with this.
A: Just for the upgraded RTX 2080 TI and CPU it's worth it (for $500 difference). Temp wise mine runs fine. It does generate a lot of heat (not unreasonable) mid game play.
Q: What is the maximum amount of memory supported by the system board?
A: If it has the MSI Z370-A Pro motherboard it's max supported RAM is 64GB. I'm not sure if the board is the same for each unit they ship, this is what mine has. Hope this helps DDR4 4000+(OC)/ 3866(OC)/ 3733(OC)/ 3600(OC)/ 3466(OC)/ 3400(OC)/ 3333(OC)/ 3300(OC)/ 3200(OC)/ 3000(OC)/ 2800(OC)/ 2667/ 2400/ 2133, max 64 GB.
Q: Can this PC play games like Fortnite? And would it be good for streaming?
A: This will play any game currently out without issue.
